Abstract

Metaverse, the result of the evolution of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technology, has brought revolutionary changes in education by offering an interactive and immersive digital environment. The aim of this research is to investigate the impact of the Metaverse on the design and experience of virtual learning in an educational context. A systematic literature review approach was used to collect and analyze related articles from international databases such as Scopus, IEEE Xplore, and Google Scholar. The analysis results show that Metaverse allows educators to create more dynamic and interactive learning experiences, with the integration of various design models and pedagogical strategies. The implication of this research is that the use of the Metaverse in education has great potential to improve learning effectiveness, although its implementation requires a careful approach to overcome the associated technical and pedagogical challenges.

Abstract

Personalized learning has become a major concern in educational research because of its potential to improve student learning outcomes. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of various personalized learning approaches in improving student learning outcomes. The method used is a systematic literature review which includes analysis of articles from highly reputable databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and PubMed. Research results show that approaches such as adaptive learning systems, competency-based learning, and differentiated instruction can increase student engagement, motivation, and academic achievement. The study also found that factors such as student characteristics, learning context, and learning program design influence the success of personalized learning. The implication of this research is the need to develop more flexible and adaptive learning strategies as well as increase technological support to optimize student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the effectiveness of distance learning (PJJ) strategies in overcoming the digital divide and promoting educational equality in rural areas post-COVID-19 pandemic. Using a systematic literature review approach, this study analyzes various relevant literature, including peer-reviewed articles, research reports, and case studies. The findings show that although PJJ can improve access to education, significant challenges related to digital infrastructure, technology skills, and inclusive education policies still need to be addressed. This research emphasizes the importance of investing in digital infrastructure, training for educators and students, and developing fair policies to support the success of PJJ in rural areas. The results of this research make a significant contribution to the existing literature and offer valuable insights for policy makers, educators, and school administrators in creating equitable learning environments.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of an adaptive learning system based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the development of critical thinking skills (CTS) in various educational contexts. Using a systematic literature review (SLR) approach, this research identifies and analyzes relevant studies published in the last ten years. The analysis results show that the integration of adaptive learning systems supported by AI can improve students' critical thinking skills, with impacts varying depending on factors such as system design, teacher involvement, and educational context. These findings provide valuable insights for educational practitioners and educational technology developers, and recommend future research directions to explore the long-term effects and different cultural contexts on the use of AI technologies for learning.

Abstract

This research discusses the challenges and opportunities faced by the Muslim community in applying artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of education, especially in the context of teaching Islamic values. Using a systematic literature review approach, this research identifies various barriers related to technological infrastructure, accessibility, and ethical considerations that arise from the use of AI. On the other hand, this research also highlights the potential of AI to improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning, and provides examples of successful implementation in various countries. The research results show that collaboration between stakeholders, including educational institutions, ulama, and government, is very important to overcome existing challenges. Policy recommendations and strategies for AI integration in line with Islamic values are also presented. It is hoped that this research can make a significant contribution in understanding the application of AI in Islamic education and pave the way for further research in this area.
