Abstract

This research was aimed at increasing basic mathematics ability in numeral operation aspect of students level B at Sejahtera I Kindergarten in Panggarangan using manipulative media. It was carried out in April to May 2017. Action research of Kemmis and Taggart (tahun) was used as the method of the research. It applied two cycles with 12 meetings. The cycles consisted of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subject of the research were 13 kindergarten level B students of Sejahtera I Panggarangan. The data gained were assessment results of pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II, fieldnote, interview, and documentation. Emills standard was used to analyze the data percentage, that the average increase of basic mathematics ability in numeral operation aspect reached 71%. The result of the research showed that there was an increase in basic mathematics ability using manipulative media. It was proven by the increase of the students' average assessment results. In cycle I the students' average score was 27,7, in cycle II it was 32,2. It means that there was an increase of 4,5 in the average score, from 76,9% in cycle I to 89,5% in cycle II. The implication of this study indicated that the use of manipulative media to teach basic mathematics in numeral operation brought about good result. In the learning process, the students became more active and creative. They found it easier to learning some mathematics concepts. In teaching mathematics concepts, manipulative media helped ease the teacher in explaining the concepts.

Abstract

This research aims to 1) To find out if using a pink tower arrangement medium can improve the seriesing ability. 2) To  know how the Pink tower beam is simulated against the 4 - 5 year old children's seriesing abilities in PAUD Sri Lestari  Kec. Pontang. Guide I: Dr. Eneng Sri Susilawati, M.Pd. Guide II: Hadi Sutiawan, MD, University of Buddhist  Faithfulness (USB) Rangkasbitung 2024. This type of research is collaborative classroom action research. Each cycle  consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subject of this study is the age of 4-5  years in the PAUD Sri Lestari district of Pontang with a total of 15 children. The object of the research is the ability to  serialize through the pink tower arrangement beams. The data collection technique uses observations, documentation,  and interviews. The instrument used in observations is a study sheet, for documentation using a photo camera to  document all the activities of the child during the activity and the interview using guidelines for interviews with  teachers at the age of 4-5 to find out the conditions and problems faced. The results of research show that learning  through pink tower arrangement can improve the ability of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Sri Lestari Prefecture of  Pontang district of Serang. The rate of success in children is increasing. The pre-cycle activity from an average of  64.10% increased from 9.94% in cycle I to 74.04% then increased again from 4.81% in Cycle II to 78.85%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine fine motor skills through cooking classes in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Sejahtera Pamarayan district in the Teaching Year 2023-2024, conducted from January to June 2024.The subjects of this study were 5-6-year-olds in group B with a total of 15 children consisting of 5 boys and 10 girls. This research method uses Class Action Research (PTK) which refers to the Kemmis and Mc Taggart Model that uses the four components of action surveillance, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Based on the results of the development then fine motor skills of children in group B in PAUD Welfare of 15 people, at the time of the pre-study the average ability of children of 44,3% after being given action on cycle I there was an increase with an average of 52,3% based on the data, this study is said to meet the criteria of success, then the study carried out cycle action II. The results of cycle II data obtained data improvement of fine motor abilities in children aged 5-6 years increased by the average of 75,5% then there is an increase from cycle 1 to cycle 2 by 31.3%.

Abstract

Early childhood is in a crucial stage of development and has the right to grow and develop optimally, especially during the golden period of intelligence. Naturalist intelligence, defined as the ability to recognize and categorize elements in nature, is very important to develop. This study aims to improve the naturalist intelligence of children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Raflesia through a learning model, Project Based Learning (PBL). Initial observations showed that children had low naturalist skills. The conventional method applied at the PAUD proved to be less effective, so a change in approach that is more fun and interactive is needed. In this study, a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design was applied with three stages: planning, action, and reflection. The results showed a significant increase in children's naturalistic intelligence, from 34.44% in the pre-research to 49.47% in cycle I and reached 90.20% in cycle II. This increase reflects the effectiveness of PBL in motivating children to actively learn and care for the environment. This study suggests the use of learning models that match children's interests as well as varied and fun activities to support further development of naturalist intelligence.

