Abstract

Variasi warna diperlukan untuk menarik minat konsumen dengan menggunakan pewarna alami yang tidak berpengaruh terhadap rasa dan tekstur produk. Kayu secang sering digunakan sebagai pewarna alami makanan dan bahan tekstil karena mengandung senyawa brazilin yang mampu menghasilkan warna kuning. Faktor perlakuan yang digunakan yaitu variasi konsentrasi ekstrak kayu secang yang terdiri dari 3 taraf, yaitu 1%, 2%, dan 3%. Parameter analisis yang diamati adalah analisis organoleptik yang terdiri dari uji hedonik dan sensori untuk menentukan formulasi terpilih dan dilanjut dengan analisis kimia yang terdiri dari uji proksimat dan antioksidan pada formulasi terpilih tersebut. Keripik pangsit dengan penambahan ekstrak kayu secang 3% menghasilkan produk dengan karakteristik sensori warna jingga pucat kecokelatan, rasa gurih sedikit berbau rempah, tekstur renyah dan aroma khas keripik pangsit goreng. Karakteristik kimia uji proksimat yaitu kadar air 2,00%, kadar abu 0,65%, kadar protein 14,44%, kadar lemak 57,00%, kadar karbohidrat 25,90%, dan uji antioksidan sebesar 46,495 ppm.

Abstract

Salah satu potensi di Indonesia yang dapat dikembangkan sebagai bahan pangan dan bahan baku industri adalah tanaman sagu. Tanaman sagu mudah dibudidayakan dan tidak membutuhkan perlakuan khusus karena memiliki kemampuan tumbuh di lahan marginal. Banyaknya potensi sagu yang dapat diaplikasikan secara luas, maka harus memperhatikan kualitas mutunya. Tujuan kajian ini untuk mempelajari karakteristik mutu kimia pada beberapa sampel pati sagu lokal yang ada di Indonesia. Analisis dilakukan pada parameter kadar air, kadar abu, kadar pati dan derajat keasaman. Analisis kadar air dilakukan dengan metode gravimetri dengan proses pemanasan dalam oven, kadar abu dengan metode gravimetri dengan proses pengabuan dalam tanur, kadar pati dengan metode luff-schoorl sedangkan derajat keasaman dengan metode titrasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa dari parameter kadar air, pada sampel Sukabumi, Udang dan Pekanbaru belum memenuhi syarat mutu SNI 3729:2008, namun untuk parameter kadar abu, kadar pati dan derajat keasaman dari keenam sampel telah memenuhi persyaratan mutu SNI 3729:2008.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The important role of the family in the mother's ability to provide exclusive breastfeeding to her child is one factor. The mother gets full support so she can care for her child well. The external factor that most influences the success of exclusive breastfeeding is family support. Exclusive breastfeeding will not be successful if family support is lacking. Some breastfeeding mothers still have difficulty producing breast milk in the right way. Three-quarters of a dozen breastfeeding mothers were respondents in this study. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, SOP sheets and observation sheets. Data analysis was carried out by considering research ethics and using editing, coding and tabulation. Analysis was carried out before and after intervention using the McNemar test. The aim is to find out how family support influences oxytocin massage for ease of breastfeeding. There is strong evidence that there is a substantial change in breastfeeding fluency between pretest and posttest, as shown by the findings of the McNemar test which produces a significance value (sig.) of 0.00. The operational area of ​​the Arjasa Community Health Center will be the research location from October 2022 to January 2023. Based on the Chi Square test findings, characteristics that can interfere with smooth breastfeeding do not show a significant relationship. It is recommended that more research be carried out to find out whether maternal massage significantly affects how well breast milk flows.

