Abstract

General Background: Cultural traditions such as Pantauan Lebaran play a central role in shaping Indonesia’s communal identity. Specific Background: In Ribang Kemambang, Lahat Regency, this Eid al-Fitr visitation ritual persists amid accelerating modernization and digital transformation. Knowledge Gap: However, limited studies examine how this customary practice adapts to contemporary social changes while retaining its moral and cultural essence. Aim: This study investigates the current form, meanings, and adaptive strategies of Pantauan Lebaran as a dynamic cultural system. Results: Using qualitative ethnographic methods, the study finds that the ritual strengthens social cohesion, reinforces Islamic values such as silaturahmi and birrul walidain, and remains resilient through mechanisms like digital coordination, youth involvement, and flexible implementation. Novelty: The research reveals Pantauan Lebaran as a glocalized cultural practice where local wisdom and global modernity coexist, demonstrating reflexive cultural transformation rather than decline. Implications: These findings highlight the community’s capacity to preserve cultural identity while engaging with modern social realities, offering insights for cultural sustainability, Islamic educational development, and policy frameworks supporting local traditions in the digital era. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis transformasi Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam perspektif epistemologis, pedagogis, dan evaluatif pada perkembangan pendidikan kontemporer. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode literature review melalui kajian berbagai literatur ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan transformasi Pendidikan Agama Islam. Sumber data terdiri atas artikel jurnal, buku akademik, prosiding, dan dokumen ilmiah yang relevan dengan fokus penelitian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis isi (content analysis) melalui tahapan reduksi data, kategorisasi, interpretasi, dan sintesis konseptual. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa transformasi Pendidikan Agama Islam mencakup perubahan sumber pengetahuan, cara memperoleh pengetahuan, serta sistem pembelajaran dan evaluasi pendidikan agama. Sumber pengetahuan dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam berkembang dari orientasi yang berpusat pada teks normatif menuju pendekatan yang lebih integratif melalui pemanfaatan literatur akademik, penelitian ilmiah, dan media digital tanpa meninggalkan Al-Qur’an dan Hadis sebagai landasan utama. Transformasi pedagogis memperlihatkan perubahan pembelajaran dari teacher centered learning menuju student centered learning melalui pendekatan diskusi, problem based learning, project based learning, dan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman. Perkembangan teknologi digital, perubahan kurikulum nasional, perkembangan teori pendidikan, serta perubahan karakteristik peserta didik menjadi faktor utama yang mendorong transformasi Pendidikan Agama Islam. Transformasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan Agama Islam terus berkembang secara dinamis agar tetap relevan, kontekstual, dan adaptif terhadap perubahan sosial serta perkembangan pendidikan modern.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of Islamic educational evaluation principles based on the Qur'an and Hadith at SD Negeri 21 Pagar Alam. The main issue raised is how Islamic evaluative values, such as justice ('adl), honesty (shidq), and responsibility (amanah), are implemented in the process of assessing student learning outcomes. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that teachers at SD Negeri 21 Pagar Alam have attempted to integrate Islamic evaluation values ​​into their teaching practices, particularly in assessing students' attitudes and spirituality. However, their implementation still faces challenges related to consistency and teachers' understanding of evaluation principles rooted in the Qur'an and Hadith. These findings emphasize the importance of ongoing training for educators to internalize religious values ​​in educational evaluation. Thus, evaluation not only assesses academic outcomes but also directs the development of character and noble morals in students in accordance with the goals of Islamic education.