Abstract

An AI-powered system that enables text-based conversational interactions, the Generative Pre-training Transformer (GPT). GPT has various functions, including language translation, providing recommendations, increasing productivity, and assisting in education. The benefits of using GPT in education include personalized learning, accessibility, interactive learning resources, and assistance with assignments and problem solving. However, there are limitations to using GPT Chat, such as its limited understanding, inability to replace creative work, and its tendency to provide inaccurate answers. Additionally, it cannot differentiate between fact and opinion, and requires a stable internet connection. While Chat GPT can be useful for instant data retrieval, summaries, and other research tasks, it should not be relied upon as a replacement for manual research processes. Continuing ongoing research and development is crucial to maximize the benefits of using Chat GPT while overcoming existing challenges.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena rendahnya kemampuan pengukuran pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Setia Budhi Rangkasbitung. Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pengukuran pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Setia Budhi Rangkasbitung. Subjek penelitian anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Setia Budhi Rangkasbitung, yang berjumlah 20 orang, waktu dan tempat penelitian pada bulan Januari sampai dengan Februari, bertempat di TK Setia Budhi Rangkasbitung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas, yang dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus dimana masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 4 empat kali tindakan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan lembar observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan catatan lapangan. Analsiis data penelitian menggunakan analsisi data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan kemampuan pengukuran pada anak setelah menggunakan media loose parts. Sebelum diberikan intervensi kemampuan pengukuran 44,68%, setelah diberikan tindakan siklus I kemampuan anak meningkat menjadi 66,25%, dan pada siklus II kemampuan rata-rata anak meningkat menjadi 84,68%. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahawa implementasi media loose parts dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pengukuran.

Abstract

Pendampingan pembelajaran membaca ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan motorik anak yang ada di desa tanjung jaya dalam membaca. Penulisan dikembangkan karena banyak sekali siswa ataupun anak-anak yang ada di desa tanjung jaya ini yang kurang minat dalam membaca tersebut apalagi banyak sekali anak-anak yang tidak menyukai membaca karena mereka lebih suka bermain daripada membaca. Maka, tujuan dari pendampingan ini adalah meningkatkan proses pengembangan dalam membaca di desa tanjung jaya ini. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah mendeskripsikan aktivitas Penulis dalam mendampingi membaca murid dan hasil melatih anak selama proses pengabdian di desa tanjung jaya tersebut. Subjek dari penulisan ini adalah 5 orang siswa dari kelas bawah dan kelas menengah ke atas yang terdiri dari siswa-siswa sekolah dasar yang terdekat dengan posko. Dari hasil pengabdian selama disini anak dapat meningkatkan keproduktivitasan anak dalam belajar membaca dan menghasilkan keberanian tentu keberhasilan yang dicapai selama pengabdian.

Abstract

The main goal to be achieved in this study is to find out the ability to recognize numbers in children in KB PAUD Al Hidayah, Pamarayan District. The subjects in this study are all 9 students in class A of KB PAUD Al-Hidayah, Pamarayan District. This type of research is a collaborative classroom action research consisting of two cycles where each cycle is carried out four meetings. The data collection techniques used are obervation and documentation. The data analysis used  is descriptive, qualitative, and quantitative. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in the ability to  recognize the number of children in group A in KB PAUD Al-Hidayah, Pamarayan District. In the implementation of the Pre-Cycle, the ability to recognize the number of children reached 33.33%, which shows that the implementation of the  Pre-Cycle is still in the criteria for starting to develop. In Cycle I, the implementation of improvement actions increased by 51.4%, which showed that the criteria developed as expected. And in Cycle II it reached 90.28%, which shows that the creteria is developing very well. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the ability to recognize the number of children in Group C of PAUD Al-Hidayah Pamarayan District through the number card method has increased.

Abstract

This study aims (1). To improve children's speaking ability through storytelling method using hand puppet media  (2). To analyze the improvement of children's speaking ability through storytelling method using hand puppet media.  First supervisor: Dr. Eneng Sri Susilawati M.Pd. Supervisor II: H.Subhan, M.Pd. Setia Budhi University (USB)  Rangkasbitung 2024.  This research was conducted at PAUD Al Fajar, Tanara District, Serang Regency. This study uses a type of  Classroom Action Research (PTK) research. The data collection techniques used were observation, documentation,  and children's worksheets. The research subjects were children aged 4-5 years at PAUD Al Fajar, Tanara District,  Serang Regency. The results showed that learning through pop up media can improve the speaking ability of children aged 4-5 years  at PAUD Al Fajar, Tanara District, Serang Regency. The success rate in children increased. In pre-cycle activities  from an average of 38.61% increased 23.63% in cycle I to 62.24% then increased again 17.44% in cycle II to  79.68%.
