Abstract

This community service aims to improve the knowledge and skills of Geography subject educators in Jayapura City in creating Android-based learning media. The activity was carried out through a workshop involving 16 educators and focused on the use of the Smart Apps Creator application as a tool for developing interactive learning media. The method used is the classical method which includes the stages of preparation, design, development, and simulation. The workshop was held at the community service partner school, namely SMA Muhammadiyah, Jayapura City. The results of the activity showed that participants experienced a significant increase in knowledge and skills, as evidenced by the results of the pretest and posttest with an average increase of 2.31 points. All participants succeeded in producing an Android-based learning media application that can be used directly in classroom learning. In addition to having a positive impact on improving the digital competence of educators, this activity also opens up opportunities for ongoing collaboration between universities and the teacher community. The conclusion of this activity is that a workshop that is designed practically and applicatively is able to provide a real contribution to the development of learning quality through the use of relevant and easily implemented digital technology in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept, practice, and implications of servant leadership within the context of educational management, as well as its impact on teachers’ performance and well-being. Using a qualitative approach with a library research method, this study explores theoretical frameworks and previous empirical findings related to servant leadership in educational institutions. The results indicate that servant leadership emphasizes service, empathy, empowerment, and personal growth as the core values of leadership. In educational settings, the implementation of servant leadership enhances teacher performance by fostering motivation, trust, and a positive organizational climate. Furthermore, this leadership style contributes to teachers’ psychological and professional well-being through emotional support, recognition, and empowerment of job resources. Theoretically, servant leadership acts as a catalyst linking value-based leadership with sustainable educational outcomes. Therefore, it is considered a relevant model for developing human-centered, collaborative, and service-oriented educational institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis hasil penelitian terkini tentang kepemimpinan inklusif dalam berbagai konteks pendidikan dan organisasi. Studi ini dilakukan melalui telaah terhadap lima belas artikel internasional yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2020 dan 2025. Analisis difokuskan pada dimensi kepemimpinan inklusif, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, dampaknya terhadap individu dan organisasi, serta peran nilai dan konteks sosial dalam membentuk praktik kepemimpinan inklusif. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sintesis tematik berdasarkan temuan masing-masing artikel. Ditemukan lima kategori fokus utama, yaitu: 1) dimensi dan faktor pendukung kepemimpinan inklusif, 2) dampak inklusivitas terhadap individu dan organisasi, 3) pengaruh nilai, budaya, dan konteks sosial, 4) implikasi terhadap kualitas pendidikan dan inovasi, serta 5) tantangan dan arah pengembangan ke depan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan inklusif terbukti dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan, inovasi, komitmen organisasi, dan kualitas pembelajaran. Namun, implementasinya masih dipengaruhi oleh konteks sosial, budaya patriarki, dan terbatasnya pelatihan kepemimpinan formal. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan inklusif bukan sekadar gaya manajerial, tetapi juga merupakan filosofi moral yang berorientasi pada keadilan, partisipasi, dan penghormatan terhadap keberagaman.

Abstract

This research aimed to get an idea of how academic supervision activities are implemented in learning at SMK Negeri 2 Business and Management, Jayapura based on a teaching factory in the Marketing Department. The resource persons in this research were the school principal, teaching factory field coordinator teacher majoring in marketing, the deputy principal for the curriculum department, and female students majoring in marketing. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach, through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The data obtained was analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results obtained from this research are that supervision activities have been carried out through class visits and work practice activities which have been carried out even though they have not been carried out on a scheduled basis and have only taken the form of monitoring. Apart from that, there is an assessment of student performance which the coordinator provides, there are efforts to develop learning programs by dividing block schedules and adjusting the curriculum according to industry needs, and there is feedback provided as input for improvements including transparency of profits from Esemkamart as well as monitoring of facilities and infrastructure, although there needs to be continuous improvement and more awareness regarding the implementation of occupational safety and health when carrying out the teaching factory learning process at SMK Negeri 2 Business and Management, Jayapura.
