Abstract

Market controversies in Indonesia’s fuel retail sector have prompted consumers to reconsider their fuel provider choices. However, empirical research examining actual switching behaviour in the fuel retail context using the Push–Pull–Mooring (PPM) framework remains limited. This study investigates actual switching behaviour among Indonesian fuel consumers through the PPM framework. Data were collected from 394 respondents using purposive sampling and analysed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The findings show that push and pull factors significantly shape switching intention, which in turn strongly predicts actual switching behaviour. In contrast to traditional PPM assumptions, mooring factors do not exhibit a significant influence in this context. These results suggest that in habitual and low-complexity services, switching behaviour is predominantly intention-driven. This study extends the PPM framework by demonstrating its context-dependent applicability and providing empirical evidence that mooring factors may play a limited role in routine, low-involvement consumption decisions such as fuel purchasing.

Abstract

The internationalization of higher education has become a strategic agenda for universities in enhancing academic quality and global competitiveness. This community service program (PKM) was conducted in Malaysia from 2–5 September 2026 by the Association of Indonesian Lecturers (IDDRI) Banten Province involving delegates from several Indonesian universities. The activities included international seminars, academic discussions, institutional visits, signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with Management and Science University (MSU) and SEGi University, and industrial visits to Kumpulan Media Karangkraf. The program employed participatory and collaborative approaches through knowledge sharing, academic networking, and experiential learning. The results indicated significant achievements in strengthening international partnerships, increasing participants’ global perspectives, expanding opportunities for collaborative research and publications, and enhancing institutional networking. The program demonstrates that international community engagement can effectively support higher education internationalization and contribute to sustainable academic collaboration.

Abstract

Digital transformation encourages organizations, including non-bank financial institutions, to strengthen technology-based leadership while cultivating a digital culture and digital capabilities to achieve sustainable organizational performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital leadership on sustainable organizational performance and examine the mediating role of digital culture and employee digital capabilities. A quantitative approach was used with the Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method on data collected from 166 BMT employees in the Purwokerto and Purbalingga areas. The results show that digital leadership has a positive effect on digital culture, employee digital capabilities, and organizational performance. Furthermore, digital culture is shown to mediate the relationship between digital leadership and sustainable organizational performance; This finding is categorized as partial mediation because the direct influence of digital leadership remains significant. Conversely, employee digital capabilities are unable to mediate the relationship between digital leadership and organizational performance. These findings indicate that digital culture plays a significant role in supporting sustainable organizational performance, while individual capabilities have not shown a significant mediating role. This research provides theoretical contributions to the development of digital leadership literature as well as practical recommendations for non-bank financial institutions to prioritize strengthening digital culture in order to promote organizational sustainability
