Abstract

This paper described the lecturers' community services in providing an online guidance of qualitative and quantitative research methods at STAI Auliaurrasyidin Tembilahan. This guidance was essential to add insight into scientific writing techniques, especially qualitative and quantitative research. The purpose of this guidance was to make both quantitative and qualitative easier to understand because students will not be away from using these methods. This training was accessible online. This guidance was enthusiastically welcomed by students, both from STAI Auliaurrasyidin Tembilahan and others.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style and organizational climate on teacher job satisfaction at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Batang Hari. This was a quantitative research with a survey approach. The population of this study is the number of all teachers who teach at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Batang Hari. Multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the data and processed by the SPSS Version 20.0 program. The results showed that leadership style had a significant effect on job satisfaction with t count > t table (5.541 > 1.693). This indicated that Ha was rejected and H0 was accepted. Additionally, organizational climate has a significant effect on job satisfaction by obtaining a value of t count> t table (3.491> 1.693). This indicated that Ha was rejected and H0 was accepted. This mainly meant that partially there was a significant effect between leadership style and organizational climate on job satisfaction. With the results of the coefficient of determination (r square) of 0.961, it meant that the leadership style and organizational climate variables were able to increase job satisfaction decisions by 96.1% and 0.039 or 3.9% were residual variables with a significant effect.

Abstract

Anak penyandang tunadaksa merupakan seorang anak yang mengalami kelainan ortopedik(salah satu bentuk berupa gangguan dari fungsi normal pada tulang, otot, dan persendian yang mungkin karena bawaan sejak lahir, penyakit atau kecelakaan. Anak penyandang tunadaksa memiliki berbagai macam karakteristik salah satunya karakteristik kepribadian.Adanya kelainan fisik dapat mempengaruhi kepribadian atau ketidakmampuan individu dalam menyesuaikan diri.Di dalam karakteristik kepribadian ini mereka yang cacat sejak lahir tidak pernah memperoleh pengalaman karena mereka memilih menjadi pribadi yang tertutup terhadap apa yang mereka miliki. Oleh karena itu perlu melakukan sosialisasi mengenai anak tunadaksa di lingkungan masyarakat agar masyarakat mampu memahami bagaimana cara berinteraksi yang baik dengan penyandang tunadaksa. Tujuan program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat tentang tunadaksa. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, ceramah dan diskusi di desa Malakoni Kecamatan Enggano. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilihat dari tingkat pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta dalam berdiskusi dan Tanya jawab secara tepat sesuai dengan materi yang sudah diberikan sebelumnya. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah peserta terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan tentang tunadaksa dan cara berinteraksi yang baik dengan penyandang tunadaksa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap: 1) pengaruh kepribadian terhadap efektivitas tenaga kependidikan, 2) pengaruh perilaku pemimpin terhadap efektivitas tenaga kependidikan, 3) pengaruh kepribadian dan perilaku pemimpin secara simultan terhadap efektivitas tenaga kependidikan. Metode penelitian ini tergolong ke dalam penelitian kuantitatif bersifat survey. Seluruh populasi dalam penelitian dijadikan sebagai sampel berjumlah 19 orang guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Baitul Mubtadi‘in Penerokan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat pengaruh kepribadian terhadap efektivitas tenaga kependidikan, 2) terdapat pengaruh perilaku pemimpin terhadap efektivitas tenaga kependidikan, 3) terdapat pengaruh kepribadian dan perilaku pemimpin secara simultan terhadap efektivitas tenaga kependidikan.

Abstract

Human Resource (HR) training and development is a strategic aspect in improving organisational performance and competitiveness. This research aims to explore the training methods used by organisations and evaluate their effectiveness in improving employee competencies. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design in a multinational company in Jakarta. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis from 15 employees who had attended the training programmed. The results showed that the company uses various training methods, such as simulation, technology-based training, and mentoring. The effectiveness of the training varies depending on the relevance of the material, the involvement of the instructor, and the contextualisation of the programme to the needs of the employees. The main supporting factors are the availability of resources and management commitment, while barriers include the lack of personalisation of the programmed and inflexible schedules. The study concludes that training effectiveness is influenced by the suitability of methods to individual and organisational needs. Recommendations include improved training needs analysis, adoption of interactive learning technologies, and continuous evaluation to ensure skills application on the job.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the Yasinan tradition in MIN 4 Batang Hari contributes to instilling character values in students. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data was obtained through interviews with teachers and students, direct observation, and documentation of Yasinan's activities. The results of the study show that Yasinan activities are an effective means of shaping students' character, such as discipline, order, and other Islamic values. Teachers play a role model in guiding students, but there are several obstacles, such as lack of parental attention and the influence of social media that can affect student behavior. Therefore, synergy is needed between Madrasah and parents to optimize the formation of student character through sustainable religious activities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe, test, and analyze the influence of commitment and the headmaster’s work creativity on teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Batang Hari. This study uses a quantitative research method with a survey design that uses questionnaires as a data collection tool. Data analysis uses multiple regression analysis with the help of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program. Based on the research results obtained, it can be concluded that commitment has a significant influence on teacher performance, namely t_{count} > t_{table} or 2.571 > 1.724. The headmaster’s work creativity has a significant influence on teacher performance, namely t_{count} > t_{table} or 2.131 > 1.724. The results of the regression coefficient test show that the commitment and work creativity of the headmaster influence teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Batang Hari. The percentage contribution of the independent variable X_1 (Commitment) is 54.3% and X_2 (Headmaster’s Work Creativity) is 45.0% toward the dependent variable Y (Teacher Performance), while the remaining 2.1% is influenced or explained by other variables. The conclusion of this study is that Teacher Performance at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Batang Hari is influenced by the variables of Commitment and Headmaster’s Work Creativity.
