Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengalaman siswa kelas 3 di SD N Gedongkuning dalam pembelajaran matematika menggunakan permainan interaktif Wordwall, serta pandangan guru terkait metode ini. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi interaksi siswa dengan Wordwall dan wawancara dengan guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Wordwall menciptakan atmosfer pembelajaran yang dinamis dan menghibur, meningkatkan semangat serta keterlibatan siswa, serta membantu pemahaman materi. Guru menilai Wordwall sebagai perangkat yang efisien untuk memperbaiki semangat dan pemahaman peserta didik. Namun, terdapat kendala teknis, seperti masalah koneksi internet. Secara keseluruhan, Wordwall terbukti efektif sebagai media pembelajaran matematika di kelas 3 SD, meskipun perlu perhatian terhadap kendala teknis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran di SD Negeri Sriharjo serta mengkaji dampaknya terhadap keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar. Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah perlunya media pembelajaran yang mampu mengonkretkan materi dan meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi proses pembelajaran, wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, guru wali kelas IV, V, dan VI, serta siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media audio visual berupa video pembelajaran, animasi edukatif, dan tayangan tematik mampu meningkatkan minat, motivasi, fokus, dan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran. Media audio visual membantu siswa memahami materi yang bersifat abstrak menjadi lebih konkret serta mendorong diskusi dan interaksi kelas yang lebih aktif. Dukungan sarana prasarana sekolah dan peran guru dalam pemilihan media menjadi faktor pendukung keberhasilan, meskipun masih terdapat kendala teknis dan keterbatasan waktu. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media audio visual efektif sebagai solusi pembelajaran kontekstual yang relevan untuk mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dan penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Environmental awareness is an important part of environmental sustainability, but environmental awareness in society, including students, is still low. This can be seen from various studies conducted previously. Eco-literacy is one of the skills that can increase environmental awareness, but it is still rarely studied. This study aims to evaluate how eco-literacy has been implemented, the challenges in implementing eco-literacy, and the ideal implementation of eco-literacy for teachers in elementary school. Data collection was conducted using qualitative methods and quistionnaire techniques. Sixty teachers from Yogyakarta, Central Java, and Jakarta were interviewed. The results of the research show that eco-literacy has been implemented in elementary schools through subjects, the challenges teachers face in implementing eco-literacy are learning methods, media, and learning resources and teachers hope that eco-literacy can be implemented based on constructivist learning theory with appropriate syntax.  Based on the findings in this study, it can be concluded that eco-literacy has been implemented in elementary schools, but there are still many challenges faced so that eco-literacy can be successfully implemented.

Abstract

The success of the learning process is largely determined by the teacher's ability to deliver material and use learning media. Good learning media depends on the availability of facilities and infrastructure in schools, teacher creativity, teacher capacity building, and funding support in making learning media. This study aims to analyze (1) The use of learning media at SD Negeri Bangunjiwo, (2) The obstacles faced by teachers and students during learning using learning media. This research is a descriptive qualitative research using interview and observation data collection techniques. Respondents in this study were the Principal, Low Grade Teacher and Low Grade Students. The results showed that (1) teachers prepare learning media tailored to students' learning styles, (2) obstacles faced when using media are funds, facilities and infrastructure that are less supportive, and different students' knowledge related to learning media. The conclusion of the research is that the use of learning media is proven to improve student learning outcomes. Support from external school parties is needed in providing learning media that can maximize learning activities at school.
