Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang terkandung dalam sarung tenun sutra cura’ labba sebagai sumber belajar IPS berbasis etnopedagogi di SMP Askari Pallangga. 2) penggunaan sarung tenun sutra cura’ labba sebagai sumber belajar IPS berbasis etnopedagogi di SMP Askari Pallangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru IPS, dan siswa kelas IX.A SMP Askari Pallangga. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) sarung tenun sutra cura’ labba mengandung nilai-nilai kearifan lokal seperti sejarah, adat istiadat, gotong royong dan kesabaran. Nilai-nilai tersebut relevan diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran IPS karena berfungsi sebagai pedoman perilaku sekaligus sarana pembentukan karakter siswa. 2) penggunaan sarung tenun sutra cura’ labba terbukti efektif meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap budaya lokal. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya antusiasme siswa, keterlibatan aktif dalam diskusi, serta kemampuan mengaitkan materi pelajaran dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya pemanfaatan sumber belajar berbasis etnopedagogi dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang kontekstual, bermakna, dan berorientasi pada pelestarian budaya lokal.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively examine the effectiveness of the Flipped Classroom model on mathematics learning time management through a literature review approach. The research method used is a literature review by analyzing and synthesizing findings from ten relevant studies published between 2020 and 2025, obtained from the Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar databases. The results of the study show that the consistent application of the Flipped Classroom is able to optimize the use of face-to-face time by shifting the delivery of material to independent learning before class, so that class time can be focused on discussion, problem solving, and deepening concepts. In addition to increasing time efficiency, this model also contributes positively to student active engagement, concept understanding, learning achievement, and interest in mathematics. However, several challenges in its implementation were also identified, including the high time requirement for material preparation, limited guidance during independent learning, and dependence on technological readiness. Overall, the Flipped Classroom is an effective learning alternative to support mathematics learning time management when designed and implemented appropriately.

Abstract

This study analyzes the development and impact of FOKUS!, a web-based scheduling application designed to help individuals, particularly students and professionals, manage time and tasks effectively. The system was built using an Agile approach across three sprints, involving UI/UX design, backend setup with Next.js and Supabase, and implementation of task management and notification features. Results from White Box testing indicated 100% frontend code coverage, with stable component rendering and logic validation. Black Box testing confirmed that core features—registration, login, task CRUD, and reminders— functioned as intended. Feasibility studies showed that the system is viable technically, economically, and organizationally. Users appreciated the intuitive interface and real-time synchronization. The system is expected to positively impact productivity and time efficiency. Future improvements include enhancing backend testing, integrating external calendar services, and conducting user acceptance testing to ensure a better user experience.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the types of illocutionary speech acts most frequently produced by lecturers and students during online classroom interactions. Focusing on the illocutionary dimension, the study explores how language is used to convey intentions, requests, and social interactions in educational settings. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, analyzing interactions based on Searle and Yule’s speech act theories. Data were collected from recorded online class sessions, transcribed, and systematically coded to identify patterns of speech acts. The findings indicate that directive acts are the most dominant, reflecting attempts by speakers to elicit actions from others. Assertive acts, which demonstrate the speaker’s authority and provide information, were the second most frequent. Expressive acts, conveying emotions, attitudes, or respect, appeared less frequently, while commissive acts, related to commitments to future actions, were the least observed. These results highlight the central role of directive and assertive speech in managing online classroom interactions and facilitating effective communication. The study suggests that awareness of speech act patterns can enhance teaching strategies, improve student engagement, and reduce miscommunication in online learning environments.

Abstract

This critical review aims to evaluate the Grade X Senior High School Mathematics textbook (2023 Revised Edition) of the Kurikulum Merdeka, specifically on the Data Analysis topic. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method using document analysis to assess various aspects, including the consistency of the conceptual map, the relevance of the material to learning objectives, the essence of the content, and the strengths and weaknesses of the book's substance. The findings indicate that the textbook generally covers the fundamental concepts of descriptive statistics and is highly relevant in supporting the development of students' data literacy and interpretation skills through real-life contexts. However, several significant weaknesses were identified, such as a conceptual map structure that is not fully hierarchical and lacks consistent connecting words, the use of unconventional terminology, and learning objectives that do not fully meet the ABCD (Audience, Behavior, Condition, Degree) operational criteria. Furthermore, some exercises still tend to emphasize routine calculation procedures rather than deep reasoning, and there is a high dependency on the teacher's ability to facilitate discussions. Based on these findings, it is recommended to revise the systematic structure of the material map, refine the learning objectives to be more measurable, and strengthen content that encourages Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) through technology integration and reflective activities.
