Abstract

Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bayi pada usia enam bulan merupakan periode kritis yang sangat menentukan kualitas kesehatan dan kehidupan di masa mendatang. Salah satu stimulasi sederhana yang dapat mendukung proses ini adalah pijat bayi yang terbukti mampu merangsang sistem saraf, meningkatkan sirkulasi darah, dan memperkuat ikatan emosional ibu-anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pijat bayi terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bayi usia enam bulan. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan quasi-eksperimen dengan desain pre-test post-test with control group. Sampel terdiri dari 70 bayi sehat usia enam bulan yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen (n=35) yang menerima pijat bayi dua kali seminggu selama enam minggu dan kelompok kontrol (n=35) yang hanya mendapatkan perawatan rutin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada berat badan (median peningkatan 800 g vs 350 g; p=0,001) dan tinggi badan (median peningkatan 3,0 cm vs 1,2 cm; p=0,001) pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan kontrol. Selain itu, skor perkembangan motorik kasar, motorik halus, sosial, dan bahasa juga meningkat lebih tinggi secara bermakna pada kelompok eksperimen (p=0,001 untuk seluruh domain). Disimpulkan bahwa pijat bayi berpengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bayi usia enam bulan sehingga layak direkomendasikan sebagai intervensi stimulasi dini dalam program kesehatan anak.

Abstract

Hypertension occurs in approximately five to ten percent of pregnant women and is a complication that can lead to low birth weight and even death in babies. Cucumbers are known to contain 147 mg of potassium per 100 grams, and are involved in helping lower blood pressure. The study aimed to prove the effectiveness of cucumber juice in reducing blood pressure in pregnant women with hypertension. The study used a Control Group Pretest-Posttest design, with a sample size of 46 pregnant women with hypertension in pregnancy. The results of the statistical analysis showed a significant decrease in systolic blood pressure (p-value = 0.000 (<0.05) and diastolic blood pressure (p-value = 0.003 (<0.05). According to the study findings, cucumber juice administration had a significant effect on lowering blood pressure in pregnant women with hypertension. Therefore, health workers are advised to provide education on the benefits of consuming cucumbers as a natural way to help lower blood pressure in pregnant women with hypertension.

Abstract

In Indonesia, 41.8% of maternal deaths are caused by anemia during pregnancy. The prevalence of anemia in West Sumatra is 17.38%. In Padang City, the prevalence of anemia in Padang City is 43%. One of the factors that can cause anemia during pregnancy is diet. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between diet and Hb levels in pregnant women at the Anak Air Health Center in Padang City in 2025. The type of analytical research was cross-sectional design. The independent variable was diet and the dependent variable was Hb levels. The study population was 38 pregnant women in the first trimester. The sampling technique was Total Sampling. Data collection was by questionnaire and observation. The study was conducted in March 2025 at the Anak Air Health Center. Data processing and data analysis were carried out using the Chi Square test. The results showed that the frequency of respondents' Hb levels showed that some respondents experienced anemia, namely 16 people (57.9%). Respondents had poor diets, namely 17 people (44.7%). The statistical test results obtained a p-value of 0.010 (p-value <0.05), indicating a significant relationship between diet and hemoglobin levels. Diet affects hemoglobin levels in pregnant women. This study is expected to increase respondents' knowledge and insight, provide information for other researchers, and provide evaluation for Community Health Centers.
