Abstract

Batik is an Indonesian cultural heritage that plays a crucial role as a national identity. In the digital era, the preservation of batik faces new dynamics shaped by technological advancement, cultural globalization, and changes in public consumption patterns. This article aims to analyze the preservation of batik as a national identity in the digital era by examining its opportunities, challenges, and preservation strategies. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method through literature review of academic books, national and international journals, and official documents related to batik and culture. The findings indicate that the digital era provides significant opportunities for batik promotion and innovation through social media and digital platforms; however, it also presents challenges such as excessive commercialization, cultural value shifts, and declining understanding of batik’s philosophical meanings among younger generations. Therefore, adaptive and sustainable preservation efforts are required through cultural literacy enhancement, wise utilization of digital technology, and strong government policy support alongside youth participation to maintain batik as Indonesia’s national identity. Abstract

This study investigates psycholinguistic aspects related to human thought processes in understanding and producing language by analyzing maxim violations in the CXO Media podcast featuring Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa (Chairman of the LPS Board of Commissioners). By applying pragmatic qualitative methods and a descriptive approach, this study aims to reveal how spontaneous communication strategies in oral conversations can deviate from the Cooperative Principle proposed by Grice. The results of the analysis revealed 7 (seven) findings of maxim violations including, 4 (four) violations of the maxim of quality, characterized by exaggeration and simplification of facts without sufficient evidence, 2 (two) violations of the maxim of quantity due to providing unclear and inconsistent information, and 1 (one) violation of the maxim of manner involving the use of unclear, repetitive, and wordy language. Overall, these findings indicate that maxim violations in the context of sensitive issues such as customer fund security and cyber attacks act as psychological tools to convince the public, build a positive image, and provide a sense of security to listeners through persuasive delivery.

Abstract

Rendahnya tingkat literasi di sekolah dapat disebabkan oleh kurangnya kemampuan pendidik untuk menganalisis ketersediaan bahan bacaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan literasi peserta didik di SDN 5 Tigaraksa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Peneliti menganalisis kebutuhan literasi peserta didik sesuai dengan fakta yang ada di sekolah yang menerapkan program literasi. Data pada penelitian ini meliputi data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer yakni data yang diperoleh secara langsung berupa hasil observasi dan wawancara bersama kepala SDN 5 Tigaraksa, sementara data sekunder yakni data yang diperoleh berupa jurnal dan artikel yang mendukung penelitian kebutuhan literasi peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemenuhan kebutuhan literasi membaca peserta didik melalui kolaborasi dengan pihak luar di SDN 5 Tigaraksa dapat meningkatkan kualitas literasi peserta didik, namun keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana masih menjadi faktor penghambat dalam optimalisasi pelaksanaan program literasi. Sehingga kebutuhan literasi di SDN 5 Tigaraksa masih dalam proses pengembangan.
