Abstract

Infrastructure and facility management is a crucial factor in supporting the success of the learning process in schools. Effective and efficient management can create a conducive learning environment and improve the quality of learning. A common problem in schools is the suboptimal management of facilities and infrastructure, both in terms of planning, utilization, and maintenance, which impacts student learning processes and outcomes. This study aims to determine the management of facilities and infrastructure at SMP Negeri 3 Subang and its role in improving the quality of learning. This study used a qualitative approach with a mini-research method. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews with the principal and teachers, and documentation studies related to school facilities and infrastructure. The results indicate that the management of facilities and infrastructure at SMP Negeri 3 Subang has been implemented effectively through the planning, procurement, utilization, and maintenance stages and has made a positive contribution to improving the quality of learning. However, several obstacles remain, such as budget limitations and the lack of adequate maintenance of certain facilities. Therefore, it can be concluded that effective and sustainable management of facilities and infrastructure can improve the quality of learning at SMP Negeri 3 Subang.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Bullying is a social phenomenon that still frequently occurs in schools and is a serious problem in the field of education. This behavior not only impacts the psychological condition of students, such as fear, anxiety, low self-esteem, and trauma, but also affects their social development and academic achievement. Bullying can appear in various forms, both physical, verbal, and psychological, which are influenced by individual factors, family environment, school culture, and the dynamics of social interactions in the community. This study aims to examine the factors causing bullying in the school environment and analyze efforts to overcome it through a pedagogical approach. This study employs a literature review method by examining and analyzing various relevant sources, including educational textbooks, scientific journals, and previous research findings. The results of the study indicate that the role of teachers as educators, mentors, and role models plays a significant role in preventing and overcoming bullying. In addition, the consistent implementation of character education, strengthening the values ​​of empathy and tolerance, and creating a safe, inclusive, and conducive school climate has been shown to be effective in reducing bullying behavior. Therefore, ongoing synergy is needed between teachers, students, parents, and the school to create a safe and comfortable learning environment that supports optimal student development. ABSTRAK Bullying merupakan fenomena sosial yang masih sering terjadi di lingkungan sekolah dan menjadi salah satu permasalahan serius dalam dunia pendidikan. Perilaku ini tidak hanya berdampak pada kondisi psikologis peserta didik, seperti munculnya rasa takut, kecemasan, rendah diri, dan trauma, tetapi juga berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan sosial serta prestasi akademik mereka. Bullying dapat muncul dalam berbagai bentuk, baik fisik, verbal, maupun psikologis, yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor individu, lingkungan keluarga, budaya sekolah, serta dinamika interaksi sosial di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya bullying di lingkungan sekolah serta menganalisis upaya penanggulangannya melalui pendekatan pedagogik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan karya tulis ilmiah ini adalah studi pustaka dengan menelaah dan menganalisis berbagai sumber literatur yang relevan, seperti buku teks pendidikan, jurnal ilmiah, dan hasil penelitian terdahulu. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru sebagai pendidik, pembimbing, dan teladan memiliki kontribusi penting dalam mencegah dan mengatasi bullying. Selain itu, penerapan pendidikan karakter secara konsisten, penguatan nilai-nilai empati dan toleransi, serta penciptaan iklim sekolah yang aman, inklusif, dan kondusif terbukti efektif dalam menekan perilaku bullying. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sinergi yang berkelanjutan antara guru, peserta didik, orang tua, dan pihak sekolah guna menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman, nyaman, dan mendukung perkembangan peserta didik secara optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in-depth the management of learning based on the Sundanese local wisdom value of hade tata hade basa in the process of internalizing elementary school students' character. The urgency of this research is based on the phenomenon of student character degradation as an implication of globalization and digital technology, as well as the suboptimal integration of local cultural values ​​into learning practices. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research subjects included principals, teachers, and students at SDN 2 Babakancikao and SDN 1 Mulyamekar in Purwakarta Regency. Data collection was conducted through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies, while data analysis referred to the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results indicate that the management of learning based on the value of hade tata hade basa has not been implemented optimally and systematically. At the planning stage, the integration of local wisdom values ​​has not been explicitly formulated in the learning materials. At the implementation stage, internalization of values ​​is carried out through habituation practices, but is not supported by structured pedagogical strategies. Meanwhile, at the evaluation stage, assessments are still oriented towards cognitive aspects and do not specifically accommodate character indicators. Supporting factors include a conducive school culture and leadership support, while inhibiting factors include limited teacher competency and a lack of implementation guidance. These findings underscore the need to strengthen integrated learning management based on local cultural values ​​to continuously improve the effectiveness of student character internalization.
