Abstract

Education is not merely intended to make children intelligent, but it must also be able to shape their character. Character provides a strong foundation for children to grow into successful and happy individuals in the future. Teachers can develop innovative learning strategies to foster character building, one of which is through the use of games. This community service activity aims to build students’ character through the snakes and ladders game. The activity was carried out at SD Negeri Sonosewu, Kasihan, Bantul. Two types of snakes and ladders games were used, namely the banner version and the digital version, both of which were equipped with question cards. The question cards contained tasks related to mathematics, singing, and general knowledge. The implementation method of this community service program included observation, lectures, and practical activities using the snakes and ladders game. To measure the success of the program, students were asked to share their impressions and experiences during the game sessions. Through this approach, the snakes and ladders game proved to be an effective learning medium to build students’ character from an early age. Moreover, the implementation of this community service program is expected to bring valuable benefits to the students of SD Negeri Sonosewu, Kasihan, Bantul

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of self-confidence, academic resilience, and learning discipline on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The research method used is quantitative with an ex post facto design, because the research variables have existed naturally without manipulation. The study was conducted in July 2025 with a population of all students of SMK Muhammadiyah Mlati and a sample of 150 students selected through a simple random sampling technique. The data collection instrument was a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire on the variables of self-confidence (X1), academic resilience (X2), learning discipline (X3), and mathematics achievement (Y). Before being used, the instrument was tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using prerequisite tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and linearity) and multiple regression using SPSS-25. The results showed that self-confidence, academic resilience, and learning discipline had a significant effect both simultaneously and partially on mathematics learning outcomes. Simultaneously, the three variables contributed 21.4% to learning outcomes, while the rest was influenced by other factors. Self-confidence increases students' courage to face challenges, academic resilience helps students survive difficulties, and learning discipline supports learning consistency

Abstract

This study aims to provide an in-depth description of digital-based educational service management at SMA Muhammadiyah Mlati, covering both academic and non-academic aspects. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and documentation involving the principal, vice principal for curriculum affairs, teachers, administrative staff, and school operators. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with validity ensured through source and method triangulation. The findings indicate that digital service management at SMA Muhammadiyah Mlati is implemented systematically through stages of planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation. In the academic aspect, programs such as ASBK, UASBK, and the digital library operate effectively through structured task organization based on official decrees and the use of e-learning platforms. Meanwhile, non-academic services such as Dapodik, ARKAS, and Online Student Admission enhance administrative efficiency. The main challenge lies in teachers’ adaptation to technology; however, the school’s support through continuous training, technical assistance, and the provision of classroom operators has successfully improved digital competence and the overall effectiveness of digital-based educational service management.
