Abstract

This study aims to optimize production using linear programming with graphical and simplex methods accompanied by sensitivity analysis to determine the optimal product combination with maximum profit for the "Bawang Goreng Crispy Yuk Riris". The data are sales, inventory, use of raw and additional materials, operations, and selling prices. The data analysis technique uses linear programming, graphs and simplex methods, and sensitivity analysis with the help of QM for Windows. The result shows that production optimization using linear programming graphical methods or simple graphs obtains the same results as the optimal solution of producing 713 packs of original crispy fried shallot and 333 packs of spicy fried shallot with a maximum profit of IDR 3.304.500.Sensitivity analysis shows that the solution remains optimal with the tolerance limit for the original taste from 0 to 3.500 and the spicy taste from 3.000 to infinity, and five production inputs are not optimal.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKuota pelatihan gratis yang diberikan UPN Veteran Jawa Timur hanya memenuhi 1,11 % dari keseluruhan mahasiswa. Pelatihan TOEFL ini memberikan solusi bagi mahasiswa tingkat akhir dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan TOEFL untuk memenuhi standarisasi syarat kelulusan di UPN Veteran Jawa Timur. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk memenuhi kebutuhan mahasiswa agar mendapatkan strategi, trik dan ketrampilan dalam mengerjakan soal tes TOEFL. Metode pengabdian ini yaitu pelatihan sebagai proses pembelajaran dan praktik partisipatif (Participatory Learning and Action). Pelaksanaan pelatihan TOEFL online ini melalui tahapan pengantar TOEFL dan pre-test; ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan latihan soal; serta post-test. Hasil adanya pelatihan ini pengetahuan dan pemahaman tes TOEFL peserta semakin meningkat terlihat dari hasil skor TOEFL post-test lebih baik dibanding dengan skor TOEFL pre-test. Secara keseluruhan 50% peserta pelatihan sudah memperoleh skor TOEFL sesuai standar kelulusan dari yang semula hanya sebesar 32%. Hasil rata-rata skor TOEFL saat pre-test sebesar 381 meningkat signifikan menjadi 462 saat post-test. Kata kunci: pelatihan; TOEFL; mahasiswa tingkat akhir. ABSTRACTThe free training quota provided by UPN Veteran Jawa Timur only fulfills 1.11% of the total students. This TOEFL training offers a solution for final-year students to improve their TOEFL knowledge and skill to standardize graduation requirements at UPN Veteran Jawa Timur. This community service aims to help students get strategies, tricks, and skills for the TOEFL test. The method used in this service is training as a learning process and participatory practice (Participatory Learning and Action). This online TOEFL training is implemented through the introductory of TOEFL and pre-test stages; lectures, discussions, questions and answers, exercises; and post-test. The result of this training was that participants' knowledge and understanding of the TOEFL test increased, as seen from the post-test TOEFL scores, which were better than the pre-test TOEFL scores. 50% of the trainees obtained a TOEFL score according to the passing standard, from the original 32%. The average TOEFL score during the pre-test was 381, which increased significantly to 462 during the post-test. Keywords: training; TOEFL; final year students.

Abstract

The need for salt in Indonesia continues to increase yearly, but the performance of salt production in Indonesia has not been able to meet the targets set in the 2015-2019 KKP strategic plan. This study aims to properly obtain time series forecasting methods and estimates of the amount of national salt production in 2022 to find out Indonesia’s needs of salt. The data are the 2012-2021 Directorate General KP3K/PRL performance report, 2012-2021 KKP performance and annual reports, and the 2020-2024 KKP strategic plan. Forecasting analysis techniques use naive methods, moving averages, weighted moving averages, exponential smoothing, exponential smoothing with trend, and trend analysis using POM-QM for Windows 3. The results show that the selected forecasting method predicts the amount of national salt productions are trend analysis with total production in 2022 of 1,277,392 tons because it has the smallest MAD, MSE, and MAPE forecasting errors compared to other methods, so that the results of this forecasting can be used for policy design in the future.

