Abstract

Kematian merupakan kepastian bagi setiap manusia, sehingga keterampilan dalam pemulasaraan jenazah menjadi hal yang penting dikuasai oleh masyarakat. Namun, kenyataannya masih banyak masyarakat yang belum memahami tata cara pemulasaraan jenazah sesuai dengan syariat Islam. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam pemulasaraan jenazah melalui pelatihan yang bersifat teoritis dan praktis di dusun Gading Kidul, desa Purwogondo, kecamatan Boja, kabupaten Kendal. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah interaktif, demonstrasi langsung, serta praktik bersama peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai fiqih kematian dan keterampilan teknis dalam memandikan, mengkafani, menyalatkan, serta menguburkan jenazah. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini efektif sebagai bentuk implementasi pengabdian masyarakat sekaligus upaya pemberdayaan umat dalam menghadapi realitas kematian.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has an important role in shaping the character of students, especially in terms of discipline and responsibility. This study aims to analyze the strategies used by PAI teachers in instilling these values through value-based learning. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach in SMK Muhammadiyah 02 Boja. Data collection is carried out through observation and interviews. The results showed that the PAI teacher applied various strategies, such as exemplary, habituation, positive reinforcement, and reflection of values in learning activities. In addition, the integration of disciplinary values and responsibilities in teaching materials and experience-based learning activities is a key factor in the successful implementation of the character. Thus, value -based learning strategies can be an effective approach in shaping the character of students who are disciplined and responsible.

Abstract

The reality of religious diversity in modern society requires Islamic Religious Education (PAI) to develop learning models that foster inclusive, dialogical, and constructive religious understanding. This study aims to analyze the theological and pedagogical foundations of interfaith dialogue in PAI and to formulate a conceptual framework applicable to contemporary educational contexts. This research employs a library-based approach by reviewing primary and secondary literature related to Islamic theology, dialogical pedagogy, and discourses on religious plurality. The findings reveal that interfaith dialogue has strong legitimacy within Islamic teachings through the principles of ta‘āruf, justice, public good, and the recognition of diversity as part of divine design. Pedagogically, interfaith dialogue enhances critical thinking, empathy, cross-religious communication, and students’ resilience toward unfiltered religious information in the post-truth era. Moreover, teachers hold a central role as facilitators of dialogue, ethical role models, and guarantors of psychological safety in classrooms that respect differences. This study emphasizes the urgency of integrating interfaith dialogue into PAI curricula, teaching methods, and learning activities to shape Muslim learners who are peaceful, rational, and capable of living harmoniously in plural societies. These findings offer a conceptual contribution for developing a more humanistic and globally relevant PAI curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problems in instilling moral values (adab) among students at Kuttab Darul Ulum and the efforts made to address them. This research employed a qualitative approach using interviews with the school principal as the primary data source. The findings indicate that the cultivation of adab is the main focus of the educational process, aiming to develop students who are polite and well-mannered, particularly in their interactions with parents, teachers, and peers. The implementation is carried out through habituation, the application of standard operating procedures (SOP), and continuous guidance for students. However, several challenges were identified in the implementation process, including the lack of optimal role modeling by some teachers, the influence of family environments, and the impact of technological developments such as the use of gadgets and social media. To address these issues, the school has taken various measures, including providing educational guidance for teachers and establishing collaboration with parents through parenting programs. Although the effectiveness of these programs has not yet reached optimal levels, the findings show positive responses from parents regarding improvements in children’s behavior. This study concludes that the cultivation of adab requires collaboration among schools, teachers, and parents, as well as consistent and continuous efforts. Therefore, strengthening teacher role modeling, supervising the use of technology, and developing innovative learning strategies are necessary to improve the quality of moral education in the future. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis problematika penanaman adab santri di Kuttab Darul Ulum serta upaya yang dilakukan dalam mengatasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara dengan kepala sekolah sebagai sumber utama data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman adab menjadi fokus utama dalam proses pendidikan, dengan tujuan membentuk santri yang sopan dan beradab, khususnya kepada orang tua, guru, dan sesama teman. Implementasi dilakukan melalui pembiasaan, penerapan aturan (SOP), serta pembinaan terhadap santri. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya terdapat beberapa kendala, di antaranya kurang optimalnya keteladanan pengajar, pengaruh lingkungan keluarga, serta dampak perkembangan teknologi seperti penggunaan gadget dan media sosial. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, pihak sekolah melakukan berbagai upaya, seperti memberikan edukasi kepada guru dan menjalin kerja sama dengan orang tua melalui kegiatan parenting. Meskipun efektivitas program belum maksimal, hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya respons positif dari wali santri terhadap perubahan perilaku anak. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penanaman adab memerlukan kerja sama antara sekolah, guru, dan orang tua serta dilakukan secara konsisten dan berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penguatan keteladanan pendidik, pengawasan penggunaan teknologi, serta inovasi dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kualitas penanaman adab di masa mendatang.
