Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of career development and training on personnel performance in the Kedung Halang Police Mobile Brigade Corps Pioneer Regiment I. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to 106 personnel as samples. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression to measure the relationship and influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The results of the study indicate that, in general, the implementation of the career development programme at the 1st Battalion of the Mobile Brigade Corps is in the moderate category with an average score of 3.29. Career development has a strong relationship with personnel performance, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.681 and a determination coefficient (R²) of 0.464, meaning that 46.4% of personnel performance variation is influenced by career development. Furthermore, the implementation of training is rated as good with an average score of 4.08. Training also has a strong relationship with personnel performance, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.596 and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.355, meaning that 35.5% of performance variation is influenced by training. Overall, personnel performance is in the moderate category with an average score of 3.47. The simultaneous influence of career development and training on personnel performance is indicated by a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.690, showing a strong relationship, and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.476, meaning that 47.6% of personnel performance is influenced by both variables together, while the remainder is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

                The study aims to determine the influence of service quality and therapeutic communication on outpatient satisfaction at Pabuaran Indah Public Health Center, Cibinong District, Bogor Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method, using data collection techniques including observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The sample consisted of all outpatient visitors during May–June 2024, 100 patients, selected using the census technique. The results show that the service quality is categorized as good, with an average score of 3.95. Service quality has a moderate relationship with patient satisfaction, indicated by a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.587 and a determination coefficient (R²) of 0.345, meaning that 34.5% of patient satisfaction is influenced by service quality. Therapeutic communication, also rated as good with an average score of 3.88, shows a strong relationship with patient satisfaction, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.744 and a determination coefficient (R²) of 0.553, indicating that 55.3% of patient satisfaction is influenced by therapeutic communication. Simultaneously, service quality and therapeutic communication have a strong relationship with patient satisfaction, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.709 and a determination coefficient (R²) of 0.509, meaning that both variables together influence 50.9% of patient satisfaction. In conclusion, service quality and therapeutic communication have a significant influence both partially and simultaneously on outpatient satisfaction at Pabuaran Indah Public Health Center.

Abstract

The performance of nurses in the Central Surgery Installation (Instalasi Bedah Sentral/IBS) is a crucial factor in ensuring the quality of healthcare services in hospitals. However, there is still a discrepancy between workload and the achievement of optimal performance, which is suspected to be related to competence and training effectiveness. This study aims to analyze the influence of competence and training on the performance of nurses in the Central Surgery Installation of Ciawi Regional Public Hospital (RSUD Ciawi), Bogor Regency. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. The population in this study consisted of all nurses in the IBS of RSUD Ciawi, totaling 150 individuals, with 100 respondents selected proportionally. Data collection was conducted through questionnaire distribution. Data analysis techniques included descriptive and inferential statistics using multiple regression, correlation, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that the nurses’ competence is generally categorized as very good, with a correlation coefficient (R) value of 0.608, indicating a strong relationship between competence and performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.370 indicates that 37% of the performance variation is influenced by competence. Furthermore, the training received by nurses is generally good and has a strong relationship with performance, with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.729 and a coefficient of determination (r²) of 0.532, meaning 53.2% of the performance variation is influenced by training. Simultaneously, competence and training have a strong and significant influence on performance, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.763 and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.582, indicating that 58.2% of the performance variation of IBS nurses at RSUD Ciawi is determined by these two variables. Therefore, continuous improvement of competence and training can serve as an important strategy to enhance nurse performance in the Central Surgery Installation of RSUD Ciawi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style and competence on the performance of finance department employees at RSUD Cibinong. The research employed a quantitative method with a population and sample of 40 employees. Data collection techniques included observation and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, multiple regression, multiple correlation, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that leadership style had a very strong relationship with performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.883 and a determination coefficient of 78%. The resulting regression equation was Y = 7.865 + 0.871X1, indicating a positive and significant influence of leadership style on performance. The t-test showed that the t-value was 3.340 > t-table 2.024, confirming the significance of this effect. Competence also had a strong relationship with performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.767 and a determination coefficient of 58.8%. The regression equation obtained was Y = 12.930 + 0.560X2. The t-test result showed a t-value of 11.386 > t-table 2.024, indicating that competence had a significant influence on performance. Simultaneously, leadership style and competence had a very strong relationship with performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.825 and a determination coefficient of 68%. The multiple regression equation was Y = 13.276 + 0.319X1 + 0.564X2. The F-test result showed that the F-value was 63.782 > F-table 3.25, indicating that both independent variables together had a significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

