AbstractThe aim of this community service are to provide the participant as the commitee member of Aisyiyah the knowledge of basic journalism in order they could write a good news to be published on their official media. Based on the observation and request from the Aisyiyah Organization, they have a problem when writing the article/news because the lack understanding on basics journalism and news writing technique. The method used in this training were lecturing session, discussion and direct assistance on writing the news. There were 30 representatives of the Aisyiyah Commitee from branch and regional office invited to this activity. The result of the training shows a significant improvement fromt he participant that can be seen on the pre-test and post-test result. There is a quite significant increase of 12% which is shows that the training material and method can be easily be understood well by the participant. At the end of the training, the participant are able to write a proper news and article to be published on their official website.Keywords: news writing, online media, writing technique, journalism, community services

Political satire in form of Nurhadi-Aldo meme arise ahead of Presidential Election 2019 was one of the society reaction towards the massive black or negative campaign happening nowadays. These fictitious couple emerge as a form of refreshment that could entertain the society through its humorous meme. This research aims to explore about the word play used in Nurhadi-Aldo meme. This research conducted in qualitative research using observation and noting data collection technique, and then the researcher used the descriptive method for the data analysis. The result of this research shows two language aspects used in this meme; phonological and semantic aspects. There are two strategies used in phonological aspects; using rime and sound repetition. There are 5 strategies used in semantic aspects; using proverbs, abbreviation, polysemi, metafora and syllogism.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas komunikasi massa yang digunakan pasangan Jokowi-Ahok dalam Pilkada Jakarta 2012. Khususnya padaÂ jenis efek komunikasi massa yang muncul dari pasangan Jokowi Ahok pada Pilkada DKI Jakarta tahun 2012. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yakni penelitian yang bekerja dengan angka, datanya berwujud bilangan (skor atau nilai, peringkat, frekuensi), dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik untuk menjawab pertanyaan atau hipotesis penelitian yang sifatnya spesifik dan untuk melakukan prediksi bahwa suatu variabel tertentu mempengaruhi variabel yang lain. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada Pilkada DKI Jakarta 2012, pasangan Jokowi-Ahok dalam komunikasi massanya berhasil mempengaruhi simpatisan dan pendukungnya dalam tiga aspek yaitu; aspek kognitif, aspek afektif, dan behavioral.

Abstract Pidato Bung Karno yang disampaikan dengan berapi-api selalu sarat dengan pesan ideologi kebangsaan. Melalui wacana di setiap pidatonya, Presiden Soekarno mencoba untuk menyuarakan perlawanan terhadap kolonialisme serta membangkitkan semangat juang untuk bangkit. Dalam penelitian ini, akan diteliti lebih lanjut dengan analisis wacana kritis dalam pidato kenegaraan Soekarno yang berjudul Masa Konfrontasi: Pidato Presiden Sukarno pada Konperensi Kedua Negara-Negara Non-Blok di Kairo? Serta ideologi apa saja yang menyertainya.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode simak. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wacana tulis yang ada dalam naskah pidato yang disampaikan oleh presiden Soekarno pada KTT Non Blok di KairoHasil dari penelitian ini melalui analisis struktur wacana mikro melalui 1) leksikon, 2) stilistika, 3) sintaksis dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat beberapa ideologi yang ingin disampaikan oleh Bung Karno melalui pidatonya tersebut. Salah satunya adalah tentang kemerdekaan yang nyata. Kemerdekaan nyata yang dimaksud yaitu kebebasan untuk menyelenggarakan urusan-urusan politik, ekonomi dan sosial sejalan dengan konsepsi-konsepsi nasional masing-masing negara, sehingga tidak ada campur tangan negara lain. Sedangkan ideologi lain yang ingin diusung oleh Presiden Soekarno adalah untuk menyeru negara-negara di dunia untuk melawan imperialisme, kolonialisme, neo-imperialisme dan neo-imperialisme tanpa rasa takut. critical in Soekarno's state speech entitled Period of Confrontation: Speech of President Sukarno at the Conference of the Two Non-Aligned Nations in Cairo? As well as any ideologies that accompany it. This research is a descriptive study of Bung Karno's speech delivered in a fiery manner, always filled with messages of national ideology. Through the discourse in each of his speeches, President Soekarno tried to voice resistance to colonialism and arouse fighting spirit to rise. In this study, it will be investigated further with qualitative discourse analysis. The data collection method used in this study is the referral method. The data used in this research is written discourse in the speech delivered by President Sukarno at the Non-Aligned Summit in Cairo. The results of this study through analysis of the structure of micro discourse through 1) lexicon, 2) stylistics, 3) syntax can be concluded that there are several ideologies that Bung Karno wants to convey through his speech. One of them is about real independence. The real independence in question is freedom to carry out political, economic and social affairs in line with the national conceptions of each country, so that there is no interference from other countries. While the other ideology that President Soekarno wanted to carry out was to call on countries in the world to fight imperialism, colonialism, neo-imperialism and neo-imperialism without fear.

