Abstract

Fenomena meningkatnya stres dan kecemasan belajar di kalangan siswa, yang berakar pada tuntutan akademik tinggi, kompetisi ketat, dan kurangnya dukungan psikologis, berdampak buruk pada performa akademik dan kesehatan mental siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan strategi holistik untuk mengatasi masalah ini melalui integrasi perspektif Psikologi Pendidikan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka (library research) kualitatif, dengan menganalisis dan mensintesis literatur ilmiah yang relevan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menguatkan bahwa stres adalah fenomena multidimensi yang membutuhkan solusi integratif. Strategi dari Psikologi Pendidikan meliputi pelatihan self-regulated learning, growth mindset, dan konseling. Sementara itu, Pendidikan Islam berkontribusi melalui penguatan nilai keimanan (tawakal, sabar, syukur), ibadah (shalat, dzikir), dan pembentukan ketenangan batin (spiritual well-being). Integrasi kedua pendekatan ini menciptakan model yang lebih kuat, di mana keterampilan kognitif dan ketahanan spiritual bersinergi, sehingga siswa menjadi lebih resilien dalam menghadapi tekanan. Pendekatan terpadu ini penting untuk mencapai keseimbangan antara kesejahteraan mental dan spiritual siswa.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of psychological diagnostic evaluation and spiritual domains within Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as a foundation for developing students’ holistic character. The research aims to analyze the conceptual meaning and functions of evaluation from the perspective of educational psychology, describe the integration of affective–spiritual assessment in PAI, and identify the application of key evaluation principles, including objectivity, validity, and reliability. This study employs a qualitative literature review design through descriptive–analytical content analysis. Data were obtained from primary documents and secondary sources such as academic books and accredited journals published between 2020–2025. The findings reveal that psychological diagnostic evaluation plays a crucial role in identifying students’ potential, learning barriers, and specific psychological needs. Meanwhile, the spiritual domain—positioned as the highest level of the affective taxonomy—supports the formation of moral consciousness, emotional regulation, and sense of purpose. The study also highlights methodological challenges in assessing non-cognitive domains and emphasizes the use of multiple techniques, such as observation, attitude scales, and reflective journals, to strengthen evaluation validity and objectivity. Overall, the integration of psychological and spiritual evaluation is essential for designing adaptive PAI learning that supports comprehensive character development. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengkaji integrasi evaluasi psikologis yang bersifat diagnostik dengan penilaian ranah spiritual dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) sebagai dasar pengembangan karakter holistik peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis makna dan fungsi evaluasi dari perspektif psikologi pendidikan, menggambarkan integrasi penilaian afektif–spiritual dalam pembelajaran PAI, serta menjelaskan penerapan prinsip objektivitas, validitas, dan reliabilitas dalam evaluasi non-kognitif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi literatur melalui analisis isi deskriptif-analitis. Data diperoleh dari dokumen primer dan literatur sekunder berupa buku akademik dan jurnal terakreditasi yang terbit pada rentang 2020–2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi diagnostik psikologis berperan penting dalam mengidentifikasi potensi, hambatan, dan kebutuhan belajar individu. Sementara itu, ranah spiritual—sebagai tingkat tertinggi ranah afektif—berkontribusi pada pembentukan kesadaran moral, pengelolaan emosi, serta pengembangan tujuan hidup yang bermakna. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa penilaian ranah afektif dan spiritual memiliki tantangan metodologis, sehingga diperlukan teknik non-tes yang beragam, seperti observasi, skala sikap, dan jurnal refleksi, untuk meningkatkan akurasi dan objektivitas. Secara keseluruhan, integrasi evaluasi psikologis dan spiritual menjadi kunci dalam merancang pembelajaran PAI yang adaptif dan berorientasi pada pembentukan karakter secara komprehensif.

Abstract

This journal discusses a critique of secular Western scientific thought, which views knowledge as value-neutral and recognizes truth only based on empirical observation. This perspective has influenced Islamic education in Indonesia, particularly by creating a division between religious knowledge and general knowledge. This problem is evident in the secondary-level Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum, which applies a purely procedural learning approach, thereby failing to fully support the holistic character development of students in accordance with Islamic teachings. This study aims to develop a model for renewing Islamic scientific thinking that can be practically applied to address the influence of secularism in education. The research adopts a qualitative approach through library research. Data are analyzed by interpreting Islamic sources, comparing them with Western modes of thought, and synthesizing them into educational concepts aligned with Islamic values. The results show that the renewal of Islamic scientific thinking must be grounded in Tawhid as the primary foundation, integrating revelation, reason, and empirical experience in the learning process. The proposed model is a Tawhid-based spiral curriculum that connects Islamic Religious Education with general sciences, along with an assessment system that measures not only knowledge but also students’ attitudes and spiritual development through teacher observation, self-reflection, and peer assessment. In conclusion, renewing Islamic scientific thinking is essential for producing knowledge that is beneficial, ethical, and aligned with the core objectives of Islamic teachings.
