Abstract

Technological developments and globalization have increased the level of competition in the manufacturing sector. To be able to compate and survive in a competitive business environment, manufacturing companies need to meet customer satiscfaction by increasing productivity and efficiency in their operations, one of which is by implementing lean manufacturing. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of implementing lean manufacturing on increasing productivit in manufacturing companies. This reseach uses a literature review method in the form of a literature review study. Researchers obained scientific articles to research from the result of the Google Scholar and Academia.edu research libraries. The number of scientific articles examined in tis literature was six scientific articles. From the researchers’s findings, the application of lean manufacturing has significant influence on reducing waste increasing productivity and production efficiency in manufacturing companies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan komunikasi bisnis pada PT Home Center Indonesia selama pandemi COVID-19, dengan fokus pada integrasi model komunikasi linier, interaksional, dan transaksional serta peran komunikasi verbal dan non-verbal. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur dimana penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dari berbagai sumber terkait komunikasi bisnis selama krisis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi transaksional menjadi model yang dominan dalam menjaga hubungan dengan pelanggan dan karyawan, sementara komunikasi verbal lebih sering digunakan dalam bentuk email dan rapat daring. Komunikasi non-verbal meskipun terbatas dalam interaksi digital, tetapi berperan penting dalam memperkaya pesan yang disampaikan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami pentingnya komunikasi digital yang efektif dan komunikasi non-verbal dalam konteks perusahaan ritel selama pandemi.

Abstract

Globalization we live in today hasencouraged cross-border business interactions, making crosscultural communication a critical aspect of organizational success.This paperaims to comprehensively analyze the variousbusiness communication challenges that arise due to cultural differences. This researchidentifies and explores key challenges such as language differences, cultural values and norms, stereotypes, stnosetism,business communication contexts, decision-making processes and business ethics. Through aliterature review and conceptual analysis, this research aims to analyze the significantimpact of these challenges on the effectiveness of collaboration, negotiation and international business relationship building. It further provides practical implications and strategic recommendations for organizations to increase cultural awareness, enhance cultural insights and adopt adaptive communication practices to avoid the risk of misunderstandings and enhance success in a diverse global business environment. The research also highlights the negative consequences of failed, cross-cultural communication, including misunderstood conflicts and potential financial losses. Furthermore, the research offers a strategic framework and practical recommendations for organizations to minimize the challenges that will be faced, these strategies recommended include increasing employee cultural awareness. Adaptation of communication styles, building strong relationships, and utilizing resources such as translators and cultural mediators. In conclusion, this study explains that effective navigation within the scope of cross-cultural business communication, the development of intercultural competence and the implementation of adaptive and sensitive communication differences. By adopting a proactive approach, organizations can improve communication effectiveness, strengthen international business relationships and be able to compete in the global market.
