Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of teaching staff at the Salafiyah Iqro Islamic Boarding School in Palangka Raya, which includes planning, recruitment, placement, training, rewards, and termination of teaching staff. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, and observation, while data analysis used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results show that teacher management at the Salafiyah Iqro Islamic Boarding School in Palangka Raya is carried out in a simple and familial manner, but still reflects the functions of educational management. Teacher planning is carried out in a simple manner by adjusting to the needs and characteristics of the boarding school. Teacher recruitment is carried out internally through recommendations from the boarding school environment without open announcements. The placement of teaching staff is adjusted to their competence, educational background, and the subjects they teach. The development of teaching staff has not been carried out formally and structurally, but is carried out through guidance from leaders, deliberations, and comparative study activities. Rewards are given in material and non-material forms, while the dismissal of teaching staff is not carried out formally.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of the Equality Education Program in Salafiyah Islamic Boarding Schools (PKPPS) at Pondok Pesantren Darul Amin Palangka Raya, focusing on the Wustho level. The study is motivated by the gap between students’ need for formal educational recognition and the dominance of religious learning in salafiyah pesantren. Although previous studies have examined PKPPS, most have focused on program evaluation based on policy compliance, with limited attention to the operational management aspects, particularly planning and implementation at the institutional level. This limitation indicates a significant research gap, especially in the context of pesantren outside Java. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The findings reveal that program management has been implemented through systematic planning involving internal coordination and external collaboration with the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The implementation combines diniyah (religious) activities and general academic learning based on the 2013 Curriculum. However, an imbalance in time allocation between religious and academic learning was identified, indicating that curriculum integration has not yet been optimal. The novelty of this study lies in its in-depth analysis of PKPPS management at the micro level of pesantren, particularly within the local context of Central Kalimantan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of academic supervision by the principal at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Pesantren Manba'u Darissalam Palangka Raya, focusing on the supervision of the preparation of lesson plans (RPP), the implementation of learning in the classroom, and the assessment of learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type to obtain an in-depth picture of supervisory practices in madrasahs. Data were collected through interviews with the madrasah principal and subject teachers, observation of the learning process in the classroom, and documentation studies of learning tools. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation, and data analysis was carried out through the stages of data condensation, data presentation, and systematic conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the principal's academic supervision has not been implemented optimally because it is not yet planned, systematic, or sustainable, and is not supported by a standard supervision schedule and instruments. The supervision carried out is still administrative in nature, does not touch on the aspects of in-depth professional development of teachers, and does not provide constructive feedback for improving the quality of learning and student learning outcomes. This condition indicates the need for comprehensive and continuous improvement in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of supervision.

Abstract

Public demand for fast, transparent, and accountable services has encouraged educational institutions to innovate their administrative systems. One such innovation is the One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP), which centralizes various administrative services in a single unit to improve effectiveness and efficiency. This study aims to analyze PTSP management in improving administrative service quality at MAN Kota Palangka Raya using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the head of administration, PTSP officers, and service users. The results show that PTSP management is implemented through planning, organizing, and implementing service stages integrated into one unit. The novelty lies in developing a PTSP management model integrating management functions, service excellence ethics (5S principles), and administrative digitalization in the madrasah context. The study reveals the interrelationship between service governance, officer behavior, and technology use in improving public education service quality, producing empirical findings of increased service time efficiency and user satisfaction as PTSP management success indicators in Islamic educational institutions.
