Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a serious public health problem. Hypertension has increased every year. Riskesdas data in 2018 reached prevalence (34.1%) in Indonesia and prevalence (44.1%) in South Kalimantan. One of the factors cause hypertension is lifestyle. Lack of the public knowledge about a healthy lifestyle leads to neglect of blood pressure control. This has the potential to cause complications in hypertensive patients. The effort that can be made to prevent and control hypertension are providing health education to hypertensive patients to maintain and improve healthy lifestyle. Objective: To analyze the Effectiveness of Health Education in hypertensive patients. Method: Narrative Review Research Design. The journal criteria used were filtered based on literature titles, abstracts and keywords, namely Health Education + hypertensive patients. Conclusion: Providing health education to hypertensive patients can control blood pressure. Relevant agencies including health offices, hospitals, health centers and health facilities are expected to increase hypertension patient knowledge regarding blood pressure control, for example reducing salt consumption, taking antihypertensive drugs and always checking blood pressure at the health center or other health workers. This can help patients to control their blood pressure.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: Multivitamins play an important role in the body to regulate activities in the body. One of the effects of taking excess multivitamins can cause poisoning or other adverse symptoms called hypervitaminosis. Objective: To find out what advers drug reactions occurred as a result and how many incidents of multivitamin use in children aged 5-11 years. Methods: This type of research uses descriptive observational with a cross sectional design. The research was conducted using the Naranjo algorithm, which distributes questionnaires online in the form of google from to social media and after being filled in by respondents, it will be sorted according to the inclusion criteria. Results: This study showed 36 samples that met the inclusion criteria, where demographic characteristics for the female gender were more dominant by 55.556%. Based on the age of respondents as much as 25% who consume multivitamins aged 11 years, and multivitamin type profiles that are widely used are curcuma plus 27,778%. The results of the Advers Drug Reaction incident were 5 respondents to Curcuma Plus, Imboost which caused abdominal pain by 2 respondents, and Muveron which caused nausea by 1 respondent. Based on the assessment with naranjo scores for respondents who experienced Advers Drug Reaction obtained 7 respondents in the Possible category and 1 respondent in the Probable category. one of the factors that influence such as how to consume it is not right. Conclusion: This study can conclude a causal description of the incidence of Advers Drug Reaction in respondents using multivitamins, 7 respondents in the Possible category and 1 respondent in the Probable category. Abstract

Abstract Background: Diabetic Foot Ulcer (DFU) is a microvascular complication in diabetes mellitus which allows it to be prevented through multidisciplinary collaboration that involves the active participation of patients, namely the application of self-care behavior. But unfortunately self-care behavior itself is still relatively low. Many studies have identified the relationship between knowledge and behavior to prevent LKD, but knowledge is not the only factor that influences this. Illness perceptions is a person's point of view that plays an important role in behavior and decision making. So, it is necessary to identify the dominant aspects of illness perceptions in DFU patients. Objective: This study aims to identify the dominant aspects of illness perceptions on LKD patients. Methods: This research design uses a descriptive quantitative method with data collection through a questionnaire survey. Results: This study used 43 samples after being identified there were 2 dominant aspects of illness perception in LKD patients, namely aspects of treatment control and coherence. Conclusion: The higher the patient's confidence in the treatment control and understanding of the disease, the better the foot care will be. Abstract

Background: Diabetes Mellitus is a group of metabolic diseases with characteristics of hyperglycemia (high blood sugar levels) that occur due to abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin action or both. Type 2 diabetes mellitus must always pay attention to lifestyle to stay healthy or by always paying attention to the 5 pillars of diabetes mellitus management, namely food, medicine, exercise, glycemic control, foot care and most importantly diet and diet to prevent an increase in blood sugar levels blood and avoid complications because many people still do not pay attention to diet and diet patterns. Objective: To find out the relationship between lifestyle and blood sugar levels of dm type 2 sufferers at UPT Puskesmas Terminal Banjarmasin Method: : This study uses quantitative methods and uses a cross sectional study approach. The number of samples as many as 73 people with putposive sampling technique. Result: Chi Square correlation test results with = 0,05. From the results of the Chi Square statistical test, a significant value of 0.441> 0.05 showed that there was no relationship between lifestyle and blood sugar levels in type 2 DM patients. Conclusion: Increased blood sugar levels are not only influenced by lifestyle but also influenced by other factors such as diet, smoking, foot care and diabetes self-care

