Abstract

This study aims to analyze lesson planning as an effort to improve the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process at SD Inpres Alemba. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research subjects consist of the principal and teachers, while data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data are analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research results show that teachers have prepared lesson plans that include learning objectives, teaching materials, methods, media, and assessments in accordance with the applicable curriculum. Lesson planning helps teachers carry out the teaching and learning process more effectively, increases student engagement, and makes it easier to achieve learning goals. Although there are still challenges such as limited learning media, differences in students' abilities, and time constraints, teachers try to overcome them by adjusting their teaching strategies. In this way, systematically prepared lesson plans contribute positively to improving the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process at SD Inpres Alemba.

Abstract

Basic health is a crucial factor in supporting the learning process of elementary school students. Children of this age have developing immune systems, making them susceptible to various illnesses. This study aims to assess the level of knowledge regarding basic health among students at SD Inpres Moepali. A descriptive research method was employed, utilizing observation and documentation. The results indicate that the majority of students practice healthy living habits; however, continuous guidance is still required. To ensure the effective implementation of health education and foster clean and healthy living behaviors among students, the active involvement of both teachers and parents in providing regular basic health education is essential.

Abstract

Hamap. M Esi Loin.22586026068. This research was motivated by the importance of implementing Pancasila values in strengthening the character of elementary school students. Although Pancasila values had been applied in the learning process in Class V of UPTD SD Negeri Kenarilang, some students still demonstrated behaviors inconsistent with these values, such as disturbing friends during prayer, not respecting peers' opinions, being undisciplined, and cheating during assignments. This research aims to determine how Pancasila values are implemented in strengthening student character in Pancasila Education subject for Class V at UPTD SD Negeri Kenarilang. The research used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. Research subjects were the Class V homeroom teacher and 27 Class V students. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with data validity through technical triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of Pancasila values in strengthening student character had been carried out quite well through habituation, exemplary conduct, group discussions, cooperation, and extracurricular activities. The First Principle was applied through regular prayer and religious tolerance; the Second Principle through mutual assistance and respect; the Third Principle through group cooperation and mutual cooperation; the Fourth Principle through class discussions and deliberation; and the Fifth Principle through responsibility and honesty. The main challenges were students' lack of awareness, environmental influences, and insufficient family support. The teacher addressed these challenges through the 7 Habits of Great Indonesian Children Program, providing guidance, and cooperating with parents.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of using a water cycle teaching aid on improving the learning interest of fifth-grade students at UPTD SD Inpres Umapura. The research employed a pre-experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The participants consisted of 16 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using observation data analysis, learning interest questionnaire analysis, and the N-Gain test to determine the extent of the improvement in students' learning interest. The results showed an increase in students' learning interest after the implementation of the water cycle teaching aid, as indicated by the comparison of pretest and posttest questionnaire scores. The analysis revealed an average N-Gain score of 0.96, which falls into the high category, indicating a significant improvement in students' learning interest. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, while the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the water cycle teaching aid is effective and suitable for use in science learning to improve the learning interest of fifth-grade students at UPTD SD Inpres Umapura.
