Abstract

Indonesia people generally consume boiled water of herbal plants to prevent or treat various diseases. To make it easier for people to consume herbal plants, one of which is in the form of tea. How to consume tea is very easy and practical, just by brewing it with hot water. The purpose of this research was to identify secondary metabolites contained in soursop leaf tea and to determine the characteristics of soursop leaf tea which included organoleptic tests, water content tests and ash content tests. This research is a true experiment in the laboratory. The results showed that the characteristics of soursop leaf tea (Annona muricata L) include organoleptic, soursop leaf tea has a brownish green color, powder form and has a soursop leaf aroma. The soursop leaves have water content and ash content respectively are 1.111% and 0.6444%. Soursop leaf tea positively contains secondary metabolites, namely flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins and saponins

Abstract

ABSTRAK Menerapkan gaya hidup sehat bisa membantu kita menikmati lebih banyak aspek kehidupan. salah satunya adalah kegiatan mencuci tangan, atau menggunakan hand sanitizer yang sangat berguna untuk mencegah penyebaran penyakit melalui tangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah lidah buaya segar (Aloe vera L.) dapat diformulasikan ke dalam bentuk sediaan gel antiseptik tangan (hand sanitizer). Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental dilakukan di Laboratorium Program Studi Farmasi Program Sarjana Fakultas Kesehatan Universitas Aufa Royhan kota Padangsidimpuan. Data yang diperoleh dari uji organoleptis, homogenitas, daya sebar, pH, uji iritasi dan uji kesukaan disajikan dalam tabel kemudian dilalukan analisa data secara deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa lidah buaya segar (Aloe vera L.) dapat diformulasikan ke dalam bentuk sediaan gel antiseptik tangan (hand sanitizer) pada konsentrasi 10 %, 15 %, dan 20 %. Berdasarkan hasil uji hedonis formulasi sediaan gel hand sanitizer lidah buaya segar (Aloe vera L) pada konsentrasi 20 % lebih banyak diminati oleh responden. Kata Kunci : aloe vera (lidah buaya), handsanitizer gel, antiseptik, formulasi. ABSTRACT Adopting a healthy lifestyle can help us enjoy more aspects of life. One of them is washing hands, or using a hand sanitizer which is very useful to prevent the spread of disease through hands. This study aims to determine whether fresh aloe vera (Aloe vera L.) can be formulated into hand sanitizer gel. This experimental research was conducted at the Laboratory of Pharmacy Study Program, Undergraduate Program, Faculty of Health, Aufa Royhan University, Padangsidimpuan city. The data obtained from the organoleptic test, homogeneity, spreadability, pH, irritation test and preference test are presented in the table and then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that fresh aloe vera (Aloe vera L.) could be formulated into hand sanitizer gel at concentrations of 10%, 15%, and 20%. Based on the results of the hedonic test, the formulation of the hand sanitizer gel preparation of fresh aloe vera (Aloe vera L) at a concentration of 20% was more in demand by respondents. Abstract

Anemia is a condition where the hemoglobin (Hb) level in the blood is less than normal, based on age group, gender and pregnancy. Anemia in pregnancy causes hemoglobin levels below 11 gr% in the first and third trimesters or hemoglobin levels <10.50 to 11.00 gr/dl. Anemia is an important factor in pregnancy because it is associated with morbidity or mortality in the mother and fetus. Anemia in pregnancy is a problem because it reflects the socio-economic welfare of society and has a huge influence on the quality of human resources. Anemia in pregnant women is called "potential danger for mother of child" (potentially dangerous for mother and child) which is why anemia requires serious attention from parties involved in health services. This research aims to find out the picture. The research was conducted in the Sayurmatinggi Health Center Working Area, Sayurmatinggi District, South Tapanuli Regency in 2023. The method in this research was descriptive. The population in the study was 56 pregnant women. The sample in this study was 55 using total sampling technique. The research results showed that the research results showed that the level of knowledge was poor for 26 people (46.4%), sufficient for 18 people (32.1%) and good knowledge for 12 people (21.4%). Advice for pregnant women is expected to recognize the danger signs of pregnancy early, especially in pregnant women, such as anemia and know how to prevent it.