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a disease characterized by high blood sugar levels due to the accumulation of unhealthy lifestyles since adolescence. Behavior including prevention and treatment of diabetes mellitus depends on adolescents' knowledge about diabetes so it needs to be studied. This study aims to describe knowledge about diabetes mellitus in adolescents in the working area of ​​Martapura 1 Health Center, Banjar Regency. This quantitative research with a descriptive analytical design was conducted on 30 adolescents in the working area of ​​Martapura 1 Health Center, Banjar Regency who were selected using purposive sampling techniques using questionnaires and analyzed using univariate techniques. The majority of respondents, 12 out of 30 (40%) were in the early adolescent age group (10-14 years) and the majority of respondents, 19 out of 30 (60%) were male. The majority of respondents, 17 out of 30 (56.7%) were identified as having insufficient knowledge about diabetes mellitus. Health education about diabetes mellitus in adolescents needs to be improved by utilizing digital media and peer approach methods.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a disorder of carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism characterized by hyperglycemia. Hyperglycemia can occur due to decreased insulin action. Diabetes Mellitus sufferers experience changes and imbalances in various aspects of their lives that interfere with daily activities, this condition can reduce the sufferer's quality of life. Pekauman Health Center Banjarmasin is the health center with the most cases of diabetes mellitus in Banjarmasin city with an increase from 111 patients in December 2023 to 137 patients in January 2024. This study aims to describe the quality of life of Diabetes Mellitus patients at the Pekauman Banjarmasin Community Health Center. This quantitative research with a descriptive analytical design was carried out on 48 patients suffering from Diabetes Mellitus who were selected using a purposive sampling technique using the EQ5D-5L questionnaire which was analyzed univariately. The majority of respondents were adults (72.9%), women (62.5%), had a BMI of Obesity I (37.5%), and suffered from Diabetes Mellitus ?1 year (60.4%). The quality of life of most Diabetes Mellitus sufferers is in the poor category (56.3%). The quality of life of Diabetes Mellitus patients is included in the poor category with the dominant symptom being anxiety. The poor quality of life in Diabetes Mellitus sufferers is related to the characteristics of the majority of respondents being women aged >50 years who have a BMI category of Obesity I and have suffered from DM for ?1 year. Abstract

Diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) are a complication in patients with DM characterized by clearly visible wounds, usually on the soles of the feet, which can cause loss of sensation or nerve death. Factors affecting the incidence of UKD include lack of knowledge and implementation of foot care in patients with type 2 DM. Objective: Knowing the relationship between knowledge and foot care on the incidence of recurrent diabetic foot ulcers in patients with type 2 diabetes in RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. Methods: Quantitative research method with a cross sectional approach. In this study, the sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total of 51 respondents. Results: The results of the Spearman Rank test analysis showed a significant relationship between knowledge and foot care on the recurrence of diabetic foot ulcers. Knowledge has a moderate correlation (r = 0.371) and foot care has a strong correlation (r = 0.713).Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, the knowledge of respondents on the recurrence of UKD showed that 13.7% had good knowledge, 66.7% had sufficient knowledge and 2% had poor knowledge with the first ulcer. The implementation of foot care also showed that 17.6% had good implementation, 82.4% had sufficient implementation of foot care.

Abstract

Masa remaja adalah masa transisi menuju dewasa yang ditandai perubahan fisik, psikologis, dan sosial. Pada fase ini rasa ingin tahu tentang seksualitas meningkat, namun kurangnya literasi kesehatan membuat remaja rentan terpapar pornografi dan perilaku berisiko, sehingga pemberian edukasi sangat penting. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman yang lebih baik kepada remaja tentang bahaya seks bebas dan dampaknya terhadap kesehatan. Penyuluhan dilakukan melalui ceramah dan diskusi secara interaktif tentang bahaya seks dan dampaknya.  Pre-test dan post-tes diberikan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan siswa/i. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta, yang di tununjukkan dengan  peningkatan sekor post-tes di banding pre-test. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa/i SMAN 4 Banjarmasin mengenai hubungan sehat dan pencegahaan seks bebas. Program ini tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan tetapi juga menumbuhkan sikap tanggung jawab, empati, dan kesadaran akan pentingnya pergaulan sehat pada remaja.
