Abstract

This research is motivated by the decrease of the company value that property, real estate and building construction companies. This research aims to know the description of investment decisions with a measuring indicators that is Total Asset Growth (TAG), description of funding decisions with measuring indicators that is Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and description company value with a measuring indicator that is Price Book Value (PBV). The analysis tools used include panel data regression analysis, test of significance of regression, and test the significance of regression coefficient. The results showed that the variables Investment decision variable (TAG) does not effect the Corporate Value and Funding Decision (DER) has a positive effect on firm value company values in the property, real estate and building construction sector.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena adanya kemudahan memperoleh sumber pendanaan internal, membuat perusahaan memaksimalkan pendanaan yang bersumber dari internal sehingga tidak melibatkan pihak lain. Right issue adalah salah satu upaya perusahaan agar memperoleh dana murah yang dapat digunakan untuk ekspansi usaha, modal kerja, atau membayar utang. Selama kurun waktu 5 tahun terjadi fluktuasi jumlah perusahaan yang melakukan right issue. Hal ini menunjukan adanya perusahaan yang membutuhkan tambahan dana sehingga melakukan right issue sebagai alternative memperoleh dana tambahan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis profitabilitas dan likuiditas sebelum dan sesudah melakukan right issue. Penelitian dilakukan pada perusahaan-perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia yang melakukan right issue pada tahun 2012 dan 2013. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan sampel 16 perusahaan. Analisis ini menggunakan pengujian statistik dengan bantuan program SPSS. Uji normalitas data yang digunakan menggunakan uji normalitas Kolmogorov -Smirnov. Data yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini tidak terdistribusi secara normal karena memiliki nilai Asymp Sig-2tailed < 0,05 sehingga pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Hasil dari pengujian hipotesis menunjukan bahwa : (1) Tidak terdapat perbedaaan profitabilitas yang diukur menggunakan return on equity sebelum dan sesudah melakukan right issue. (2) Terdapat perbedaan likuiditas yang diukur dengan current ratio sebelum dan sesudah melakukan right issue. Kata kunci : Right Issue, Profitabilitas, Likuiditas

Abstract

Desa wisata merupakan salah satu atraksi wisata yang dapat dikembangkan serta memberikan kontribusi yang positif bagi masyarakat. Dalam membangun desa wisata hal yang penting ialah sebuah komitmen antara pemerintah serta aparat desa, tokoh masyarakat dan organisasi desa untuk menjadikan desa sebagai desa wisata. Berdasarkan hasil kajian potensi pengembangan desa wisata Kecamatan Pagerageung Tasikmalaya Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Provinsi Jawa Barat masih perlu peningkatan pengetahuan sumber daya manusia, maka diperlukannya peran akademisi untuk memberikan literasi desa wisata pada masayarakat desa di Pagerageung. Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang program pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui pengembangan desa binaan berbasis kemitraan di Kecamatan Pagerageung Tasikmalaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey awal, pelatihan, pendampingan, monitoring dan evaluasi. Survey awal yang dilakukan berfokus pada potensi desa wisata, pemahaman desa wisata di masyarakat, serta masalah yang ada di masyarakat dalam membangun desa wisata. Survey awal dikaji untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan desa wisata. Dengan metode tersebut diharapkan dapat turut membantu mengembangkan desa wisata dan menyelesaikan masalah yang ada di masyarakat dalam mengelola desa wisata, selain itu artikel ini juga menjelaskan pentingnya literasi desa wisata untuk masyarakat sebagai pemegang peran penting dalam mengembangkan desa wisata.

Abstract

One of the focuses of the Sustainable Development Goals is to create decent work and economic growth (Decent Work and Economic Growth), which is to promote sustainable and inclusive economic growth, employment and decent work for all. One of the big challenges for the Indonesian people is the burden of unemployment as a result of the narrowing of job opportunities. Concrete efforts are needed so that the number of unemployed can be reduced, one of which is through increasing the number of entrepreneurs in Indonesia. However, the data shows that almost 90% of startups in Indonesia end up in failure due to low financial literacy which has an impact on poor financial behavior. This study was conducted to examine the effect of financial literacy on business sustainability with financial behavior as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive verification method. The analysis technique that will be used is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis with the help of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The research respondents were young entrepreneurs from the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) students represented by UPI students who are members of the Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Indonesia (HIPMI) PT UPI with a total of 96 respondents. The results show that the type of mediation that occurs in this study is "Perfect Mediation" where the relationship between the variables of Financial Literacy and Business Sustainability is not directly significant, while the relationship between Financial Literacy and Business Sustainability variables with the mediation of Financial Behavior variables is significant. The findings of this study are expected to be able to provide recommendations regarding the development of financial inclusion policies, especially for the younger generation, education to improve financial literacy and policies in providing stimulus for young entrepreneurs to be able to maintain their business sustainability with a financial approach.

