Abstract

ABSTRACT The important role of the family in the mother's ability to provide exclusive breastfeeding to her child is one factor. The mother gets full support so she can care for her child well. The external factor that most influences the success of exclusive breastfeeding is family support. Exclusive breastfeeding will not be successful if family support is lacking. Some breastfeeding mothers still have difficulty producing breast milk in the right way. Three-quarters of a dozen breastfeeding mothers were respondents in this study. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, SOP sheets and observation sheets. Data analysis was carried out by considering research ethics and using editing, coding and tabulation. Analysis was carried out before and after intervention using the McNemar test. The aim is to find out how family support influences oxytocin massage for ease of breastfeeding. There is strong evidence that there is a substantial change in breastfeeding fluency between pretest and posttest, as shown by the findings of the McNemar test which produces a significance value (sig.) of 0.00. The operational area of the Arjasa Community Health Center will be the research location from October 2022 to January 2023. Based on the Chi Square test findings, characteristics that can interfere with smooth breastfeeding do not show a significant relationship. It is recommended that more research be carried out to find out whether maternal massage significantly affects how well breast milk flows.

Abstract

Mothers' confidence in providing breast milk to babies is positively associated with increasing breastfeeding duration in various cultures and age groups. It's just that most breastfeeding mothers who are giving birth for the first time feel less confident so that breast milk doesn't flow smoothly. So it requires family support close to the mother, namely the grandmother. Smooth breastfeeding occurs if the mother is relaxed and comfortable. This comfort can be achieved by massage effuerage and listening to murottal Al-Qur'an. The design carried out in this research was a quasi-experiment using a one test only design. This research was conducted in the Arjasa Community Health Center Work Area, Situbondo Regency. The research was conducted in December 2023 - February 2024. The population in this study was post partum mothers who were in the TPMB working area of the Arjasa Health Center. The sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling. This research reveals the importance of involving family members, in this case grandmothers, in the context of caring for the mother of the baby, because in this cultural environment, there seems to be a value on the bonds that exist between these women, which benefits the family. intergenerational transmission of knowledge, experience and insight.

Abstract

Complementary therapies such as areola and booster massage can effectively support the production of breast milk. Mothers will be satisfied with nursing if there is maximum milk production. This is where breastfeeding succeeds. Although Al-Quran murottal and further relaxation from Jitu Oil have many advantages, nursing moms have not always used them to their full potential. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Rolling Areola Massage Using Jitu Oil and Al-Quran Murottal Relaxation on the satisfaction of breastfeeding mothers. The research population with total sampling with a total of 64 respondents. Instrument measurement using Pearson Product Moment Validity Test. Pre and post test results using Kolmogorov Smirnov Normality Test and chi square test. Interpretation of the Wilcoxon test results obtained p0.001 which means that breastfeeding satisfaction between pretest and posttest is significantly different with all respondents experiencing an increase in breastfeeding satisfaction. Efforts to increase maternal satisfaction in breastfeeding need to be a breastfeeding promotion strategy. A mother who is satisfied with breastfeeding can influence other mothers to do the same, making the breastfeeding satisfaction approach more relevant. Therefore, strategies to increase mothers' satisfaction with breastfeeding should be incorporated into exclusive breastfeeding promotion programmes.

Abstract

The negative influence of grandmother's advice about breastfeeding is related to wrong knowledge and not intentional. When they have adequate information, grandmothers' roles in feeding their grandchildren will be vulnerable and changeable, resulting in better feeding patterns. During the postpartum period, grandmothers can also pass on to their children information that is very useful for daughters/daughters-in-law, some of which can also hinder breastfeeding. In this research, we will examine the effect of Al-Qur'an murottal and Effleurage massage using Jitu Oil on breastfeeding independence in mothers assisted by breastfeeding grandmothers. Postpartum mothers who are giving birth for the first time will be confused about what steps need to be taken to meet the baby's nutritional needs, so the role of those closest to them, especially grandmothers, is needed in ensuring this is achieved. This research uses a quasi-experimental design using a one test only design. Abstract

The increasing burden of global diseases, particularly non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disorders, has become a major challenge for healthcare systems in many countries, including Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the relationship between lifestyle and healthy behavior with the effectiveness of preventive strategies in reducing disease risk. The research used a quantitative approach through a survey of 190 productive-age respondents in urban and semi-urban areas. Data were collected using closed-ended questionnaires based on a Likert scale and analyzed using Pearson correlation and simple linear regression. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between a healthy lifestyle particularly physical activity and stress management and the preventive strategies adopted by the community. The main barriers in adopting a healthy lifestyle include limited time, access to facilities, and low health literacy. These findings emphasize the importance of an integrated promotive-preventive approach through cross-sectoral policies and support from digital technology to strengthen healthy living behavior as the foundation of sustainable public health.
