Abstract

This study aims to identify the forms of starch in edible plants. This research involved several edible plants such as sago, yam and taro. This type of research uses descriptive quantitative methods by conducting experiments on each sample used. The data collection technique was carried out by describing the results of the starch form from each sample that had been obtained. The results obtained from this study showed that the Sago preparations viewed under a microscope had an oval starch shape and spread throughout the preparation so that it was classified as an eccentric starch type that could be seen at 10X magnification, while Jicama starch preparations had a round starch shape and chains in some parts. The plane of the preparation and entered in the concentric type, but the shape of starch in Jicama can be seen under a microscope at 100X magnification, the Taro preparation has a round and lumpy shape but the starch accumulates in several areas of the preparation and enters the concentric type seen at 40X magnification. So it can be concluded that the forms of starch in edible plants are very diverse, both in round to oval shapes, with smooth and rough starch structures, namely in the form of lumps.Keywords: Edible Plants, Starch Form

Abstract

Mangrove forest tourism is a form of tourism activity by traveling around the mangrove forest area and enjoying all the uniqueness contained in it. The choice of a tourist location as a tourist destination is greatly influenced by tourist preferences and ecotourism resources are closely related to attractiveness. Elements of attraction include natural beauty, the abundance of prominent resources, the uniqueness of natural resources, the integrity of natural resources, the choice of recreational activities, and the diversity of natural resources. The aims of this research are: determining tourist view preferences and determining tourist attraction resources at the Guraping mangrove ecotourism object, North Oba District, Tidore Islands City. The data collection process includes field observations, distributing questionnaires, interviews, tourist view preferences and potential tourism resources. The research results showed that the preference for tourist views of the Guraping mangrove tourist attraction was that the mangrove forest landscape obtained the highest SBE value, while the village landscape obtained the lowest SBE value. Potential ecotourism attraction resources that can be developed include mangrove forests with fauna/diversity, bays and beaches, fish ponds and villages with social culture.

Abstract

Pantai Berawe merupakan salah satu pantai yang terletak di Pulau Kampai. Kondisi pantai yang masih lumayan baik dan tergolong belum rusak menjadikan sepanjang pantai pulau kampai memiliki sumber daya alam kekayaan spesies hewan Filum invertebrata yang sangat banyak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjadi informasi mengenai kualitas dan kelimpahan fauna Pantai Berawe ditinjau dari keberadaan komunitas invertebrata. Peneltian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan desember 2023 di kawasan Pantai Berawe Kabupaten Langkat. Pengambilan data hewan invertebrata dilakukan dengan metode jelajah. Sampel hewan invertebrata pada setiap stasiun kemudian dihitung indeks keanekaragaman dan indeks kemerataan. ditemukan 7 spesies hewan invertebrata yaitu Donax cuenatus, Anadara granosa, Coenobita perlatus, Clibanarius vittatus, Scylla serrata, Lingula unguis, dan Harpiosquilla raphidea. Keanekaragaman pada ketiga stasiun berada pada kategori sedang karena bisa dibuktikan dari nilai H' yang lebih dari 1 yaitu 1,3750916 dan indeks kemerataan di dapatkan pada kategori komunitas tidak stabil karena nilai E lebih kecil dari 0,75 yaitu 0,7066573.

Abstract

Perairan Indonesia dinilai memiliki tingkat keragaman hayati (biodiversity) paling tinggi. Sumber daya ikan yang tinggi di perairan Indonesia harus juga dikelola dengan baik, maka dari itu di perlukan informasi tentang jenis-jenis ikan agar potensi sumber daya ikan tetap terjaga dan lestari,. Tujuan dari penelitian ialah untuk memperoleh informasi ilmiah tentang jenis-jenis ikan hasil tangkapan nelayan tradisional Desa Salahaji Kabupaten Langkat. Manfaat dari penelitian ini ialah memberikan informasi mengenai jenis-jenis dan morfologi ikan hasil tangkapan nelayan tradisional Desa Salahaji Kabupaten Langkat. Kegiatan sampling dilakukan dengan melakukan survei langsung di tempat pendaratan nelayan tradisional di Desa Salahaji Kabupaten Langkat. Jenis ikan yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tertinggi ialah ikan belanak, karna ikan tersebut sangat disukai oleh masyarakat untuk di konsumsi. Ikan yang memiliki nilai ekonomi terendah ialah ikan cucut, karena ikan tersebut tidak di gemari masyarakat untuk dikonsumsi.
