Abstract

Currently, teaching materials are needed that can be accessed offline and online to make it easier for students and teachers such as e-books.  e-books can be further developed with interactive features. The results of observations on a number of teachers show that teachers have not been able to create digital learning media for them to use in learning. This community service aims to improve the ability of teachers to develop digital learning media using the Flipbook PDF Professional software which will be hosted on Google Drive. This activity was carried out at the Madani Islamic High School, Banjarmasin City. The methods used in the training include stages (1) planning, (2) implementation, and (3) evaluation of activities. The results of the implementation and evaluation of activities show that training on the development of digital learning media using flipbook PDF Professional software for teachers in the city of Banjarmasin has had a positive impact on participants in the form of increasing their ability to develop learning media digitally.  The positive response to the implementation of the training shows that training on the development of digital learning media into e-books is considered useful for use in the learning process in the digital era at this time.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dikelas VII-2 SMP Negeri 1 Tg. Tiram. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa/i kelas VII-2 SMP Negeri 1 Tg. Tiram yang berjumlah 29 orang. Objek penelitian ini adalah kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data setelah pemberian tindakan pada siklus I melalui pemberian tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis diperoleh 10 dari 29 siswa (34,48%) telah berhasil mencapai target keberhasilan sedangkan 19 siswa lainnya (65,51%) belum mencapai target keberhasilan dengan rata-rata kemampuan siswa sebesar 63,62. Dari kriteria keberhasilan klasikal maka persentase keberhasilan ini belum memenuhi. Setelah pemberian tindakan pada siklus II melalui pemberian tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis diperoleh 26 dari 29 siswa (89,65%) telah berhasil mencapai target keberhasilan sedangkan 3 siswa lainnnya (10,35%) belum mencapai target keberhasilan dengan rata-rata kemampuan siswa sebesar 86,37. Berdasarkan target keberhasilan klasikal (≥85%) maka persentase keberhasilan ini sudah memenuhi. Dari uraian sebelumnya dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dikelas VII-2 SMP Negeri 1 Tg. Tiram.

Abstract

The implementation of community service activities aims to care for the environment, build character to reduce plastic waste in SMP Negeri 9 Pekanbaru. The method used with the socialization stage, the counseling stage, the stage of implementing the outcome of the service and the monitoring and evaluation stage using an environmental care questionnaire consisting of one indicator, with 8 subindicators and 26 statements using the google form Community service has been carried out on students of SMP Negeri 9 Pekanbaru, in grade VIII with a total of 40 people. The scope of material in this activity about caring for the environment includes; caring, awareness, involvement, responsibility, exemplary, cooperation, courage and social concern. Provided with google form. Data was obtained from a questionnaire that was distributed on average to care for the environment with a score of 79% in the caring category. With the education provided, it is hoped that students can personally build a better character about caring for the environment and can apply it in real life and can be realized in daily behavior. So that becoming more appreciative and loving for the environment can reduce environmental damage that comes from plastic waste pollution. It can be concluded that caring for the environment builds character to reduce plastic waste for students of SMP Negeri 9 Pekanbaru category cares.
