Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Christian Religious Education (CRE) teachers in accompanying students with special needs in inclusive schools. Inclusive education requires CRE teachers to possess not only theological competence but also adaptive pedagogical skills and pastoral sensitivity toward the diversity of learners. Through a literature study method, this study analyzes various scholarly sources discussing the role of CRE teachers, characteristics of students with special needs, and inclusive practices in the context of Christian education. The results show that CRE teachers play a strategic role as adaptive educators, spiritual guides, social mediators, and collaborators within the inclusive school team. These roles are realized through love-based curriculum adaptation, personal pastoral approaches, and strengthening inclusive values rooted in Christian teaching. The implication is that Christian educational institutions need to strengthen the inclusive competencies of CRE teachers through training, professional mentoring, and responsive curriculum development.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of educational technology in enhancing the quality of Christian Religious Education (CRE) learning. The aim of the research is to explore the utilization of educational technology in CRE and its impact on student motivation. The method employed is a literature review with data collection from various sources. The results indicate that the use of technology-based learning media, such as interactive videos and digital platforms, enhances student interactivity and participation. Furthermore, educational technology contributes to increasing student motivation and facilitates more flexible learning. However, challenges related to teachers' competence in integrating technology and maintaining a balance between technological and spiritual aspects still need attention. These findings demonstrate that educational technology can serve as an effective means in supporting quality CRE learning that is relevant to the needs of the 21st century and aligned with Christian faith values.
