Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Pregnancy Dance modification on improving depression levels and serotonin hormone levels in high-risk pregnant women. The research design used was Quasi Experiment with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design approach. The number of samples in this study was 24 participants, which were divided into two groups: 12 samples of the intervention group and 12 samples of the control group. Based on the Wilcoxon test, the asymp. Sig <0.05 value indicates a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores, which indicates a positive effect of Pregnancy Dance in reducing depression levels in high-risk pregnant women. After the intervention, there was a greater decrease in depression scores in the Pregnancy Dance group compared to the control group. The control group, which received pregnancy exercise intervention, also experienced a decrease in depression scores with an average decrease of 7.25. However, the analysis showed that the asymp. Sig value 0.000 <0.05, with a greater average decrease in scores in the intervention group than in the control group. In conclusion, although both activities are effective in reducing depression levels, Pregnancy Dance proved to be superior, especially in addressing anxiety and emotional stress, thanks to its more prominent elements of relaxation, body expression and social support.

Abstract

To determine the influence of animated video media on adolescent knowledge about HIV/AIDS prevention. Method: Quasy Experiment research design or quasi-experiment with One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Data were collected using a questionnaire then data tabulation and data analysis were carried out.The pre-test value of the animated video media and leaflet groups obtained an average knowledge value that was not much different, namely 5.45 in the treatment group and 5.05 in the leaflet group. This means there was no difference in the average knowledge in the animated video media and leaflet groups before being given knowledge about HIV/AIDS. The level of knowledge of animated video media has an effect compared to leaflet media on HIV/AIDS knowledge. There is a difference in adolescent knowledge about HIV/AIDS before and after being given counseling with animated video media and leaflet media in adolescents.

Abstract

Hypertension in pregnancy is one of the reason main maternal morbidity and mortality. Suboptimal treatment can increase risk postpartum complications. Initiation Early Breastfeeding (IMD) is suspected own effect physiological in lower pressure blood through release oxytocin triggers relaxation and vasodilation. However, evidence empirical about the influence of IMD on change pressure blood in the mother giving birth with hypertension Still limited. Analyze influence action Initiation Early Breastfeeding (IMD) against change pressure blood in the mother giving birth with hypertension. Study quasi-experiment with design pretest–posttest control group design conducted on 60 mothers giving birth with hypertension, consisting of from the right IMD group time (n=30) and slow IMD (n=30). The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Pressure blood systole and diastole are measured before and after IMD action. Normality test use Kolmogorov–Smirnov, and the differences before after analyzed use paired t-test. The right IMD group time show decline significant pressure blood systolic (mean 2.5 mmHg; p=0.000) and diastolic (mean 2.63 mmHg; p=0.001). In the slow IMD group, the decrease pressure blood systolic (0.3 mmHg; p=0.510) and diastolic (1.1 mmHg; p=0.068) were not significant. Correlation test obtained p=0.000 both at pressure blood systole and pressure diastolic blood pressure in the IMD group was correct time. IMD is right time effective lower pressure blood systole and diastole significant in mothers giving birth with hypertension compared to slow IMD. IMD has the potential become safe and beneficial non - pharmacological interventions for stabilization postpartum hemodynamics.

Abstract

Compliance Antiretroviral (ARV) treatment in mothers pregnant women infected with HIV are component important in prevent HIV transmission from Mother to children and achieve viral load suppression. However, various factor like effect side medication, lack of knowledge, stigma, and duration treatment can lower compliance patients. Objective to know influence Daily Text Message intervention on compliance ARV treatment in mothers HIV-infected pregnant women at the Community Health Center Sentani Jayapura Regency. Research use design Quasy Experimental with Pretest-Posttest with Control Group Design on 30 selected respondents through consecutive sampling. Compliance measured use Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8) questionnaire. Analysis using the Wilcoxon test, Spearman correlation, and multiple linear regression. The content validity of the instrument was ensured through the use of a standardized and previously validated MMAS-8. Instrument reliability was supported by prior studies reporting a Cronbach’s alpha of  ≥ 0.80. Although reliability was not re-tested due to the limited sample size, consistent use of the same instrument during pretest and posttest supported measurement reliability. The majority respondents own level compliance high (44%). There is difference significant between mark compliance before and after intervention in groups treatment (p=0.000). The Daily Text Message intervention increased compliance ARV treatment compared group control. Educational factors, effects side medication, and duration of treatment participate influence change MMAS-8 scores. Effective increase compliance ARV treatment in mothers pregnant women infected with HIV. Message text daily can become a supporting strategy for the PPIA program strengthen compliance treatment term long.

Abstract

Hypertension in pregnancy (HDK) is one of the main complications that contribute to maternal and infant morbidity and mortality. This study aims to analyze the placental profile in pregnancies with hypertension and its relationship with the condition of the newborn. This study used an observational analytical design with a case-control approach. The sample consisted of 60 respondents consisting of 30 mothers with HDK (case group) and 30 mothers without hypertension (control group), selected using consecutive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using t-test, Chi-square, and logistic regression with a significance level of p < 0.05. There were significant differences in placental profiles between the case and control groups, where the HDK group had lower weight (420 ± 55 vs 510 ± 60 grams; p = 0.001), diameter (16.5 ± 1.8 vs 18.2 ± 1.5 cm; p = 0.002), and thickness (2.1 ± 0.4 vs 2.8 ± 0.5 cm; p = 0.001). The incidence of infarction (60.0 % vs 20.0%; p = 0.002) and calcification (66.7% vs 26.7%; p = 0.001) was higher in the HDK group. The condition of newborns in the HDK group showed a higher incidence of LBW ( 50.0 % vs. 20.0%; p = 0.015), APGAR <7 (40.0% vs. 16.7%; p = 0.032), and asphyxia (43.3% vs. 16.7%; p = 0.021). Analysis showed that low placental weight (OR=3.8 ; p = 0.008), infarction (OR=4.5; p = 0.004), and calcification (OR=3.9; p = 0.006) were significantly associated with the condition of newborns. Placental profiles in hypertensive pregnancies experienced significant changes and were closely associated with the condition of newborns.
