Abstract

Diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) are a complication in patients with DM characterized by clearly visible wounds, usually on the soles of the feet, which can cause loss of sensation or nerve death. Factors affecting the incidence of UKD include lack of knowledge and implementation of foot care in patients with type 2 DM. Objective: Knowing the relationship between knowledge and foot care on the incidence of recurrent diabetic foot ulcers in patients with type 2 diabetes in RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. Methods: Quantitative research method with a cross sectional approach. In this study, the sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total of 51 respondents. Results: The results of the Spearman Rank test analysis showed a significant relationship between knowledge and foot care on the recurrence of diabetic foot ulcers. Knowledge has a moderate correlation (r = 0.371) and foot care has a strong correlation (r = 0.713).Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, the knowledge of respondents on the recurrence of UKD showed that 13.7% had good knowledge, 66.7% had sufficient knowledge and 2% had poor knowledge with the first ulcer. The implementation of foot care also showed that 17.6% had good implementation, 82.4% had sufficient implementation of foot care.

Abstract

Halusinasi merupakan gejala utama pada pasien skizofrenia yang berdampak pada fungsi sosial, emosional, dan kemandirian. Salah satu intervensi nonfarmakologis untuk mengurangi gejala ini adalah Terapi Aktivitas Kelompok dengan metode Emotion Recognition Game (Permainan Pengenalan Emosi), yang melatih pasien mengenali dan mengekspresikan emosi melalui permainan ekspresi wajah dalam suasana suportif. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Ruang Tenang Wanita Rumah Sakit Jiwa Sambang Lihum, Kalimantan Selatan, pada 11 Juli 2025 dengan melibatkan empat pasien perempuan penderita halusinasi yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Intervensi dilakukan dalam tiga sesi (masing-masing 30 menit) dan dievaluasi menggunakan lembar observasi delapan aspek, meliputi kebersihan diri, perilaku, kemampuan berbicara, kestabilan afek, pola pikir, kontrol halusinasi, pola tidur, dan pola makan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan skor pada semua aspek, dengan tiga pasien berpindah dari kategori total care atau partial care menuju tingkat kemandirian lebih tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa terapi dapat membantu mengalihkan fokus dari stimulus internal ke stimulus nyata, meningkatkan interaksi sosial, serta memperkuat kemandirian. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dan disarankan untuk diimplementasikan secara rutin sebagai strategi nonfarmakologis dalam rehabilitasi pasien halusinasi.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 is a metabolic disease characterized by an increase in blood glucose levels and can cause serious complications. In teenagers, one of the main triggering factors is a sedentary lifestyle, which is the habit of moving less and sitting more for a long time, such as playing gadgets, watching television, or using a computer. This condition lowers energy burning, increases fat accumulation, and triggers insulin resistance which plays a role in the occurrence of Diabetes Mellitus Type 2. This research aims to identify sedentary lifestyle with the risk of DM Type 2 in teenagers at SMPN 27 Banjarmasin. The research design uses quantitative descriptive with a cross-sectional approach, involving 44 selected respondents through purposive sampling. The instruments used are Adolescent Sedentary Activity Questionnaire and Finnish Diabetes Risk Score. The results of this study are that the majority of teenagers at SMPN 27 Banjarmasin have a high sedentary lifestyle (84.1%) and a moderate risk of DM Type 2 (72,7%), especially at the age of 15, with the main trigger factors of inactive lifestyle, excessive gadget use, unhealthy diet, and family history, so early prevention is required
