Abstract

Universities are organizations with inputs and outputs in the form of human resources so that in achieving quality graduates required quality input. By improving the quality of lecturers and educational staff is a quick way to improve the quality of graduates. In addition, in the process of transformation, organizational support is needed through an organization-focused culture of knowledge. In this case, colleges are trying to optimize what they have to determine the right strategy. Based on our previous research results the commitment of human resources is the factor that most influence the performance of universities. One way that is used is to associate the concept of quality with human resource management as a system of human resource improvement, which is with total quality human resource management (TQHRM). This study aim to develop a performance model of higher education organizations based on TQHRM and Knowledge Strategy. This research use survey method. This research is done at the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) with the subject of research is all academic units consisting of graduates study program which amounts to 71 departments. Because this research develops a model which is more formative then more suitable to use Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The result finding in Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, TQHRM and Knowledge Strategy does not affect the performance of the organization. In using the indicators of organizational performance using balance scorecard in higher education is required assumptions include (1) the clarity and alignment of key performance indicators and performance appraisal university courses, (2) high organizational commitment of his teachers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran dan pengaruh antar variabel yaitu strategi pengetahuan dan keunggulan bersaing berkelanjutan perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di UPI, dengan unit analisis seluruh program studi sarjana yang berjumlah 46 program studi tersebar di tujuh fakultas. Adapun teknik penarikan sampling adalah purposive yang melibatkan ketua program studi sebagai sumber datanya dengan alasan sebagai regulator dan partisipan sekaligus. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 82.61% program studi sarjana di UPI ada pada kelompok dengan keunggulan bersaing sementara dan 76.09% program studi sarjana di UPI sudah cukup dalam menjalankan strategi pengetahuan. Selain itu, pembentunkan keunggulan bersaing berkelanjutan program studi sarjana di UPI dipengaruhi oleh penerapan strategi pengetahuan sebesar 34.1%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai kepuasan kerja dan perilaku kewargaorganisasian di PT Papyrus Sakti dan juga mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap perilaku kewargaorganisasian di PT Papyrus Sakti. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif verifikatif dengan populasi sebanyak 466 karyawan dan sampel 100 karyawan PT Papyrus Sakti dengan menggunakan teknik sampling propotionate stratified random sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah koefisien korelasi pearson product moment dan analisis regresi sederhana. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Uji-t untuk melihat pengaruh secara parsial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gambaran kepuasan kerja dan perilaku kewargaorganisasian karyawan PT Papyrus Sakti berada pada kategori tinggi, dan hasil koefisien regresi menunjukkan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku kewargaorganisasian.

Abstract

The fesyen creative industry is a very strategic creative industry in Bandung because it provides a high contribution to economic and employment. In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the strategy was improved digital literacy. The current problem is that the level of digital literacy is very low. The objective is to obtain a picture of the digital literacy level, identify the driving and inhibiting factors,and measure the effect of the digital literacy level on business performance. The unit of analysis is the fesyen creative industry in Bandung. This study uses a mixed method through observation, questionnaire, and in depth interviews, then the data were analyzed descriptively and conducted a verification test with regression analysis. The results showed that digital literacy still needed to be improved and there was a significant influence on the level of digital literacy on business performance. Research is very important because is still rarely conducted so that research results are expected to be novelty. The results are expected to improve digital literacy, develop strategies to increase digital literacy of businesses, and design joint activities to improve business management capabilities.  Industri kreatif fesyen merupakan industri kreatif yang sangat strategis di kota Bandung karena memberikan kontribusi tinggi terhadap PDRB kota Bandung dan penyerapan tenaga kerja. Di era Revolusi industri 4.0, strategi pengembangan industri ini  ditujukan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital. Permasalahan yang ada saat ini adalah tingkat literasi digital masih sangat rendah. Tujuan penelitian adalah memperoleh gambaran tingkat literasi digital industri kreatif fesyen di kota Bandung, mengidentifikasikan faktor pendorong dan penghambat, dan mengukur pengaruh tingkat literasi digital terhadap kinerja bisnis. Unit analisis pada penelitian ini adalah industri kreatif fesyen di kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan mixed method melalui observasi, penyebaran kuesioner, dan in depth interview, selanjutnya data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan dilakukan uji verifikatif dengan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital masih harus ditingkatkan dan terdapat pengaruh signifikan tingat literasi digital terhadap kinerja bisnis. Penelitian menjadi sangat penting karena masih jarang dilakukan sehingga hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menjadi novelty. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat meningkatkan literasi digital, mengembangkan strategi peningkatan literasi digital pelaku usaha, dan merancang aktifitas bersama untuk meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen bisnis.

