Abstract

Sertifikasi halal merupakan instrumen penting dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap produk Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Indonesia. Namun, banyak pelaku UMKM masih menghadapi kendala dalam proses pengurusannya akibat keterbatasan pemahaman terhadap prosedur dan persyaratan administratif. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan dalam proses pengajuan sertifikasi halal pada Dhifa’s Cake, salah satu UMKM di Kota Padang yang bergerak di bidang produksi kue dan bolu. Pendampingan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi, asistensi penyusunan dokumen, bimbingan teknis pengisian data pada sistem SiHalal BPJPH, dan pendampingan verifikasi lapangan dengan pendekatan partisipatif, di mana pelaku usaha aktif terlibat dalam setiap proses pengajuan sertifikasi halal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman pelaku usaha terhadap prosedur sertifikasi halal hingga mampu menyelesaikan proses pengajuan secara mandiri. Dampak kegiatan terlihat pada keberhasilan dalam penerbitan dokumen sertifikasi halal produk, meningkatnya literasi halal, kepercayaan konsumen, dan potensi perluasan pasar. Kegiatan ini membuktikan pentingnya kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi dan UMKM dalam mempercepat sertifikasi halal serta mendukung terwujudnya usaha kuliner yang kompetitif dan berdaya saing di pasar halal nasional.

community, especially in areas that are not fully covered by PDAM services. This study aims to analyze the potential of the Pante Rakyat Reservoir as a raw water source to support the clean water supply system in Babahrot District, Southwest Aceh Regency. The method used involves analyzing clean water needs based on existing population data, population growth projections for the next 5 to 25 years, and the reservoir's capacity. The results show that, out of a total of 12,520 people, approximately 4% of the population lacks access to clean water. Assuming a population growth rate of 3% per year, the estimated need for clean water is projected to reach 954,000 liters per day, or approximately 11.04 liters per second, and increase to 14.49 liters per second over the next five years. The water distribution plan is supported by the design of a 0.24-meter-diameter intake pipe system. The conclusion of this study suggests that the Pante Rakyat Reservoir has significant potential as a long-term raw water source and is worthy of optimization to meet the clean water needs of the Babahrot District community.

Abstract

The rapid development of IoT research in various fields has promoted the evolution of manufacturing in the Industry 4.0 context. However, the growing and dispersed literature makes it difficult to see the dominant trends and open challenges. The aim of the study is to synthesize the existing IoT research in the manufacturing, by analyzing the sectoral adoption, enabling technologies and implementation objectives. The review develops a systematic understanding of the links between manufacturing sectors, IoT technologies and operational priorities to identify dominant research directions and gaps for future research. A systematic literature review was conducted according to the PRISMA guidelines, screening and analysing peer-reviewed studies along three analytical dimensions: distribution by manufacturing sector, typologies of IoT technologies and strategic objectives of implementation. The analysis identified shared adoption patterns in some manufacturing sectors, common use of sensor-based and cloud-enabled technologies, and a high emphasis on productivity, monitoring and efficiency of operations. The results reveal a significant concentration of IoT research in discrete manufacturing, as well as noticeable attention in process manufacturing, healthcare and general manufacturing, while other sectors remain less explored, indicating an uneven research focus across industries. In terms of technology, Industrial IoT and smart manufacturing solutions are the most common, followed by IoT-enabled digital twin technologies, while the combination of IoT with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer vision indicates a growing shift towards more adaptive and intelligent systems. A smaller portion of IoT implementations are related to sensors and monitoring applications, blockchain enabled IoT solutions and distributed architectures, while middleware and system integration appear least often. Regarding implementation objectives, efficiency enhancement is the main driver, followed by predictive maintenance, quality control and productivity enhancement, and real-time monitoring, showing a strong orientation toward improving operational performance. In summary, the synthesis implies that the IoT research in manufacturing is mainly focused on discrete manufacturing applications, operational efficiency objectives, and intelligent automation technologies. The concentration indicates a continued research focus on production optimization, while broader contexts of industrial integration are relatively underexplored.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the digital literacy of seventh-grade students at SMP Ar Risalah Islamic School Padang through training in cloud-based productivity applications. Initial observations indicate that most students still have limitations in utilizing digital technology for learning purposes. This program employed an educational-participatory intervention design, combining structured training with active learner involvement. The implementation followed three main stages: preparation, training delivery over two consecutive days in the school computer laboratory, and evaluation using pre-tests and post-tests. The training introduced students to Google Docs, Google Drive, and Canva as practical learning tools, while also promoting digital ethics aligned with Islamic values such as honesty, discipline, responsible technology use, and nationalism. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively. The evaluation results show a significant improvement in students' digital knowledge and skills. The average cognitive pre-test score was 1.6 (out of 5), increasing to 3.8 on the post-test, representing an increase of 137.5%. The average practical skill score reached 7.6 out of 10. This activity proved effective in equipping students with basic digital skills and fostering positive attitudes toward productive and responsible technology use. This program is recommended for replication in other educational institutions to strengthen students' digital literacy from an early age.

Abstract

Kebijakan pembelian kemasan kardus pada perusahaan pengolahan kelapa sawit selama ini dilakukan dengan frekuensi pemesanan tinggi, yaitu 53 kali per tahun, tanpa mempertimbangkan proyeksi permintaan aktual maupun persediaan pengaman, sehingga berpotensi menurunkan efektivitas pengendalian persediaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan akurasi Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) dan Double Exponential Smoothing (DES) dalam memprediksi permintaan kemasan kardus, serta mengintegrasikan model terbaik dengan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) untuk menetapkan kebijakan persediaan optimal. Analisis dilakukan terhadap data historis permintaan mingguan melalui identifikasi pola data, pengujian stasioneritas, pemodelan ARIMA dan DES, penilaian kinerja peramalan menggunakan Mean Squared Error (MSE) dan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), serta perhitungan EOQ. Model ARIMA (2,1,2) memiliki kinerja lebih baik dibandingkan DES, dengan nilai MSE 17.500.398 dan MAPE 23,7%. Nilai variabilitas permintaan (V) sebesar 0,0111 mengindikasikan pola permintaan bersifat statis sehingga EOQ layak diterapkan. Penerapan EOQ menghasilkan kuantitas pemesanan optimal 39.555 unit dengan frekuensi 14 kali per tahun, menurunkan biaya persediaan sebesar Rp6.450.711,00 atau 48,54% dibandingkan kebijakan perusahaan saat ini. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi model peramalan dengan EOQ mampu meningkatkan efektivitas pengendalian persediaan pada perusahaan pengolahan kelapa sawit.
