Abstract

General background: Keterampilan menulis merupakan kompetensi penting dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, yang membutuhkan integrasi aspek menyimak, berbicara, dan membaca. Specific background: Namun, hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta didik kelas V MI Assu’udiyah masih kesulitan menulis teks eksplanasi sesuai struktur dan kaidah kebahasaan, sehingga tingkat ketuntasan belajar rendah. Knowledge gap: Meskipun penelitian sebelumnya membuktikan keefektifan Project-Based Learning (PJBL), kajian yang spesifik pada penerapan PJBL dalam menulis teks eksplanasi di tingkat madrasah ibtidaiyah masih terbatas. Aims: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peningkatan proses dan hasil keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi melalui penerapan model PJBL pada peserta didik kelas V MI Assu’udiyah. Results: Melalui Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dua siklus dengan 16 siswa, ditemukan peningkatan signifikan pada aktivitas guru, partisipasi siswa, serta hasil menulis. Ketuntasan belajar meningkat dari 60% pada siklus I menjadi 81,25% pada siklus II, dengan pergeseran mayoritas siswa ke kategori “Baik” dan “Sangat Baik.” Novelty: Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada penerapan PJBL yang tidak hanya menilai hasil tulisan, tetapi juga mengkaji proses keterlibatan siswa secara kolaboratif dan kontekstual. Implications: Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa PJBL relevan sebagai strategi pembelajaran dalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka untuk memperkuat literasi menulis sekaligus menumbuhkan keterampilan abad ke-21. Abstract

General Background: Education at the primary level plays a pivotal role in shaping students’ foundational knowledge, skills, and character, yet learning engagement often remains low. Specific Background: In the context of the Merdeka Curriculum, the integrated Science and Social Studies subject (IPAS) requires active and meaningful participation, but observations at SDN 51/II Paku Aji revealed limited student involvement and poor academic results due to monotonous teaching practices. Knowledge Gap: Although cooperative learning models are widely studied, few investigations specifically address the application of Small Group Work (SGW) within the IPAS subject in elementary schools, especially regarding students’ discussion skills. Aims: This study sought to improve learning activities and outcomes of fourth-grade students through the implementation of SGW. Results: Conducted as Classroom Action Research in two cycles with 20 students, the findings showed a significant rise in teacher performance (from 77.27% to 90.90%), student participation (from 65% to 85%), and mastery of learning outcomes (from 55% to 80%). Novelty: Unlike prior studies, this research situates SGW within the Merdeka Curriculum’s integrative IPAS framework, emphasizing collaborative discussion as a core competence. Implications: The findings demonstrate that SGW not only enhances academic achievement but also fosters active engagement and social interaction, offering a practical strategy for teachers to address low participation in IPAS learning.Highlight : Teacher performance improved significantly across learning cycles. Student activity in discussion, listening, and writing increased. Mastery of learning outcomes rose from 45% to 85%. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV yang terlihat dari kurangnya antusiasme mereka dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Permasalahan ini diidentifikasi melalui observasi awal yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dimana siswa yang memiliki motivasi baik sebesar 41,93% dan siswa dengan nilai diatas KKTP sebesar 35,48%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran Talking stick berbantu Platform Wordwall, serta meningkatkan motivasi, proses, dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup data kualitatif berupa lembar observasi keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran dan angket motivasi siswa, serta data kuantitatif berupa hasil observasi, angket, dan tes hasil belajar.               Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) motivasi belajar siswa meningkat dari 85,71% pada siklus I menjadi 93,10% pada siklus II (kategori sangat baik); (2) proses pembelajaran guru meningkat dari 81,55% menjadi 89,95% (kategori sangat baik), dan proses belajar siswa meningkat dari 70,43% menjadi 91,73% (kategori sangat baik); (3) hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari 71,42% pada siklus I menjadi 93,10% pada siklus II (kategori sangat baik). Dengan demikian, penerapan model Talking stick berbantu Platform Wordwall terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar, memperbaiki proses pembelajaran, serta meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the process and learning outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) through the application of inquiry learning methods to sixth grade students of SD Negeri 178/II Purwasari in the 2024/2025 academic year. The background of this study is the low student engagement and the results of learning in IPAS that have not yet reached the Learning Objectives Achievement Criteria (KKTP). The study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach which is implemented in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings with a duration of 2 × 35 minutes. The subjects of the study were 21 students, consisting of 10 male students and 11 female students. Data were collected through teacher performance observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, and cognitive learning outcome tests, then analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of the study showed a significant increase in each observed aspect. Teacher performance increased from 57.5% in the first cycle of the first meeting to 72.5% in the second meeting, and in the second cycle it increased to 75% in the first meeting and 85% in the second meeting. Student activity increased from 52.5% in the first meeting of cycle I to 61.9% in the second meeting, and in cycle II it reached 73.7% in the first meeting and 88.7% in the second meeting. The completion of cognitive learning outcomes also increased from 57.1% (12 students) in cycle I to 90.5% (19 students) in cycle II. These results prove that the application of the inquiry method is effective in increasing student engagement and science learning outcomes, and successfully meets the established success indicators.