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan manajemen talenta, distinctive capabilities dan keunggulan bersaing dan menguji pengaruh manajemen talenta terhadap pembentukan distinctive capabilities serta implikasinya pada keunggulan bersaing. Penelitin ini dilakukan di industri furniture rotan anggota ASMINDO Cirebon. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey explanatori. Unit analisisnya adalah perusahaan furniture rotan anggota ASMINDO yang berjumlah 85 perusahaan dan yang menjadi sampel yaitu 70 perusahaan yang tersebar di seluruh Desa di Kabupaten dan Kota Cirebon. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi, bahwa tingkat manajemen talenta perusahaan furniture rotan anggota ASMINDO Cirebon dikategorikan cukup yang mengindikasikan sudah menyadari bahwa SDM adalah sumber keunggulan bersaing yang strategis. Distintive capabilities yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan furniture rotan anggota ASMINDO Cirebon dikategorikan cukup dengan berorientasi pada inovasi dan arsitektur. Keunggulan bersaing perusahaan furniture rotan anggota ASMINDO dikategorikan cukup dengan bersumber pada indikator pertumbuhan produktivitas karyawan. Tinggi rendahnya keunggulan bersaing perusahaan furniture rotan anggota ASMINDO Cirebon secara positif dipengaruhi oleh manajemen talenta dan distintive capabilities sebesar 46,8% sisanya 53.2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti. Kata Kunci: manajemen talenta, distinctive capabilities, keunggulan bersaing ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe talent management, distinctive capabilities and competitive advantage and examine the influence of talent management on the formation of distinctive capabilities and their implications for competitive advantage. This research was conducted in the rotan furniture industry of ASMINDO Cirebon members. The method used is the explanatory survey method. The unit of analysis is ASMINDO member rotan furniture company, which amounts to 85 companies and which is a sample of 70 companies spread across villages in Cirebon Regency and City. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. From the results of the study obtained information, that the level of talent management in rotan furniture company members of ASMINDO Cirebon is categorized sufficient which indicates that they are aware that HR is a source of strategic competitive advantage. Distintive capabilities that are owned by rotan furniture companies of ASMINDO Cirebon members are categorized quite by being oriented towards innovation and architecture. The competitive advantage of the ASMINDO member rotan furniture company is categorized enough by sourced from the indicator of employee productivity growth. The high and low competitive advantage of rotan furniture companies in ASMINDO Cirebon members is positively influenced by talent management and distintive capabilities by 46.8%, the remaining 53.2% is influenced by other factors which are not examined. Key words: talent management, distinctive capabilities, competitive advantage

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems related to the decline in the performance of employees of PT. Urbane Indonesia in 2016- 2017. With the declining performance of employees at PT. Urbane Indonesia, if left unchecked, will have a negative impact on the company. Of the many factors that affect employee performance, what attracts researchers is organizational culture. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of organizational culture on employee performance at PT. Urbane Indonesia, to know the description of Organizational Culture at PT. Urbane Indonesia and to determine the level of employee performance at PT. Urbane Indonesia. This study uses descriptive and verification methods with a population of 67 employees and a sample of 67 employees. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing using t-test. The results of this study can be seen that the organizational culture together has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that encourage MSMEs in using of social media that they can help them optimizing sustainable marketing activities in the era of digital transformation. This research is explanatory quantitative research where the aim is to reduce the number of variables, detect the structure of the relationship between variables, and classify them into a new group of variables. This research involves 9 variables/factors with 38 indicators. The data were taken through questionnaires and interviews with 317 food and beverage MSMEs in West Java. The data were analyzed through Explanatory Factor Analysis (EFA). The results of this study show the KMO Measure of Sampling (MSA) value is 0.939 and the Bartlett's Test value is 6850.368 with a significance number of 0.000. Then, the value of Anti Image Matrices on 38 indicators is above 0.5, so that all indicators are declared feasible. From Communalities in the attachment of factor analysis, it is known that the indicator X5.3 is the indicator that has the higest & strongest value (0.736) meanwhile the indicator X2.3 is the indicator that has the lowest & weakest value (0.377. According to the total initial eigenvalues, it is found that there are 6 factors that have values above 1. So that, in the rotated component matrix, each of 38 indicators put themselves into groups that have strong relationship. This study concludes that there are 6 main factors in encouraging SMEs in West Java to use social media, namely: earned benefit, communication, reliable, support tool, competition, price.