Abstract

AbstractUV radiation can lead production of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) on the skin and can cause negative effects1. Sun protector and antioxidant ingredients are needed to protect the skin2. Phenolic compounds and flavonoids have been used as sun protectors and as antioxidants3. Pouteria campechiana is known for its high abundance of phenolic compounds4. This study reported the phytochemical group, total phenol and total flavonoid content, antioxidant activity, and sun protector factor of ethanol extracts of pulp, seed, leaves, and twigs of Pouteria campechiana. Determination of antioxidant activity, sun protection factor, and total phenol and total flavonoid content were carried out using UV-visible spectrophotometry. Crude drugs and extract of pulp, seed, twig, and leaves P.campechiana containing phenolic group, tannin, and flavonoid. The leaf extract had the highest total phenolic content, while the highest total flavonoid content was in the seed extract. All of the extracts tested had very strong antioxidant activity indicated by the Antioxidant Activity Index (AAI) to DPPH value, >2. At a concentration of 1000 µg/mL, the leaf extract showed the highest SPF value, 16.01 ± 0.38.The conclusion, the leaf extract had the potential to further as a natural antioxidant, and sun protector. AbstrakPaparan radiasi UV dapat meningkatkan produksi Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) sebagai radikal bebas dan dapat menimbulkan efek negatif pada kulit. Dibutuhkan senayawa aktif sebagai fotoprotektor dan senyawa penangkal radikal bebas yang disebut antioksidan untuk melindungi kulit. Golongan senyawa fenol dan flavonoid dapat menyerap radiasi UV dan menangkal radikal bebas. Pouteria campechiana dilaporkan mengandung senyawa fenol. Penelitian ini melaporkan golongan senyawa kimia, kadar fenol dan flavonoid total, aktivitas antioksidan terhadap DPPH dan aktivitas fotoprotektor yang menggunakan parameter nilai Sun Protector Factor (SPF) dari ekstrak etanol daging buah, biji, ranting dan daun Poteria campechiana. Ativitas antioksidan, nilai SPF, kadar fenol total, dan flavonoid total diukur secara spektrofotometri UV-Sinar tampak. Hasil penelitin menunjukkan simplisia dan ekstrak etanol daging buah, biji, ranting dan daun P.campechiana mengandung golongan senyawa fenoli, tanin, dan flavonoid. Ekstrak etanol daun memiliki kadar fenol total tertinggi, sedangkan kadar flavonoid total tertinggi ada pada ekstrak etanol biji. Keempat ekstrak tergolong pada antioksidan sangat kuat, dengan parameter nilai AAI >2. Pada konsentrasi 1000 µg/mL, ekstrak daun menunjukkan nilai SPF tertinggi yaitu sebesar 16,01 ± 0,38. Kesimpulan, ekstrak etanol daun P.campechiana lebih berpotensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai bahan baku aktif antioksidan alami dan fotoprotektor.

Abstract

This massage oil is called Jitu Oil, which means complementary therapy massage oil. The addition of oil is expected to help facilitate the massage process and provide relaxation for nursing mothers, and can produce hormones that play a major role in the process of lactation and breastfeeding to the fullest. The oil used virgin coconut oil with the addition of lavender and lime to add relaxation during the massage process. This research is an experimental research with 5 treatments. The location of the research was carried out in the Working Area of the Arjasa Health Center. The time of the research was conducted from February to March 2023. The population in this study were breastfeeding mothers. The sample in this study consisted of 31 respondentused simple random sampling technique. The clarity test was found to be clear without impurities, the chemical test showed the substances contained in the oil and the organoleptic test p-value = 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference between the composition and the organoleptic quality parameters of color. If seen from the Mean Rank value, it shows that F5 is higher than the others. p-value = 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference between the composition of the organoleptic aroma quality parameters. If seen from the Mean Rank value, it shows that F4 is higher than the others. So that Jitu Oil can be widely used and produced to complement massage for nursing mothers.

Abstract

Student engagement in school is influenced by various factors, one of which is related to student perceptions of teacher support. Positive and negative student perceptions of the support provided affect student involvement in the classroom. This study aims to determine the role of student perceptions related to teacher support on student engagement. The method uses a quantitative approach method. The population in this study were 232 students of SMP X Makassar City with a sample of 145 students obtained through accidental sampling techniques. Data is collected through questionnaire use Scale student engagement adaptation of 22 items (CFI = 0.924; TLI = 0.903; RMSEA = 0.0497) with McDonald's reliability = 0.873 and the teacher support adaptation scale is 11 items (CFI = 0.955; TLI = 0.940; RMSEA = 0.0577) with McDonald's reliability = 0.853. The results of this study indicate that student perception of teacher support have role and manner significant influential towards student engagement among students at SMP X Makassar City with contribution amounting to 23.8%. Implications in study This is perception student related teacher support is influential on student engagement be a better teacher give capable support​ in effort For make student own positive perception​ related support provided by teachers.