Abstract

This classroom action research was conducted with the aim of improving the quality of the learning process and student learning outcomes in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject through the use of the Discovery Learning model . The research was conducted at SD Negeri 198/VI Ulak Makam Village in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year with 20 sixth grade students as subjects, and was designed in two cycles which included the planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection techniques used included learning outcome tests, teacher and student observation sheets, and documentation, where all instruments had been validated in advance by material experts and instrument experts to ensure the suitability of the material, level of difficulty, competency achievement indicators, and the accuracy of teacher performance assessments and student activities. Data analysis was carried out descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the study showed an increase in teacher performance from 64.28% in the first meeting of cycle I to 78.57% in the second meeting, then increased further to 85.71% and 92.85% in cycle II, while student activity developed from 45% in the first meeting of cycle I to 65% in the second meeting, then increased to 80% and 90% in cycle II. The achievement of cognitive learning outcomes also experienced a significant increase, with the number of students completing from 13 people (65%) in cycle I to 17 people (85%) in cycle II, so that the research success criteria were achieved. Thus, the application of the Discovery Learning model has proven effective in creating more meaningful learning, increasing student involvement and active participation, and providing a positive impact on science learning outcomes in elementary schools, indicating that this model is worthy of being implemented sustainably in daily learning.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) berbantu media Wordwall. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 192/II Sungai Buluh dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri atas dua pertemuan dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 20 siswa yang terdiri dari 10 siswa laki-laki dan 10 siswa perempuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan menghitung persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran guru, aktivitas siswa, dan ketuntasan hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja pendidik mengalami peningkatan dari kategori baik pada siklus I menjadi sangat baik pada siklus II, yang mencerminkan adanya pengelolaan kelas yang lebih optimal sesuai sintaks model STAD berbantu Wordwall. Aktivitas siswa juga meningkat, dari kategori cukup pada siklus I menjadi baik pada siklus II, yang menunjukkan keterlibatan, motivasi, dan kolaborasi siswa yang lebih tinggi. Selain itu, ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa meningkat secara signifikan, yaitu dari 65% pada siklus I menjadi 85% pada siklus II. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan model STAD berbantu Wordwall efektif dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran sekaligus hasil belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, model ini dapat dijadikan alternatif strategi pembelajaran inovatif yang berorientasi pada pembelajaran aktif, kolaboratif, dan berbasis teknologi sesuai dengan tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Educating students to become good human beings cannot be separated from the role of teachers in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as teachers. Teachers are required to act as professional educators. The principal's role as a leader reflects the principal's responsibility to mobilize all existing resources in the school, so that a work ethic and high productivity are born in achieving goals. The leadership function is very important because apart from being a driving force, it also plays a role in controlling all teacher activities (in order to improve teaching professionalism). In educational institutions, a teacher's professionalism is very necessary to produce quality students. From the research results, it was found that the principal's efforts to improve teachers' pedagogical competence were by providing direct guidance and supervision to teachers related to the process of implementing learning in the classroom. The school principal's efforts to improve teacher personality competence by providing a good example for teachers. The school principal's efforts to increase social competence are by creating a sense of togetherness and family by improving communication between teachers. The school principal's efforts to improve teachers' professional competence, by providing guidance and involving teachers in training activities, seminars, workshops and KKG, to expand teachers' knowledge and gain new knowledge, so that they are able to apply it in the learning process at school. Abstract

Abstract This research aims to find out the principal as an educational leader regarding gaps and deviations at SDN 50/VI Lubuk Mantilin Kec. Anchor. This research includes evaluative research using the Descrepancy Model. Measuring the effectiveness of the program is carried out by comparing two things at the end of the program, namely the beginning and end of program implementation, namely comparing ideal conditions with real conditions regarding school principal standards. Variables are measured with instruments in the form of questionnaires. The results show that there are two main problems, namely gaps and deviations in the elementary school environment in Lubuk Mantilin Village.. The resuits of the first research are as follows, firstly, the gap includes several things a) leaderships quality gap, b) resource gap, c) treatment gap, d) implementations gap, e) communication gap. And as for the second result, the following are several devications that may accur, a) administrative deviatus, b) ethial deviations, c) devications in curriculum implementation, d) principal deviations in assesment. The results of the two studies show that there are action to overcome and reprimand the accurrenre of gaps and deviations at SDN 50/VI Lubuk Mentilin based on 8 national educatonal standards, namely content standards, process standards, graduate competency standards, standards for educators and education staff. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kualitas karakter pada sebagian siswa sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam aspek kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, dan sikap saling menghargai sesama. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis peran guru Pendidikan Pancasila dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter pada siswa, sekaligus mengidentifikasi strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan serta kendala yang dihadapi selama proses penanaman nilai tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi deskriptif yang menekankan pemahaman mendalam terhadap fenomena yang terjadi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan guru Pendidikan Pancasila, kepala sekolah, dan siswa, serta dilengkapi dengan dokumentasi pendukung. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif melalui tahap reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk menggambarkan temuan secara sistematis. Fokus penelitian mencakup enam nilai karakter utama, yaitu religiusitas, penghargaan terhadap perbedaan, kerja sama, tanggung jawab, berpikir kritis, dan kreativitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah melaksanakan peran secara optimal melalui strategi pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dan kontekstual. Namun, sejumlah kendala seperti perbedaan latar belakang dan kemampuan siswa, keterbatasan waktu, dukungan lingkungan yang kurang memadai, serta keterbatasan sarana dan media pembelajaran menjadi hambatan dalam proses internalisasi nilai karakter. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi sinergis antara guru, keluarga, dan masyarakat, serta perlunya pengembangan fasilitas dan strategi inovatif untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the IPAS learning process and outcomes through the application of the Problem-Based Learning model supported by Wordwall media in fifth-grade students at Sijau 224/II Public Elementary School who have low learning completeness (41.38%). The research used a two-cycle Classroom Action Research (CAR) design with a sample of 22 fifth-grade students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation of learning activities and learning outcome tests, analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed a significant increase in teacher learning activities from 87.5% to 95%, student learning processes from 59.47% to 81.03%, and IPAS learning achievement from 69.23% in cycle I to 88.46% in cycle II. The Problem-Based Learning model supported by Wordwall media proved effective in creating interactive learning and increasing student engagement in problem solving. The implications of this research provide creative learning methods that can be replicated to improve the quality of IPAS learning at the elementary education level.
