Abstract

Modern education faces growing challenges, including academic pressure, digital media exposure, and moral decline, which demand a strategic rethinking of learning environments. In Islamic education, the goal is to develop insan kamil individuals who are intellectually capable, spiritually grounded, and morally upright. However, existing practices often prioritize cognitive achievement while neglecting spiritual and psychological dimensions. This study aims to analyze strategies for developing holistic learning environments that integrate spiritual and psychological aspects within Islamic educational settings. A qualitative library research method was employed, utilizing content analysis to systematically examine books, journal articles, and academic sources from relevant databases. The findings reveal that effective holistic learning environments are established through six interconnected strategies: integrative curriculum design linking religious and general knowledge, structured classroom management fostering emotional safety, spiritually enriched physical settings, value-based school culture grounded in akhlaq al-karimah, cultivation of emotional intelligence aligned with Islamic principles of self-purification, and active collaboration among schools, families, and communities. These findings imply that a balanced integration of spiritual values and psychological well-being is essential for holistic student development. Educational institutions should adopt this integrated framework to produce students who are academically competent, emotionally stable, and spiritually grounded.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the philosophical perspective on the meaning of life and the role of Islamic education within the national education system. The research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, through the analysis of philosophical literature, the thoughts of Islamic and Western scholars, and educational policies in Indonesia. The findings indicate that, from an Islamic perspective, human beings have dual roles as servants of God and vicegerents (khalifah) on earth, which require an educational system that balances intellectual, moral, and spiritual dimensions. Islamic education plays a strategic role in shaping insan kamil, a complete human being characterized by faith, knowledge, and noble character. Within the national education system, Islamic education has been integrated through institutions such as pesantren, madrasah, and Islamic schools, although challenges remain in the integration of Islamic values. Therefore, strengthening a holistic and integrative educational approach is necessary to produce a generation that is both morally grounded and capable of facing contemporary challenges

Abstract

Manajemen ibadah dan pengaturan waktu selama Ramadan menjadi tantangan bagi pekerja fisik dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara tuntutan kerja dan kualitas spiritual. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kesadaran dan kemampuan Pekerja Gontor Putri Kampus 2 dalam menjaga konsistensi ibadah wajib, meningkatkan kualitas ibadah saat berpuasa, serta mengatur waktu dzikir dan membaca Al-Qur’an agar tetap selaras dengan aktivitas pekerjaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui tahapan pemetaan (to look), refleksi (to think), dan pelaksanaan program (to act) berupa kajian manajemen ibadah dan pendampingan spiritual. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui angket responden. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 90,5% responden memberikan respons positif (skor 4 dan 5). Secara umum, program ini efektif dalam membangun kesadaran bahwa manajemen ibadah dan waktu merupakan bagian penting dari profesionalisme kerja yang bernilai ibadah serta penguatan spiritual di lingkungan kerja.

Abstract

Fiqh learning at the Al-Hijrah Islamic Boarding School in Ngawi still faces obstacles in the form of low student activity and learning outcomes due to the use of less varied methods and the lack of interesting learning media. This is evident from the average initial grade of grade 1 in the 2024/2025 academic year which only reached 3.8 and did not meet the completion criteria. This study aims to describe the application of Scrapbook media and analyze the increase in student activity and learning outcomes in Fiqh. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method using the Kemmis and McTaggart model which was implemented in two cycles through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 43 students in grade 1. Data were collected through observation, written tests, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively quantitatively with percentages and comparisons between cycles supported by qualitative analysis. The results of the study showed an increase in learning activity from 48.8% in cycle I to 77.2% in cycle II, as well as an increase in the completion of learning outcomes from 46.5% to 100%. These findings indicate that Scrapbook media is effective in increasing female students' active participation and understanding of Fiqh material through visual, engaging, and interactive presentation. Thus, Scrapbooks can be an effective alternative learning medium for improving the quality of learning processes and outcomes.
