Abstract

Hypertension, one of the most common chronic non-communicable diseases, is often undetected and has become a leading cause of mortality worldwide. This worry emphasizes how crucial it is to carry out this inquiry. This study sought to ascertain the association between the level of medication adherence and the knowledge and attitude of hypertension patients at Tanjung Karang Public Health Center. This study used a cross-sectional methodology, purposive sampling, and a correlational analytical design. Correlational analysis was done on the 51 respondents that made up the sample. A validated questionnaire was used to gather data, and the Statistical Program for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to evaluate the results using the Spearman's Rho test. The majority of respondents were over 45 years old (72.55%), male (52.94%), had completed senior high school (35.29%), and worked as fishermen, farmers, or housewives (56.86%). Most respondents had low levels of knowledge (94.12%) and a positive attitude toward treatment (68.63%). The majority had a moderate level of medication adherence (82.35%), with no respondents categorized as having low adherence (0%). The test results showed no significant relationship between attitude and adherence (r = 0.134; p = 0.347), and no significant relationship between knowledge and adherence (r = -0.009; p = 0.951).

Abstract

Food safety is very important, especially when it comes to snacks that kids and adults eat a lot of. Rhodamine B is still often used as a food coloring, even though it has been banned because it can cause serious health problems, like liver damage and a higher risk of cancer from long-term exposure. This review seeks to investigate the occurrence of Rhodamine B in diverse food products available in the community and to evaluate the analytical methodologies employed in prior research. The research methodology employed is a literature review of national articles published between 2020 untill 2025, utilizing a literature search via Google Scholar with keywords pertinent to Rhodamine B and food analysis. Data were analyzed descriptively according to sample type and analytical methods, including color reaction tests, wool thread tests, thin layer chromatography (TLC), and UV-Vis spectrophotometry, along with the outcomes of Rhodamine B identification. The findings indicated that Rhodamine B was still present in various food items, particularly traditional red cakes, school snack crackers, unbranded jam, red velvet cakes, and certain steamed cakes. Layer cakes, jelly-based foods, cilok sauce, and shrimp paste, on the other hand, were said to not have Rhodamine B in them. This finding stresses the need for ongoing food monitoring and the use of good analytical methods.

Abstract

Kertasari Village is one of the villages in Labuhan Haji Subdistrict, East Lombok Regency, whose main economic base is in the agriculture and fisheries sectors. Despite its rich potential in dry land and agricultural/cash crop production, the village community faces serious challenges in the form of high poverty rates and health issues, particularly stunting and malnutrition among pregnant women. This situation is exacerbated by the suboptimal utilization and processing of agricultural products to meet families' nutritional needs sustainably. The University of Mataram's Community Service Program (KKN PMD) focuses on interventions based on the optimization of local resources. The aim is to reduce poverty rates, stunting, and early marriage by maximizing agricultural products for the nutritional needs of pregnant women, infants, and children. This is achieved through the optimization of agricultural/cash crop processing into value-added food sources by creating innovative products. The program aims to create smart farmers and a healthy generation by maximizing the potential of agricultural products, thereby realizing an independent and stunting-free Kertasari Village.
