Abstract

The Indonesian batik industry faces significant challenges in attracting Generation Z, who tend to prefer modern, digital-based fashion products. To overcome this challenge, an innovative marketing strategy is needed by leveraging digital technologies such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and product personalization through digital platforms. This study analyzes how the application of digital technology can enhance the engagement of young consumers in shopping for batik. The results show that the use of AR and VR can create a more immersive and interactive shopping experience, while product personalization through digital platforms increases consumer satisfaction. By integrating these elements into marketing strategies, batik can be positioned as a fashion product relevant to Generation Z's lifestyle and have global appeal.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Green Ambidexterity Innovation (GAI), Strategic Stakeholder Alliance (SSA), and Green Human Resource Management Practices (GHRMP) on Sustainable Green Competitive Advantage (SGCA) and Sustainable Business Performance (SBP) in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Pamekasan, Indonesia. With increasing global competition and the need for environmentally sustainable practices, SMEs face the challenge of balancing innovation, stakeholder collaboration, and environmental responsibility. Using a mixed-method approach, this research employs both quantitative surveys of 100 SME managers and qualitative interviews to gather comprehensive data. Quantitative data analysis is conducted through WarpPLS 7.0, focusing on both the inner and outer models of the relationships among variables. Findings indicate that Green HRM Practices significantly positively impact SGCA, while Green Ambidexterity Innovation and Strategic Stakeholder Alliances demonstrate weaker or insignificant effects on SGCA. Moreover, SGCA does not significantly influence SBP. These results suggest that while Green HRM Practices can enhance competitive advantage, a more nuanced approach may be required for SMEs to fully leverage innovation and stakeholder collaboration for long-term sustainable business performance. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on green strategies in SMEs, offering practical recommendations for business leaders to integrate sustainability into their operational strategies. The study aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 8, 9, 12, and 13, aiming for responsible production and climate action.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology, particularly the use of e-wallets, have brought about significant changes in students’ transaction patterns and consumption behavior. The convenience, speed, and various promotions offered have made e-wallets increasingly popular among students, but they also have the potential to encourage consumerist behavior. This study aims to analyze the influence of e-wallet use on the consumerist behavior of students in the Faculty of Economics and Business at Madura University. The method used is a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research design. Data were collected through online questionnaires, interviews, and observations of 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The results indicate that e-wallet usage increases transaction frequency and encourages impulsive purchases, particularly for lifestyle-related products. Furthermore, most students do not have the habit of tracking their expenses, making it difficult for them to manage their finances. On the other hand, e-wallets also offer benefits such as transaction efficiency and easy access to digital services. Thus, the use of e-wallets has a dual impact: it serves as a tool that facilitates transactions while simultaneously having the potential to accelerate consumer behavior if not balanced with financial literacy and good self-control.
