Abstract

This study addresses the challenges of character building within the Pancasila Student Profile (P3), particularly issues of moral degradation and cultural exclusion arising from conventional, academically oriented education systems. It aims to explore how the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach can strengthen the six dimensions of P3 in elementary education.A qualitative case study design was employed at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta, involving six teachers and 90 students from grades IV to VI. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model to identify patterns and themes related to CRT implementation. The findings reveal that the CRT approach significantly enhances student character development. Notable outcomes include increased collaborative engagement in ecobricks projects (Gotong Royong), improved ability to analyze phenomena grounded in local wisdom (Critical Thinking), and strengthened capacity to transform waste into functional products (Creativity). These results demonstrate that integrating sociocultural contexts into teaching fosters active, meaningful learning experiences. Furthermore, the study identifies key factors influencing implementation, including cultural relevance, teacher facilitation, and flexible instructional design. This study contributes theoretically by proposing a pedagogical model that connects the Merdeka Curriculum with local cultural realities, offering a more inclusive and context-sensitive approach to character education. Despite challenges such as limited instructional time, the flexibility of CRT integration sustains its effectiveness. Overall, the findings position CRT as a transformative framework for advancing sustainable character education in the context of globalization.

Abstract

The advancement of blockchain technology has created significant opportunities for transforming the financial sector, particularly banking. One of the most transformative applications of this technology is the smart contract—self-executing digital agreements that automatically enforce predefined conditions without the need for intermediaries. This study presents a systematic literature review of 10 academic publications published between 2020 and 2025 to evaluate the utilization of smart contracts in the banking sector. The analysis focuses on three main dimensions: technical implementation, regulatory compliance, and systemic risk implications. The findings indicate that smart contracts have been implemented in automated lending systems, decentralized identity verification (KYC), asset tokenization, real-time auditing, and blockchain-based payment infrastructures. Despite these advantages, adoption remains constrained by security vulnerabilities in contract code, scalability limitations, interoperability challenges, and regulatory uncertainty across jurisdictions. This study also proposes a conceptual experimental framework for evaluating smart contract performance, security robustness, and compliance readiness within banking environments. The results contribute to a more integrated understanding of how smart contracts can be adopted safely and sustainably in highly regulated financial ecosystems.

Abstract

Abstract

This study examined the prevalence of probable post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and depressive symptoms among Indonesian adults during a public health emergency and investigated whether sleep duration and home quarantine duration mediated the association between crisis-related exposure and psychological distress. A cross-sectional online survey was conducted with 500 Indonesian adults who had experienced health-related home quarantine. PTSD symptoms were measured using the PTSD Checklist–Civilian Version, and depressive symptoms were assessed using the Patient Health Questionnaire-9. Hierarchical regression and mediation analyses were performed. Results showed that 57.8% of participants met the screening cutoff for probable PTSD, while 54.4% met the cutoff for probable depressive symptoms. Distressing media exposure was associated with both outcomes. Sleep duration and home quarantine duration partially mediated the associations between crisis-related exposure and PTSD and depressive symptoms. These findings highlight the importance of media regulation, sleep promotion, and psychological support during future public health emergencies.
