Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain: 1). The ability to memorize short surahs in the Al-Qur’an and Hadith subject among first-grade students of MIN 2 Sambas. 2). The implementation of the habituation method in improving the memorization of short surahs in the Al-Qur’an and Hadith subject among first-grade students of MIN 2 Sambas. 3). The implications of the habituation method in improving the memorization of short surahs in the Al-Qur’an and Hadith subject among first-grade students of MIN 2 Sambas. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was examined using triangulation and member checking. The results of the study show that: 1. The ability to memorize short surahs in the Al-Qur’an and Hadith subject among first-grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Sambas includes: a) ability, b) memorization, c) sources of motivation, d) development, e) improvement, f) prevention, and g) habituation. 2. The implementation of the habituation method in improving the memorization of short surahs in the Al-Qur’an and Hadith subject among first-grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Sambas consists of: a) routine activities, b) spontaneous activities, c) exemplary behavior (role modeling), and d) programmed activities. 3. The implications of the habituation method in improving the memorization of short surahs in the Al-Qur’an and Hadith subject among first-grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Sambas include: a) enabling children to memorize independently in their daily lives without parental assistance, b) internalized values that are manifested in their lives, c) application in daily life, and d) habituation can encourage and accelerate behavioral change.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using artificial intelligence (AI)-based worksheets on student engagement in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning among seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 7 Sambas. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, involving two classes: one experimental class using AI-based worksheets and one control class using conventional methods. The research instruments consisted of pre-test, post-test, observation, and a student engagement questionnaire, analyzed using t-tests and PLS-SEM. The findings revealed that before the intervention, student engagement levels were relatively low in both the experimental class (average score 62.8) and the control class (57.7). After the implementation of AI-based worksheets, student engagement in the experimental class increased significantly to an average score of 86.8, while the control class only reached 61.63. The t-test results indicated a significant difference between the two groups. Moreover, the PLS-SEM analysis confirmed the validity and reliability of the instruments and reinforced the positive effect of AI-based worksheets on student engagement. In conclusion, AI-based Diffit worksheets significantly enhanced students’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor engagement in PAI learning. These findings suggest that integrating AI technology into religious education can serve as an effective strategy to foster active student participation in the digital era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal about: 1). Teachers' learning planning strategies in increasing the learning interest of hyperactive children in the IIC SDS IT Shultoniyah Sambas class for the 2022-2023 Academic Year? 2). Strategies for implementing teacher learning in increasing the learning interest of hyperactive children in the IIC SDS IT Shultoniyah Sambas class for the 2022-2023 Academic Year? 3). Teacher learning evaluation strategies in increasing the learning interest of hyperactive children in the IIC SDS IT Shultoniyah Sambas class for the 2022-2023 Academic Year?. This research technique uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research type. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and data inference. The results of the study show that: 1. Teachers' learning planning strategies in increasing the learning interest of hyperactive children in the IIC SDS IT Shultoniyah Sambas class for the 2022-2023 Academic Year, namely, students are always directed to do the 5M, namely observing, asking, trying, concluding and communicating so that the learning process will be easy to do, especially for hyperactive children. 2. Strategies for implementing teacher learning in increasing the learning interest of hyperactive children in the IIC SDS IT Shultoniyah Sambas class for the 2022- 2023 Academic Year, namely, using cooperative learning methods with a scientific approach so that students who are identified as hyperactive are smooth in accepting the learning process provided by the teacher. Teachers also use ice breaking when it is not conducive in class. Usually teachers do singing and playing games. 3. Teacher learning evaluation strategies in increasing the learning interest of hyperactive children in the IIC SDS IT Shultoniyah Sambas class for the 2022- 2023 Academic Year, namely, how to provide KKM standards that are different from normal children. If equalized, it will make it difficult to achieve the learning outcomes of hyperactive children.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative approach and the type of research used is descriptive. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. Then the data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data display/data presentation, and drawing conclusions. While the technique of checking the validity of the data researchers use triangulation techniques and member checks. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Students' learning difficulties can be concluded that the difficulties experienced by students with learning difficulties include: a) Difficulty in Understanding Symbols; b) Difficulty in Understanding Concepts; c) Difficulty in Calculation; d) Difficulty in Understanding Principles; 2) Simply put, the implementation of teacher competencies as educators is: a) Ensuring Student Readiness in Learning Mathematics; b) Use of Mathematics Learning Media; c) Solving Problems According to Student Abilities; d) Teacher Assessment of Learning; 3) The main inhibiting factor is still many obstacles, because students are considered as the covid-19 generation, so there are still many students who are not actually ready to be in grade IV. Supporting factors include communicative and trainable teachers who master teacher competencies and learning theories, mathematics learning principles, and the necessary teaching methods.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal: 1) Find out the fine motor skills of children in group B4 at the Sulthoniyah Sambas Islamic Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 academic year. 2) Knowing the teacher's strategy for improving fine motor skills in group B4 children at the Sulthoniyah Sambas Islamic Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 academic year. 3) Find out the teacher's evaluation in improving the fine motor skills of children in early childhood group B4 at the Sulthoniyah Sambas Islamic Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 academic year. This research uses a qualitative approach and is a phenomenological type of research. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results of this research show that: 1) Fine motor development in children at the Sulthoniyah Sambas Islamic Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 academic year is developing according to expectations in accordance with standard indicators of children's development achievement levels, namely: drawing according to their ideas; imitate form; carry out exploration with various media and activities; use stationery and cutlery correctly; cut according to the pattern; paste the image precisely; and express yourself through detailed drawing movements. 2) Teacher strategies in developing fine motor skills in children at the Sulthoniyah Sambas Islamic Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 academic year. In implementing learning, teachers use learning strategies in the form of; child-centered learning strategies; learning strategies through play; integrated learning strategies; problem-based learning strategies; and creativity-based learning. 3) Evaluation of teacher strategies in improving fine motor skills in early childhood group B at the Sulthoniyah Sambas Islamic Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 academic year using anecdotal notes and daily checklists which are carried out when the learning process is complete as a form of benchmark in seeing the level of fine motor development in children through teacher strategies in learning activities.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyse the evolving strategies in improving literacy through a comprehensive literature review. The main focus of this study is to understand the role of educational innovations in addressing literacy challenges in various contexts. By reviewing various sources or references, it was found that the use of digital technologies, such as reading platforms and educational apps, plays an important role in increasing student participation and interest in reading. In addition, the active involvement of teachers, parents and communities proved essential in shaping an enabling environment for literacy reinforcement. Thus, an adaptive and technology-based approach to literacy, supported by effective collaboration among stakeholders, can significantly improve literacy outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the central role of teachers in improving digital literacy and instilling ethical social media use among students through a literature review. Digital transformation has required teachers to not only master technological competencies but also integrate them creatively into the learning process. Teachers act as facilitators, mentors, and role models in shaping students' digital character, including guiding students to behave wisely and responsibly when using social media. Teachers' efforts include integrating digital literacy into the curriculum, providing training on social media ethics, fostering critical thinking towards information, and collaborating with parents and the school community. This study uses a literature review method by analysing literature related to the role of teachers, digital literacy strategies, and social media ethics education. The results of the review indicate that the success of digital literacy and social media ethics is greatly influenced by the capacity, innovation, and leadership of teachers. Thus, teachers are the key to creating a generation of students who are digitally literate and ethical in the virtual world.
