Abstract

This socialization departed from concerns about the lack of information for children regarding Covid-19. In addition, this socialization was held because it saw the importance of health protocols, one of which was washing hands as a measure to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Information related to health protocols has only been targeted for adult audiences. However, health protocol information for children is very limited. Parents often find it difficult to explain health protocols during a pandemic. This socialization is a collaboration with Taman Paud (Early Childhood Education) Roemah Kita in Yogyakarta as a partner. Dissemination focuses on information and knowledge related to hand washing as an important health protocol for early childhood, especially during a pandemic. Socialization was given to parents through a children's book entitled "Wash Your Hands" because of a suggestion from the government not to carry out gathering activities during the pandemic. The books are given to the parents of students. Parents then read it to the children while they are at home during the quarantine

Abstract

Health products circulating in society are subject to many regulations, one of which is the marketing communication activities. Herbalife is one of the health products that has been available in Indonesia for quite some time and has many customers. This product has a marketing communication strategy that differs from other health products. Nutrition Club is a nutrition house that sells products from Herbalife, using eight elements in the marketing communication mix. These elements include advertising, sales promotion, event and experience, PR and publicity, direct marketing, interactive marketing, sales promotion, and personal selling. This research employs in-depth interviews with 10 Nutritional Clubs spread across Jakarta, Denpasar, and Yogyakarta. Research shows that all interviewed Nutrition Clubs use the eight elements of the marketing communication mix, but their focus varies based on consumer backgrounds and human resource capabilities. Limitations in these resources hinder effective segmentation and targeting, especially for millennials. However, educational communication and lifestyle strategies help boost consumer interest in some nutrition clubs.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of self-actualization of students at SLB N 1 Sleman in creating content on the TikTok account @slbn1sleman. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation and analyzed using Gerald Millerson's media production theory and Alfred Schutz's phenomenological approach. The results show that student actualization occurs in three stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. The pre-production stage includes planning content ideas from daily activities, production involves students, actors, and teacher guidance, and post-production includes simple editing and evaluation. The content functions as an educational medium that can change public perceptions of children with special needs. A supportive school environment is a major factor. This study is expected to serve as a reference for other special needs schools in using social media for student education and empowerment.

Abstract

A graphic designer, in addition to having the abilities he has, should have several abilities such as a good attitude at work, sensitivity in solving problems, creativity and broad insight, responsibility, and literacy in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Because with good ICT literacy, graphic designers will find it easy to get sources of information that increase competence in the design process and can make maximum use of technology. This study aims to see how ICT literacy knowledge in the graphic design field of Pekalongan Graphic Design BLK participants uses 7 elements belonging to the 21st Century ICT Literacy Model, namely defining, accessing, evaluating, managing, integrating, creating, and communicating. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by conducting interviews and observations on three graphic design training participants at the Pekalongan City BLK. From the research that has been done, it can be concluded that one of the three participants of the Pekalongan City BLK training majoring in Graphic Design does not have one of the elements of ICT literacy, namely integrating. Also, in the design process, there are still some obstacles in the language of the tools, the internet, and devices such as laptops that suddenly crash and are full of memory.
