Abstract

This socialization is motivated by the importance of shaping the character of environmental care. Environmental care character is an effort to instill a sense of care for the environment. The character of caring for the environment is needed by everyone because by protecting the environment and caring for the environment will cause the environment to feel comfortable, avoid disease and prevent environmental damage. The school environment is the foremost educational institution in developing character education. Through school, the processes of forming and developing student character are easily seen and measured. Teachers need to teach character education at school to students because not all students get character education at home, one type of character education that needs to be applied at school is the character of caring for the environment. Seeing the importance of the character of environmental care is very necessary to be instilled early on to students starting from elementary school and junior high school. Teachers play a very important role in shaping character at school because the process of student interaction at school happens a lot with teachers, teachers are figures who are digugu and imitated by students. So the purpose of this study is to examine more deeply how the role of teachers in shaping students' environmental care character, supporting and inhibiting factors for the role of teachers in shaping students' environmental care character.

Abstract

Due to Indonesia's diversity, the values of Pancasila foster a harmonious and respectful environment. Therefore, Pancasila education plays a crucial role in fostering tolerance and harmony among students in schools. This article uses a library research method to collect data. The data sources used include books, articles, literature, and documents related to Pancasila education and efforts to improve tolerance and harmony among students in schools. The results of this study indicate that teachers play a crucial role in instilling values of tolerance in the school environment for students. The values contained in Pancasila education are also highly relevant. However, due to Indonesia's diversity, teachers face challenges in fostering an attitude of tolerance in the school environment.ABSTRAKKarena keragaman Indonesia, nilai-nilai Pancasila membangun lingkungan yang harmonis dan saling menghargai. Sehingga pendidikan Pancasila mempunyai peran krusial dalam membangun toleransi serta kerukunan peserta didik di sekolah. artikel ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka untuk mengumpulkan data. Sumber data yang digunakan termasuk buku, artikel, literatur, dan dokumen yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan pancasila dan upaya untuk meningkatkan toleransi dan kerukunan antar peserta didik di sekolah. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran guru sangat penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai toleransi di lingkungan sekolah bagi peserta didik. Nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam pendidikan pancasila juga sangat relevan. Namun karena keberagaman yang ada di Indonesia, guru menghadapi tantangan untuk membangun sikap toleransi di lingkungan sekolah.
