Abstract

Berau Regency in East Kalimantan possesses significant mangrove forest resources with high biodiversity and ecosystem value, yet their utilization for ecotourism has remained suboptimal, leading to limited economic benefits and insufficient community engagement in sustainable development. Recognizing this gap, the study was designed to analyze and propose a sustainable mangrove ecotourism management model that integrates economic, environmental, and social dimensions to ensure long-term viability. The research employed a mixed-methods approach combining qualitative techniques such as in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, surveys, and stakeholder analysis, with quantitative tools including financial feasibility analysis, SWOT analysis, and business canvas modeling. Data were collected from 30 key informants, 200 respondents, and extensive field observations, supported by secondary statistical and planning documents. The findings reveal that Berau Regency’s mangrove ecotourism has substantial development potential, with an estimated revenue of Rp 9.8 billion by the fifth year, a positive Net Present Value of Rp 8,650 million, an Internal Rate of Return of 18.5%, and a payback period of 4.2 years, confirming financial feasibility. Furthermore, the proposed collaborative governance model, involving local government, communities, private sector actors, and NGOs, is projected to increase community income by 66.7%, create 450 new jobs, and enhance ecosystem conservation through structured monitoring. The study concludes that sustainable mangrove ecotourism in Berau Regency can be effectively achieved through integrated multi-stakeholder collaboration, balanced financial mechanisms, and adaptive management strategies, thereby contributing directly to local welfare improvement, biodiversity protection, and the advancement of Sustainable Development Goals.

Abstract

This study analyzes the potential of the implementation of sharia economics in supporting sustainable development in Berau Regency, East Kalimantan. Using a descriptive-analytical approach and secondary data from BPS as well as the latest literature (2021-2025), this study identifies opportunities for the integration of sharia economic principles in regional development management. The results of the study show that Berau Regency has significant potential to develop the sharia economy through the halal tourism sector, halal industry, and sharia finance. Recommendations include the development of policy frameworks that support the sharia economic ecosystem and the capacity building of human resources in the field of sharia economics.

Abstract

Pemahaman masyarakat tentang kewajiban nafkah dalam keluarga Muslim masih terbatas dan sering hanya dipahami sebagai kebutuhan dasar, sehingga memicu konflik rumah tangga dan perceraian. Artikel ini bertujuan merancang konten edukasi hukum nafkah yang komprehensif dengan mengintegrasikan perspektif fikih klasik–kontemporer dan peraturan perundang-undangan Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan meliputi riset kebutuhan masyarakat, analisis sumber hukum, desain modul tematik, serta pengembangan konten multimedia yang mudah dipahami. Hasil menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan besar antara pemahaman masyarakat dan konsep hukum nafkah yang sebenarnya, terutama terkait ruang lingkup nafkah, kewajiban suami saat istri bekerja, dan nafkah pasca perceraian. Konten edukasi yang dirancang dinilai relevan, praktis, dan berpotensi meningkatkan literasi hukum, keadilan gender, serta stabilitas keluarga Muslim di Indonesia.

Abstract

Pemahaman pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) syariah di Indonesia tentang fikih muamalah masih terbatas, sehingga banyak praktik bisnis belum sepenuhnya sesuai prinsip syariah, terutama dalam transaksi, pembiayaan, dan bisnis digital. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan menyusun modul edukasi fikih muamalah kontemporer yang praktis, kontekstual, dan mudah dipahami bagi pelaku usaha mikro syariah. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan melalui FGD dan riset lapangan, kajian literatur fikih klasik–kontemporer, desain kurikulum dan materi multimedia, pelatihan fasilitator, serta uji coba pada UMKM. Hasil menunjukkan modul efektif meningkatkan pemahaman dan mendorong perubahan praktik bisnis menuju transaksi yang lebih sesuai syariah, termasuk pemanfaatan pembiayaan syariah dan penghindaran riba. Modul ini berpotensi memperkuat literasi keuangan syariah, etika bisnis Islam, dan keberlanjutan UMKM syariah di Indonesia.