Improving the performance of health workers is a key focus in hospital management, especially amidst increasing demands for public health services. Ciawi Regional Public Hospital (RSUD) in Bogor Regency, as a referral health facility, faces challenges in maintaining service quality while dealing with limited human resources and high workloads. The phenomenon of heavy workloads and the need for servant leadership and a supportive organizational culture underlies the importance of this study. This research aims to analyze the influence of Servant Leadership and Organizational Culture on the Performance of Health Workers at Ciawi RSUD. The study uses a quantitative method with data collected through literature review and questionnaires distributed to respondents. The population in this study consists of 441 nurses at RSUD Ciawi, with a sample size of 110 nurses selected using proportional random sampling. Data were analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression, correlation analysis, and coefficient of determination. The results show that Servant Leadership has a moderate relationship with health worker performance, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.587 and a determination coefficient (R²) of 0.345, indicating that 34.5% of performance is influenced by Servant Leadership. Meanwhile, Organizational Culture shows a strong relationship with performance, with R = 0.744 and R² = 0.553, meaning 55.3% of performance is influenced by Organizational Culture. Simultaneously, Servant Leadership and Organizational Culture significantly affect health worker performance with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.782 and R² = 0.611, indicating that 61.1% of performance is jointly determined by these two variables, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

Abstract. Employee performance is a crucial determinant of the success of public organizations, including the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Depok City, which plays a strategic role in providing development data for government and society. In the context of modern bureaucracy, improving performance is not only determined by technical competence but also influenced by internal organizational factors such as organizational culture and employee commitment. This study aims to examine the effect of organizational culture and organizational commitment on employee performance at BPS Depok City. A quantitative method with a survey approach was employed, involving all 33 employees through a census technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, while the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance (t = 2.217; p = 0.034), as does organizational commitment (t = 2.921; p = 0.007). Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence performance (F = 30.238; p = 0.000) with a contribution of 62.1 percent. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening organizational culture and enhancing employee commitment to support bureaucratic effectiveness and improve the quality of public services at BPS Depok City. Kinerja pegawai merupakan salah satu faktor utama dalam menentukan keberhasilan organisasi publik, termasuk Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Depok yang memiliki peran strategis dalam menyediakan data pembangunan bagi pemerintah dan masyarakat. Dalam menghadapi tuntutan birokrasi modern, peningkatan kinerja tidak hanya bergantung pada aspek teknis, tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal organisasi seperti budaya organisasi dan komitmen pegawai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai BPS Kota Depok. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei sensus terhadap seluruh pegawai berjumlah 33 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan melalui regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai (t = 2,217; p = 0,034), demikian pula komitmen organisasi (t = 2,921; p = 0,007). Secara simultan, kedua variabel berpengaruh signifikan (F = 30,238; p = 0,000) dengan kontribusi 62,1 persen. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan budaya organisasi dan peningkatan komitmen pegawai untuk mendorong efektivitas birokrasi serta meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik di BPS Kota Depok.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the extent to which Leadership Style and Work Motivation affect the Performance of members of the Bogor Police Traffic Unit. Leadership style and motivation are important factors that can influence individual performance within an organization. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the extent of the Influence of Leadership Style and Work Motivation on the Performance of members of the Bogor Police Traffic Unit, both partially and simultaneously. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a descriptive and verification approach. The sample used consisted of 72 respondents, selected through random sampling. The data in this study were obtained from respondents' answers to a questionnaire distributed by the author. The results of the data analysis show that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on members' performance. Likewise, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance. Simultaneously, Leadership Style and Work Motivation affect the Performance of members of the Bogor Police Traffic Unit.
