Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of guidance and counseling (GC) services as part of Islamic educational supervision at SMK Syubbanul Wathon. Supervision in Islamic education encompasses not only academic and administrative aspects but also moral and spiritual development of students. The study employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis involving guidance counselors, school principals, and subject teachers. The findings reveal that GC services are well integrated into the school's supervision program, emphasizing Islamic approaches in guiding students through personal, social, and academic challenges. Guidance counselors play a strategic role in shaping student character based on Islamic and humanistic values. The school principal is also actively involved in supervising and supporting the implementation of GC services to create a religious and conducive school environment. This study shows that the integration of GC into Islamic educational supervision has a positive impact on students' character development and the overall learning climate. The novelty of this research lies in the systematic integration of guidance and counseling services within Islamic educational supervision at the vocational school level.

Abstract

Rendahnya tingkat literasi siswa di Indonesia masih menjadi tantangan serius dalam dunia pendidikan, yang salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh keterbatasan akses terhadap sumber bacaan dan pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah yang belum optimal. Penelitian pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk merevitalisasi perpustakaan di MI Ma’arif Al Huda Ngendrokilo sebagai upaya meningkatkan minat baca dan budaya literasi siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), yang menekankan pemanfaatan aset dan potensi sekolah serta dukungan masyarakat sekitar melalui lima tahap: discover, dream, design, deliver, dan destiny. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa revitalisasi perpustakaan mencakup pembersihan ruang, penataan koleksi, penyusunan sistem administrasi sederhana, serta penyediaan sarana motivasi membaca. Proses ini mendorong meningkatnya antusiasme siswa dalam memanfaatkan perpustakaan, meskipun kendala keterbatasan ruang masih menjadi tantangan utama. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pendampingan selama 10 hari, yang menghasilkan strategi keberlanjutan berupa penjadwalan kunjungan kelas, pembentukan tim literasi sekolah, dan pendampingan pengelolaan perpustakaan oleh guru serta siswa kelas VI. Dengan demikian, program revitalisasi perpustakaan berbasis metode ABCD terbukti mampu meningkatkan akses bacaan, menumbuhkan minat baca, serta memperkuat peran perpustakaan sebagai pusat literasi sekolah secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in digital learning innovations at SMP Syubbanul Wathon Tegalrejo. The study aims to evaluate how ICT can enhance educational practices, engage students, and improve learning outcomes. The methodology includes qualitative data collection through interviews with educators and students, as well as classroom observations. The results reveal that the integration of ICT in teaching methods significantly increases student motivation and participation. Various tools, such as online platforms and multimedia resources, are utilized to create a dynamic learning environment that caters to diverse learning styles. However, the study also identifies several challenges faced by the institution, including inadequate infrastructure, limited access to technology, and the necessity for ongoing professional development for teachers. Addressing these challenges is crucial for maximizing the benefits of ICT in education. The findings suggest that with proper training and resources, teachers can effectively harness ICT to facilitate collaborative learning and critical thinking among students. Furthermore, the research highlights the importance of continuous evaluation and adaptation of ICT strategies to meet the evolving needs of learners. In conclusion, the successful implementation of ICT in SMP Syubbanul Wathon Tegalrejo demonstrates its potential to transform traditional educational practices and foster an innovative learning culture.

Abstract

The success of learning in madrasahs heavily depends on effective classroom management. At Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Islam Sutopati 3, challenges were identified, including limited learning media, lack of teaching method variety, and classroom layouts that did not fully support active student participation. This community service program employed the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method to optimize the potential of teachers and school facilities. The program involved 5 teachers and 25 students from grades IV and V through structured classroom management assistance. Evaluation results showed a 40% increase in classroom management effectiveness, measured through student participation observation sheets. Furthermore, teacher creativity in designing simple learning media improved, creating a more interactive learning atmosphere. Asset-based classroom management optimization is proven to be a crucial strategy in building a creative learning ecosystem at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The rapid development of digital transformation in education requires curriculum innovations that integrate character development, 21st-century competencies, and the optimal use of technology to enhance the effectiveness of the learning process. This study aims to comprehensively examine the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL)-based curriculum innovation in strengthening the Profil Pelajar Pancasila in the era of digital transformation. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach conducted at one educational institution that has implemented the Kurikulum Merdeka. The research subjects consisted of teachers, eleventh-grade students, and the school curriculum development team. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation study. The obtained data were then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing conducted interactively. The findings indicate that PjBL-based curriculum innovation promotes a more participatory, collaborative, and contextual learning process. The integration of digital technology in project-based activities contributes to the improvement of students’ digital literacy, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The strengthening of critical thinking, creativity, collaboration (gotong royong), independence, and moral responsibility is reflected in students’ active engagement throughout each stage of the project. However, the implementation of PjBL still faces several challenges, including limited instructional time, teachers’ readiness in designing authentic projects, and variations in students’ levels of digital literacy. This study concludes that Project-Based Learning-based curriculum innovation represents a relevant strategy for strengthening character development and integrating 21st-century competencies in the context of ongoing digital transformation. ABSTRAK Perkembangan transformasi digital dalam dunia pendidikan menuntut inovasi kurikulum yang mampu mengintegrasikan penguatan karakter, kompetensi abad ke-21, serta optimalisasi teknologi dalam mendukung efektivitas proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara komprehensif penerapan inovasi kurikulum berbasis Project-Based Learning (PjBL) dalam memperkuat Profil Pelajar Pancasila pada era transformasi digital. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang dilaksanakan pada salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang telah mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru, peserta didik kelas XI, serta tim pengembang kurikulum sekolah. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan yang dilakukan secara interaktif. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa inovasi kurikulum berbasis PjBL dapat mendorong terciptanya proses pembelajaran yang lebih partisipatif, kolaboratif, dan kontekstual. Pengintegrasian teknologi digital dalam kegiatan proyek pembelajaran berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kemampuan literasi digital, kreativitas, serta keterampilan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. Penguatan dimensi bernalar kritis, kreatif, gotong royong, mandiri, serta tanggung jawab moral terlihat melalui keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam setiap tahapan proyek. Namun demikian, pelaksanaan PjBL masih dihadapkan pada sejumlah tantangan, antara lain keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran, kesiapan guru dalam merancang proyek yang autentik, serta perbedaan tingkat literasi digital di kalangan siswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa inovasi kurikulum berbasis Project-Based Learning merupakan strategi yang relevan dalam memperkuat karakter dan kompetensi abad ke-21 secara terpadu di tengah dinamika transformasi digital.
