Abstract

Pemanfaatan lahan yang terbatas menghasilkan desain bangunan/gedung yang tak beraturan. Bangunan/gedung tak beraturan akan memiliki perilaku serta kinerja tersendiri dalam menerima beban. Karena itu diperlukan sistem struktur dinding geser dalam memerima beban gempa. Posisi dinding geser yang tepat akan menghasilkan perilaku dan kinerja yang ideal bagi struktur. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menentukan posisi dinding geser yang ideal dalam menerima bebaan gempa. Metode penelitian ini adalah studi numerik dengan analisis pushover menggunaka program ETABS V 16. Terdapat satu model tanpa dinding geser dan lima model dengan posisi dinding geser yang berbeda-beda. Layout model penelitian ini berbentuk L berlokasi di Kota Padang dengan kondisi tanah sedang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan posisi dinding geser model 1 yang berada pada ujung bangunan memiliki perilaku yang ideal dalam menerima beban gempa berdasarkan pengecekan persyaratan SNI 1726 2019 dan memiliki tingkat kinerja kategori damage control berdasarkan ATC-40 1996 yang berarti bahwa bangunan mengalami kerusakan tetapi tidak diperkenankan mengalami keruntuhan yang menyebabkan korban jiwa manusia (resiko korban jiwa sangat rendah).

Abstract

The issuance of Permendikbudristek Number 53 of 2023 marks a paradigm shift in higher education quality assurance from a compliance-based approach to an outcome-based approach. Although it provides greater flexibility and autonomy, this policy also poses challenges in the form of differences in regulatory interpretation, inconsistencies in standards, and the persistent perception that the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) is an administrative burden, especially for universities that are not yet ready to adapt. This community service activity aims to assist the Mitra Gama Institute of Technology (ITMG) in responding to the transition of quality assurance policies in a strategic and applicable manner. The implementation method used a Participatory Action Learning approach, which included an analysis of gaps in SPMI implementation, dissemination of policy perceptions, technical workshops on updating SPMI documents, and internal quality audit simulations to ensure the implementation of the PPEPP cycle. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of the concept of output-based quality assurance. The percentage of participants who understood the difference between compliance-based and outcome-based approaches increased from 35% before the activity to 90% after the dissemination and workshop. In addition, the perception that the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) was an administrative burden decreased dramatically, from 65% before the activity to 10% after the activity. These findings were reinforced by the increased ability of the quality team to close the PPEPP cycle through the formulation of concrete and measurable corrective actions. Overall, this activity was effective in strengthening the foundation of an adaptive, outcome-oriented internal quality assurance system that supports continuous quality improvement at ITMG.

Abstract

Proyek konstruksi yang dilaksanakan di lingkungan kampus aktif memerlukan perhatian khusus terhadap penerapan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) karena tingginya potensi risiko kecelakaan kerja yang dapat membahayakan pekerja maupun sivitas akademika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan K3 pada pembangunan Gedung Teknik Sipil Institut Teknologi Mitra Gama (ITMG). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif melalui observasi langsung di lapangan serta studi literatur berdasarkan peraturan K3 yang berlaku. Penilaian dilakukan terhadap beberapa aspek K3, meliputi penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD), ketersediaan rambu-rambu keselamatan, kondisi area kerja, pengawasan K3, dan dokumentasi K3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat penerapan K3 pada proyek pembangunan Gedung Teknik Sipil ITMG mencapai 53%, yang berada pada kategori kurang. Meskipun penggunaan APD oleh pekerja tergolong cukup baik, tidak ditemukannya rambu-rambu keselamatan di area proyek menjadi faktor utama rendahnya tingkat penerapan K3. Selain itu, keterbatasan pengawasan dan dokumentasi K3 turut memengaruhi kinerja keselamatan kerja. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan penerapan K3 melalui pemasangan rambu keselamatan, penguatan pengawasan, serta perbaikan sistem dokumentasi K3 sangat diperlukan untuk meminimalkan risiko kecelakaan kerja dan mendukung keberhasilan proyek konstruksi di lingkungan kampus.

Abstract

Field Work Practice (PKL) serves to bridge the gap between the competencies taught in higher education and the actual needs of the business and industrial sectors (DU/DI). However, the effectiveness of PKL is often hindered by a focus on administrative guidance alone. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to enhance the capacity of Field Supervisors (DPL) at the Mitra Gama Institute of Technology (ITMG) as the internal target audience. The activity was held on May 1–3, 2025, in the ITMG Auditorium for a duration of 24 instructional hours, involving 30 active faculty members at Mitra Gama Institute of Technology who were selected based on specific inclusion criteria. The implementation methods included technical guidance, focus group discussions (FGDs), and workshops. The activity was evaluated using a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design through structured questionnaires, as well as an analysis of the feasibility of the Follow-Up Action Plan (RTL) documents. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and content analysis. The results of the program showed an increase in participants’ cognitive knowledge and managerial readiness, as evidenced by a 38% increase in the average post-test score compared to the pre-test score. In addition, the program successfully facilitated the preparation of 30 independent Action Plan (RTL) documents and produced an institutional output in the form of a draft proposal for restructuring the internship evaluation rubric with a 50:50 ratio.

Abstract

Peningkatan aktivitas transportasi di Kota Padang yang diikuti pertumbuhan jumlah kendaraan menimbulkan tantangan dalam pengelolaan lalu lintas, sehingga diperlukan sistem transportasi yang lebih efektif, efisien, dan berkelanjutan. ITS merupakan solusi manajemen transportasi menggunakan teknologi intelijen untuk integrasi antar jaringan jalan, moda sistem transportasi, dan pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi implementasi ITS di Kota Padang serta menganalisis pengaruh tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat dan implementasi ITS terhadap manfaat ekonomi dan dampak lingkungan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif cross-sectional dan dianalisis menggunakan PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan ITS berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap manfaat ekonomi dan dampak lingkungan, sedangkan implementasi ITS berpengaruh negatif namun signifikan, sehingga diperlukan peningkatan efektivitas implementasi dan pemanfaatan ITS. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan manfaat ITS tidak hanya bergantung pada penyediaan teknologi, tetapi juga pada efektivitas implementasi, integrasi sistem, kualitas layanan, dan integrasi sistem transportasi.

Abstract

The Reinforced Concrete course at Institut Teknologi Mitra Gama faces a gap between theoretical understanding and its application in the field. Meanwhile, the construction of the Civil Engineering Building requires improved supervision. This Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) aimed to improve students’ competence in understanding the application of theory in the field while supporting the project supervision process through the integration of theoretical learning and field practice. The activity was conducted at the Civil Engineering Building Construction Project of Institut Teknologi Mitra Gama on January 13, 20, and 27, 2026, involving 28 students. The activity consisted of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed that the students’ total average score increased from 53 to 83, representing an improvement of 56.6%, while the standard deviation decreased from 15 to 7. Observation results indicated that students’ discussion activity and teamwork were categorized as very good, while their ability to identify structural conditions and relate theory to field conditions was categorized as good. Evaluations from both the contractor and field supervisor produced an average score of 3.00, categorized as good. These findings indicate that integrating theoretical learning with field practice is effective in improving students’ competencies while providing benefits to project partners in supporting construction supervision.
