Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of local wisdom-based learning in increasing students' civic awareness at SMAN 1 Sungai Tarab. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that learning has been implemented through cultural projects, traditional games, and mutual cooperation, which are related to civic values. Teachers play a strategic role in linking subject matter with local wisdom and encouraging active student involvement. Supporting factors for successful implementation include the Merdeka Curriculum policy and student enthusiasm. However, limited resources and difficulties in affective assessment are obstacles. In conclusion, local wisdom-based learning has proven effective in increasing students' civic awareness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the function of mamak in the implementation of adat, identify the challenges and obstacles faced by mamak, and analyze how mamak maintain Minangkabau cultural values and traditions amidst social change. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Informants included mamak as customary leaders and nephews as subjects who receive the influence of mamak's functions. The results show that the role of mamak in the economic, educational, religious, and customary fields has declined. Many mamak are no longer active in guiding their nephews due to personal busyness, limited distance, and the influence of modernization. Nevertheless, some mamak still maintain their customary role in ceremonies and family decision-making. However, the influence of biological fathers is now more dominant than that of mamak in the lives of their nephews and nieces. The discussion indicates that this shift in roles is a result of rapid sociocultural changes, including increased formal education, migration, and the use of technology. To maintain adat, a revitalization of the role of mamak is needed through a contextual and adaptive approach to current developments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran tokoh adat Tungku Tigo Sajarangan dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai Pancasila pada anak usia 7–13 tahun di Nagari Anduriang, Kecamatan 2x11 Kayu Tanam, serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri dari niniak mamak, alim ulama, cadiak pandai, guru, orang tua, dan anak-anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa internalisasi nilai Pancasila berlangsung melalui keteladanan, pembiasaan, penguatan nilai, serta interaksi sosial oleh tokoh adat, keluarga, guru, dan masyarakat. Keterlibatan anak dalam kegiatan adat, sosial, dan keagamaan belum merata karena dipengaruhi lingkungan terdekat, serta lebih efektif apabila dilakukan dengan pendekatan partisipatif sesuai tahap perkembangan anak. Faktor pendukung antara lain keteladanan tokoh adat, dukungan orang tua, guru, serta forum sosial-keagamaan dan adat. Sedangkan faktor penghambat meliputi dominasi gawai, minimnya ruang edukatif, dan lemahnya sinergi antara sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat. Simpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan internalisasi nilai Pancasila membutuhkan pembiasaan nyata, keteladanan konsisten, dan dukungan ruang sosial yang kondusif. Tanpa sinergi lintas elemen, nilai Pancasila berisiko sekadar menjadi jargon, sementara generasi muda kehilangan arah pembinaan karakter berbasis adat dan budaya lokal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the shifting cultural values and traditions of the Tingkeban ceremony among the Javanese community in Nagari Padang Canduh, Kinali District, West Pasaman Regency. Such shifts are influenced by modernization, globalization, socio-economic changes, and intergenerational differences in perception. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Informants included traditional birth attendants (dukun bayi), local community members, and the younger generation. The findings reveal that the Tingkeban ceremony, once rich in values of mutual cooperation, simplicity, spirituality, and respect, has undergone significant transformation. Traditional values have shifted toward individualism, materialism, and consumerism. Moreover, the younger generation’s understanding of the symbolic meanings of Tingkeban has declined, leading to the simplification of rituals. The main contributing factors to this shift include the influence of globalization, rapid technological development, and the community’s economic realities. Nevertheless, the younger generation holds great potential to revitalize and innovate the tradition to maintain its relevance. This study emphasizes that preserving the Tingkeban tradition is essential not only for safeguarding cultural heritage but also for strengthening the cultural identity and selfhood of the Javanese community in the face of modernization. Revitalization efforts through education, the role of cultural leaders, and the creativity of the younger generation are crucial to ensuring that the tradition endures. Abstract

Pendidikan abad ke-21 menuntut inovasi pembelajaran yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada aspek kognitif, tetapi juga penguatan karakter dan keterampilan abad 21. Salah satu wujud implementasi kurikulum merdeka adalah Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) yang bertujuan membentuk karakter peserta didik sesuai nilai-nilai Pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi model Project Based Learning (PJBL) dalam kegiatan P5 di SMA Negeri 4 Solok, meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, serta hambatan dan strategi yang ditempuh guru maupun siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri atas reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PJBL dalam kegiatan P5 di SMA N 4 Solok terlaksana dengan cukup baik. Guru menyusun modul projek, memanfaatkan media pembelajaran yang relevan, serta menyusun instrumen evaluasi yang sesuai. Siswa terlibat aktif dalam setiap tahap kegiatan, mulai dari eksplorasi budaya lokal, perancangan proyek, praktik lapangan, hingga presentasi hasil berupa produk nyata. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan waktu, kurangnya pemahaman guru terkait konsep P5 berbasis PjBL, serta sarana pendukung yang belum optimal. Meski demikian, strategi berupa kolaborasi guru, penyesuaian jadwal, serta bimbingan intensif mampu menjadi solusi. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan PJBL dalam kegiatan P5 dengan tema kearifan lokal di SMA N 4 Solok efektif meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi, kreativitas, kemandirian, serta kecintaan siswa terhadap budaya lokal. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa PJBL dapat menjadi pendekatan yang tepat dalam mewujudkan dimensi Profil Pelajar Pancasila, meskipun masih membutuhkan peningkatan dalam aspek sosialisasi, manajemen waktu, dan penyediaan fasilitas.
