Abstract

Intellectual property rights are an important part of intellectual property rights that have a very wide scope of objects. In the era of economic globalization, intellectual property is becoming increasingly important as competition between companies and individuals around the world intensifies. However, there are also challenges that arise in the form of violations of Intellectual Property Rights that pose a serious threat to rights holders. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the legal protection of intellectual Property Rights in the context of economic internationalization. The data collection technique used is a literature study, where relevant data is collected from various related literature sources. Finally, conclusions are drawn to identify important findings from the data analysis that has been carried out. This study can help strengthen theoretical foundations about the role of law in protecting innovation, artwork, and intellectual creation in an ever-changing global economy. This research can also open the door for further research to understand how legal regulation can accommodate rapid and complex global economic developments, as well as foster innovation and inclusive economic sustainability.

Abstract

Usaha Menengah Kecil Mikro (UMKM) memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam ekonomi Indonesia, baik dalam hal menciptakan lapangan kerja maupun jumlah usaha yang ada. Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pelaku UMKM adalah masalah legalitas usaha. Legalitas usaha merupakan salah satu syarat yang harus dipenuhi oleh pelaku usaha untuk mendapatkan berbagai kemudahan dan fasilitas dari pemerintah, seperti perizinan, perpajakan, bantuan modal, bantuan hukum, perlindungan konsumen, dan lain-lain. Jumlah pelaku UMKM yang dijadikan sampel sebanyak 20 responden dengan beberapa jenis usaha. Metode yang dilakukan dengan memberikan seminar mengenai pentingnya NIB dan pembuatan NIB secara langsung. Para pelaku UMKM dibimbing oleh mahasiswa yang sebelumnya para mahasiswa diberikan pembinaan mengenai pendaftaran NIB oleh dinas UMKM.  Hasil ; Program pemberdayaan UMKM ini diawali dengan dilakukannya seminar untuk sosialisasi terhadap pelaku UMKM di Kelurahan Watubelah yang diikuti dengan antusias oleh para pelaku UMKM. kemudian banyak faktor kendala yang dihadapi masyarakat mengenai pembuatan Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB). Faktor tersebut seperti ketidaktahuan mengenai NIB, khawatir ada biaya terkait pendaftarannya, dan kesibukan sehari – hari mereka saat berjualan. Oleh karena itu, banyak pelaku UMKM yang sudah lama beroperasi masih belum memiliki Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB).