The low literacy of children in Indonesia is quite alarming because it can affect the competence of critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration that Indonesian children should have. One of the effective ways to ensure that the 4C competency mastery is achieved is by improving and fostering the reading literacy skills of Indonesian children. The purpose of this community service activity is to introduce children literature to children with the aim of increasing their interest in reading and literacy from an early age. It is hoped that in the future, by knowing and reading various literary works, moral values and the cultivation of good character can be given to children. By carrying out this training, it is hoped that students can produce a simple children's work / story in the form of an anthology work. The method of implementing this activity is divided into three stages, namely; the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the final reporting stage. This activity involved two students, namely Rida Alifia (Indonesian Literature Department) and Andini Mandala Putri (English Literature Department). The community service activity partner is SD Negeri Gentan, and community service activity is conducted in SD Negeri Gentan on 21 November 2020, 28 November 2020, 5 December 2020 and 12 December 2020 through zoom meeting online. This activity was attended by 47 students of SD Negeri Gentan and was very well appreciated by the students and teachers. Students can listen well to 4 children's stories submitted by team members. They are able to answer well and retell the contents of the children's stories. The targets and outputs of this community service activity are scientific publication manuscripts published in journals, articles published in print media, activity videos, and IPR certificates. The output target that has been achieved is the production of children's story videos that have been uploaded on the YouTube channel of the Indonesian Literature Study Program, while other output targets such as publication texts and IPR certificates are in process. The use of the word “anjing” by millennials today shows a variety of new meanings. Different context brought different variation that create semantics symptoms; change of meaning. The various functions of “anjing” and its variants range from expressing the expression of surprise, admiration, annoyance, greeting to show the familiarity. The purpose of this study, the authors want to describe the meaning and the variation of “anjing” used by millennials. There are 4 step of the research, i.e 1) the analysis of the lexical meaning, 2) the analysis of the contextual meaning, 3) the component analysis of the meaning, 4) the validation of data findings and the result obtained are the expansion of the meaning and variations of “anjing”. The result, the word “anjing” has experience an expansion of meaning, i.e. annoyed, angry, surprised, cursed, amazed, delicious, disappointed, did not expect and funny.Keywords: Anjing, change of meaning, semantics, millenials, variation

This article discusses the lexical variations of the Javanese language in traditional snack name in Palang subdistrict, Tuban Regency. The reason for choosing this object of research, is to explain the dialect variation especially in traditional snack naming among the society and to explain the reasons of lexical variation. This article focusses on two research questions, (1) Lexical variation on traditional snack name in Palang subdistrict, Tuban Regency, (2) The causative factor of lexical variations. This research used qualitative descriptive. The data of 45 gloss traditional snack name were collected through 19 observation point from 19 village in Palang subdistrict using field method and proficient method. The research funding of this article found the lexical variations on traditional snack naming are as follows; 1) Group without variation (22 gloss), 2) Group with variations (18 gloss) which consists of 2, 3, 4 and 6 form of lexical variations. The causative factor of the lexical variations due to the way of living and geographic factor.

This research is motivated by the importance of understanding the forms of sarcasm uttered by students so that the public knows the purpose of using sarcasm. The problems discussed in this study are (1) the form of sarcasm used by Persada UAD 2019/2020 students based on grammar, (2) the form of sarcasm used by Persada UAD 2019/2020 students based on the content of the speech, and (3) the factors causing Persada UAD students to use the form of sarcasm. This study aims to describe the form of sarcasm among Persada UAD students and find out the factors causing Persada students to use sarcasm among Persada UAD students. Based on the research results regarding the form of using sarcasm by Persada UAD students in 2019/2020, the following conclusions were obtained. (1) The use of sarcasm among the students of Persada UAD in 2019/2020 based on the grammatical basis was found in three forms, namely words, phrases, and clauses. (2) The use of forms of sarcasm among Persada UAD students in 2019/2020 based on the content of the speech found seven forms of sarcasm, namely words containing bitterness, bitter reproaches, expressions of anger, swearing, words that are not pleasant to hear, ridicule, and certain social varieties. (3) The factors causing the students of Persada UAD in 2019/2020 to throw sarcasm found ten factors, namely social background, habits, reflexes, anger, inappropriate place and time, inappropriate participants, goals that did not match the speaker, tone when conveying messages, media language, and norms in interaction.