Abstract

Tingkat persaingan yang semakin ketat antar sekolah swasta mengharuskan setiap sekolah melakukan optimalisasi media promosi demi mempertahankan eksistensinya. Betapapun bagusnya suatu sekolah apabila tidak dipromosikan dengan maksimal akan berdampak pada minimnya jumlah peserta didik dan tidak dikenalnya sekolah tersebut di kalangan masyarakat. Seiring dengan adanya dampak pandemi Covid-19, menyebabkan perubahan perilaku dengan lebih banyaknya penggunaan teknologi digital dalam segala bidang, termasuk bidang pendidikan. Sekolah-sekolah swasta di bawah naungan Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979 membutuhkan media promosi yang dapat menarik peserta didik baru melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital, salah satunya melalui pengembangan desain dan konten marketing berbentuk media komunikasi visual. Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah membuat media komunikasi visual yang efektif dan komunikatif untuk mempromosikan sekolah-sekolah yang ada di Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979, di mana konten yang ada diharapkan dapat meyakinkan calon peserta didik untuk bersekolah di sekolah-sekolah tersebut dan pada akhirnya dapat menambah jumlah peserta didik baru. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahapan, yaitu diawali dengan identifikasi masalah, kegiatan pelatihan, kemudian pembuatan booklet sebagai media yang digunakan sebagai media promosi bagi setiap unit yang berada di lingkungan Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979, yaitu SMP Handayani 1 Banjaran, SMA Handayani 1 Pameungpeuk, SMA Handayani 2 Banjaran dan SMK Handayani Banjaran. Hasil dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah dihasilkannya booklet promosi sekolah yang diharapkan dapat meyakinkan calon peserta didik dan pada akhirnya dapat menambah jumlah peserta didik baru. The increasingly fierce level of competition between private schools, requires each school to optimize promotional media in order to maintain its existence. No matter how good a school is, if it is not promoted optimally, it will have an impact on the minimum number of students and the lack of recognition of the school in the community. Along with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, causing behavioral changes with more use of digital technology in all fields, including education. Private schools under the Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979 need promotional media that can attract new students through the use of digital technology, one of which is through the development of design and marketing content in the form of visual communication media. The purpose of this Community Service is to create an effective and communicative visual communication media to promote the schools in the Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979, where the existing content is expected to convince prospective students to attend these schools, and in the end can increase the number of new students. This Community Service activity was carried out in several stages, starting with problem identification, training activities, then making booklets as the promotional media used for each unit within the Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979, namely SMP Handayani 1 Banjaran, SMA Handayani 1 Pameungpeuk, SMA Handayani 2 Banjaran and SMK Handayani Banjaran. The result of this Community Service activity is the production of school promotion booklets which are expected to convince prospective students and ultimately increase the number of new students.

Abstract

Financial well-being can be achieved through good financial behavior in the short and long term. Within the household group, financial behavior was associated with financial well-being, such as paying bills on time, saving, and investing. Financial literacy is one of the factors that form good financial behavior, on the other hand, financial ignorance leads to bad financial behavior. This study aims to examine the effect of gender moderation on the relationship between financial literacy and financial ignorance on financial behavior in household workers in Kota Bandung, Kabupaten Bandung and Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Primary data was taken through the distribution of google form questionnaires and collected as many as 75 samples. Data were analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results show that gender acts as a moderator in the relationship between financial literacy and financial ignorance on financial behavior. The partial test shows that an increase in financial literacy will have an impact on increasing positive financial behavior, on the contrary, an increase in financial ignorance will have an impact on decreasing positive financial behavior among respondents. The results of this study can be continued or developed by the next researcher, by adding several other moderating variables, such as class position, income, ethnicity, and others.

Abstract

Dalam kurun periode 2018-2022 kinerja saham pada sektor industri barang konsumsi mengalami penurunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek moderasi kebijakan dividen pada pengaruh profitabilitas terhadap harga saham di sektor industri barang konsumsi. Dari keseluruhan sampel penelitian selama 5 tahun diperoleh jumlah 95 observasi menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Analisis Regresi Moderasi (MRA) dengan menggunakan Eviews. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kebijakan dividen memoderasi pengaruh profitabilitas terhadap harga saham. Ketika perusahaan menerapkan kebijakan dividen yang tinggi, pengaruh profitabilitas terhadap harga saham dapat melemah. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bahwa dalam membeli saham investor perlu mempertimbangkan kebijakan dividen untuk menilai prospek saham di masa depan. Karena tingginya kebijakan dividen menjadi sinyal negatif yang menandakan perusahaan hanya fokus memberikan dividen yang besar kepada investor tanpa menginvestasikan kembali pada pertumbuhan jangka panjang dan keberlanjutan bisnis. Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of inflation (Consumer Price Index/CPI) and interest rates (Federal Funds Rate) on the prices of five major cryptocurrencies—Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Stellar (XLM)—over the period 2016–2024. Employing a quantitative approach, the study develops five separate multiple regression models, each representing one cryptocurrency as the dependent variable (Y). The results indicate that BTC, ETH, and DOGE are positively influenced by both inflation and interest rates. In contrast, XRP and XLM are only significantly and positively affected by inflation, while interest rates show no significant impact on their prices. The F-tests for each model confirm that inflation and interest rates simultaneously exert a significant effect on the prices of all five cryptocurrencies. These findings support the Arbitrage Pricing Theory (APT), which posits that asset valuation is determined by systematic risk factors, implying that even cryptocurrencies are not immune to the influence of inflation and interest rates.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability and liquidity on firm value with capital structure as a moderating variable in companies in the apparel and luxury goods subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2018–2022 period. The research methods used are descriptive and verification quantitative methods. Descriptive methods are used to describe firm value, profitability, liquidity, and capital structure. In contrast, verification methods are used to test the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable and the moderating role of capital structure. Data collection is done using secondary data from the company's published financial statements. The results showed that profitability and liquidity positively and significantly influence firm value. High profitability indicates good economic performance and provides a positive signal to investors. In contrast, high liquidity suggests the company's ability to meet short-term obligations and reduce the risk of bankruptcy. In addition, capital structure is found to function as a moderating variable that can strengthen or weaken the effect of profitability and liquidity on firm value. A balanced capital structure between debt and equity can maximize the benefits of profitability and liquidity, while an unbalanced capital structure can reduce these positive effects. This study implies that company management in the apparel and luxury goods subsector needs to optimize profitability and liquidity and manage the capital structure wisely to increase firm value. The findings also support signal, pecking order, and trade-off theories, which emphasize the importance of effective financial management and optimal capital structure. This study contributes to the financial management and corporate strategy literature and offers practical insights for corporate managers and investors in economic decision-making.