Abstract

This study aims to exploration factor of employer branding and employee value proposition for employee of university. Based on previous research all the indicators of employer branding and employee values proposition from potential and existing employee from profit organization, that the reason for this research find indicators from academic sector. This study aims to exploration factor of employer branding and employee value proposition for employee of university. This research conducting at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia with 50 lecture and 50 employees as source of data with questionnaire and using Explanatory Factor Analysis (EFA). Dimension of Employer branding adopted from Tanwar and Prasad (2017) and Corporate Executive Board (2007) for Employee Value Proposition. Based on the EFA analysis, a classification of new factors/dimensions employer branding was obtained, namely training and development, organizational value/culture, social value, working environment, compensation, and benefits with 21 item scale. For employee value proposition find a classification of new factors / dimensions was obtained, namely work, learning organization, reward, organizational climate, organizational culture, company dimensions, career opportunities, environmental ethics. All the item scale of variable can prediction about university attractiveness from their employee, its implication to university policy to increase engagement their employee.

Abstract

One of the focuses of the Sustainable Development Goals is to create decent work and economic growth (Decent Work and Economic Growth), which is to promote sustainable and inclusive economic growth, employment and decent work for all. One of the big challenges for the Indonesian people is the burden of unemployment as a result of the narrowing of job opportunities. Concrete efforts are needed so that the number of unemployed can be reduced, one of which is through increasing the number of entrepreneurs in Indonesia. However, the data shows that almost 90% of startups in Indonesia end up in failure due to low financial literacy which has an impact on poor financial behavior. This study was conducted to examine the effect of financial literacy on business sustainability with financial behavior as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive verification method. The analysis technique that will be used is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis with the help of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The research respondents were young entrepreneurs from the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) students represented by UPI students who are members of the Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Indonesia (HIPMI) PT UPI with a total of 96 respondents. The results show that the type of mediation that occurs in this study is "Perfect Mediation" where the relationship between the variables of Financial Literacy and Business Sustainability is not directly significant, while the relationship between Financial Literacy and Business Sustainability variables with the mediation of Financial Behavior variables is significant. The findings of this study are expected to be able to provide recommendations regarding the development of financial inclusion policies, especially for the younger generation, education to improve financial literacy and policies in providing stimulus for young entrepreneurs to be able to maintain their business sustainability with a financial approach.

Abstract

Tingkat persaingan yang semakin ketat antar sekolah swasta mengharuskan setiap sekolah melakukan optimalisasi media promosi demi mempertahankan eksistensinya. Betapapun bagusnya suatu sekolah apabila tidak dipromosikan dengan maksimal akan berdampak pada minimnya jumlah peserta didik dan tidak dikenalnya sekolah tersebut di kalangan masyarakat. Seiring dengan adanya dampak pandemi Covid-19, menyebabkan perubahan perilaku dengan lebih banyaknya penggunaan teknologi digital dalam segala bidang, termasuk bidang pendidikan. Sekolah-sekolah swasta di bawah naungan Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979 membutuhkan media promosi yang dapat menarik peserta didik baru melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital, salah satunya melalui pengembangan desain dan konten marketing berbentuk media komunikasi visual. Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah membuat media komunikasi visual yang efektif dan komunikatif untuk mempromosikan sekolah-sekolah yang ada di Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979, di mana konten yang ada diharapkan dapat meyakinkan calon peserta didik untuk bersekolah di sekolah-sekolah tersebut dan pada akhirnya dapat menambah jumlah peserta didik baru. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahapan, yaitu diawali dengan identifikasi masalah, kegiatan pelatihan, kemudian pembuatan booklet sebagai media yang digunakan sebagai media promosi bagi setiap unit yang berada di lingkungan Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979, yaitu SMP Handayani 1 Banjaran, SMA Handayani 1 Pameungpeuk, SMA Handayani 2 Banjaran dan SMK Handayani Banjaran. Hasil dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah dihasilkannya booklet promosi sekolah yang diharapkan dapat meyakinkan calon peserta didik dan pada akhirnya dapat menambah jumlah peserta didik baru. The increasingly fierce level of competition between private schools, requires each school to optimize promotional media in order to maintain its existence. No matter how good a school is, if it is not promoted optimally, it will have an impact on the minimum number of students and the lack of recognition of the school in the community. Along with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, causing behavioral changes with more use of digital technology in all fields, including education. Private schools under the Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979 need promotional media that can attract new students through the use of digital technology, one of which is through the development of design and marketing content in the form of visual communication media. The purpose of this Community Service is to create an effective and communicative visual communication media to promote the schools in the Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979, where the existing content is expected to convince prospective students to attend these schools, and in the end can increase the number of new students. This Community Service activity was carried out in several stages, starting with problem identification, training activities, then making booklets as the promotional media used for each unit within the Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979, namely SMP Handayani 1 Banjaran, SMA Handayani 1 Pameungpeuk, SMA Handayani 2 Banjaran and SMK Handayani Banjaran. The result of this Community Service activity is the production of school promotion booklets which are expected to convince prospective students and ultimately increase the number of new students.