Abstract

In anticipation of Indonesia Emas 2045, the President of the Republic of Indonesia instructed the formation of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative, which aims to be an economic driver in achieving economic independence and food self-sufficiency. This research aims to analyze the policy for establishing the Merah Putih Village Cooperative. The method used is a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), which is employed to assess the success rate of the policy. This research utilizes secondary data, including government policies outlined in the Constitution, Presidential Instructions, Government Regulations, and data or information published in both print and online media. The results of this study indicate that Koperasi Merah Putih has strengths that can overcome weaknesses and threats, and capitalize on opportunities for the success of Koperasi Desa Merah Putih. Meanwhile, the conclusion of this study states that the establishment of the Merah Putih Cooperative is a strategic step that can accelerate the pace of Indonesia's economic growth. This policy is essential for improving the living standards of rural communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of complaint behavior on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, as well as the mediating role of customer satisfaction among TikTok Shop users. The research employs a quantitative approach using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method through the SmartPLS version 4 application. Based on the test results, it was found that complaint behavior has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, complaint behavior also has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. In addition, customer satisfaction has been proven to have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. The mediation analysis results show that customer satisfaction significantly mediates the effect of complaint behavior on customer loyalty indicating an indirect-only mediation effect. These findings emphasize that enhancing customer satisfaction on TikTok Shop can strengthen the relationship between complaint behavior and customer loyalty. Therefore, TikTok Shop needs to improve the quality of its complaint-handling processes to enhance satisfaction and maintain user loyalty sustainably. Keywords: Complaint Behavior, Customer Satisfaction, Customer Loyalty, TikTok Shop     Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh complain behavior terhadap customer satisfaction dan customer loyalty, serta peran mediasi customer satisfaction pada pengguna TikTok Shop. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, diperoleh bahwa complain behavior berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap customer satisfaction Selanjutnya, customer satisfaction terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Hasil analisis mediasi menunjukkan bahwa customer satisfaction mampu memediasi pengaruh complain behavior terhadap customer loyalty secara signifikan yang menunjukkan adanya efek indirect-only mediation. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa peningkatan kepuasan pelanggan TikTok Shop dapat memperkuat hubungan antara perilaku komplain dan loyalitas pelanggan. Oleh karena itu, TikTok Shop perlu meningkatkan kualitas penanganan keluhan pelanggan untuk memperkuat kepuasan serta mempertahankan loyalitas pengguna secara berkelanjutan.   Kata kunci: Complain Behavior, Customer Satisfaction, Customer Loyalty, TikTok Shop,

Abstract

This study attempts to map the business models of construction service SMEs to recommend new business model formulations that are relevant to the company's needs and challenges. This research maps the existing business models of companies, then analyzes their environmental conditions so that relevant strategies can be recommended and are expected to contribute to business development. This research was conducted using descriptive analysis, mapping the company's business model using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach and a SWOT analysis. A cross-analysis used to formulate a new business model. The study results show that companies need to offer value propositions that are difficult for competitors to replicate, rather than relying solely on low prices. Furthermore, companies are also required to leverage online promotions to reach a wider customer segment. Internal training and certification can be implemented to enhance service delivery and implement continuous improvement across the company. The company's customer base is still relatively young, so additional promotional efforts are needed to expand its market segment, including through social media. The new business model suggests the company should further improve the quality of its work through internal training, certification, and collaboration with relevant parties. This research offers new insights into the business models of construction service companies to develop and strengthen their presence in the industry. It is hoped that the formulation of this business model will provide stakeholders with diverse perspectives for policymaking and contribute to a more comprehensive literature.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance writing skills through community-based training and mentoring, with the goal of strengthening the soft skills of outstanding youth and contributing to transformative efforts within Indonesia’s education system. The methods applied in this program include Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) and Participatory Learning and Action (PLA). The evaluation instrument consisted of questionnaires analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results of this program demonstrated significant benefits. Participants in the writing class expressed high appreciation for both the learning materials and the mentors’ attitudes, scoring 9 out of 10, while the level of interactivity reached a perfect score of 10. Mentor feedback also contributed to the success of participants, one of whom achieved recognition in the Top 30 National Essay Competition. This activity successfully improved participants’ writing soft skills and played a role in fostering excellent young individuals, indicating that education can indeed be transformed through collaborative and participatory efforts.
