Abstract

This study aims to examine the importance of narrative consistency and brand identity across various digital channels, particularly websites, social media, email, and marketplaces, in building consumer trust and increasing brand recognition. Through a systematic literature review approach, this study analyses the relationship between brand communication consistency and two strategic elements, namely consumer trust and brand recognition. The results show that consistent narratives prevent message contradictions, strengthen perceptions of brand authenticity and credibility, and increase consumer loyalty. Meanwhile, consistent visual and verbal identities have been proven to accelerate brand recognition, build strong associations, and create sustainable differentiation in a competitive market. In practical terms, this study emphasises the importance of developing comprehensive brand guidelines and implementing integrated cross-channel communication strategies to deliver a harmonious brand experience. These findings not only enrich the academic literature on branding in the digital context but also have real implications for companies seeking to build sustainable competitive advantage in the digital age.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the efficiency of economic law in promoting economic growth through a literature review approach. Economic law efficiency is seen as a key factor in creating a conducive investment climate, reducing transaction costs, and providing legal certainty and protection for business actors. Using a literature review method and a normative legal approach, this study examines various relevant literature, theories, and previous research findings. The analysis reveals that the application of efficiency principles in economic law, such as effective contract enforcement and property rights protection, significantly contributes to sustainable economic growth. However, challenges such as overlapping regulations, bureaucracy, and weak law enforcement remain obstacles to optimising the role of economic law in Indonesia. Therefore, regulatory reform and strengthening law enforcement are needed so that economic law efficiency can function optimally as a driver of national economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the potential and impact of decentralised finance (DeFi) on financial inclusion through a literature review. DeFi is a blockchain-based innovation that offers financial services without intermediaries, thereby potentially expanding financial access for the unbanked and underbanked. The findings indicate that DeFi can enhance financial inclusion through cost efficiency, transparency, and ease of access to digital financial services. However, on the other hand, DeFi also presents challenges such as security risks, digital asset volatility, digital literacy gaps, and insufficient regulation and consumer protection. Therefore, optimising the benefits of DeFi for financial inclusion requires synergy between technological innovation, public education, and regulatory strengthening so that its benefits can be felt evenly and sustainably.

Abstract

The main sources of Islamic law are the Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet. The model for seeking Islamic law must first go through the legal verses found in the Qur'an, after which explanations are sought in the Hadith or the Sunnah of the Prophet. However, in this era of modern economics, there are many new systems or concepts of economic transactions that need to be examined to determine whether these systems or transactions can be conducted according to Islamic law. Seeing this reality, the usuli furu'iyah scholars, who usually come from the Hanafi or Maliki schools, seek new methods that can ensure the law functions well and serves the welfare of humanity. The approach taken was to apply the method of qiyas khafi based on maslahat. This method was then named the istihsan method. This research uses a normative approach with empirical descriptive analysis. The results of this research conclude that the istihsan method is one of the best ways for a mujtahid to discover and establish a legal ruling. Moreover, its application can be carried out in economic transactions that did not exist or had never been conducted before, even though the istihsan method still has its pros and cons. With the application of the ihtihsan method in legal discovery in the field of modern economy today, new laws are produced that are more suitable and provide benefits for the needs of society, and in turn, can avoid stagnation

Abstract

This article examines the role of training and development in improving employee performance through a review of Human Resource Management (HRM) literature. The method used in this study uses the literature method. The results of the review show that structured and relevant training programmes can improve employees' skills, knowledge and motivation, which in turn have a positive impact on individual productivity and organisational performance. In addition, continuous development helps employees to stay relevant to the latest industry and technological developments, which enhances organisational adaptability and competitiveness. Factors such as management support, an organisational culture that supports learning, and access to diverse learning opportunities were found to play an important role in the success of training programmes. Overall, training and development is an essential strategic investment for the long-term development of employees and organisations, and building sustainable competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study analyses marketing costs, profit margins between actors, marketing channel efficiency, and farmer's share distribution in the Indonesian palm oil marketing system through a literature review. The results show high marketing costs of Rp450-1,200/kg (22-30% of the fresh fruit bunch price), margin disparities (farmers 25-35% vs mill 35-42% added value), average channel efficiency of 24.6% (ideal <15%), and a national farmer's share of 71.4% (standard >80%) due to long supply chains and local oligopsony. The value-added approach reveals a redistribution potential of 12-18% through channel shortening, e-FFB trading digitalisation, and plasma partnerships recommended to increase systemic efficiency by 15-20% and the welfare of farmers managing 40% of the national area

Abstract

This study discusses the legal review of Islamic economics related to the policy of increasing BPJS health insurance contributions for participants during the economic crisis. From an Islamic economics perspective, the formulation of public policy must comply with the principles of justice, benefit, and protection of vulnerable groups, in accordance with the maqashid syariah. The literature review found that the increase in BPJS Health contributions during the crisis, although aimed at covering financial deficits and maintaining programme sustainability, imposes a burden on low-income communities and has the potential to cause harm. In Islamic law, policies that increase economic hardship and are not commensurate with the benefits of services are considered to fall short of the principles of justice and public welfare. Therefore, policy reformulation is necessary to align with Sharia principles, including through optimising subsidies, transparent fund management, and protecting vulnerable participants.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse performance management strategies in assessing and improving employee productivity. In a dynamic and competitive modern organisational environment, performance management not only functions as an administrative control tool but has evolved into a strategic system oriented towards optimising human resource potential. Through a literature review method, this study examines various academic literature and relevant empirical research results to identify the relationship between performance evaluation systems, work motivation, and competency development on productivity improvement. The results of the study indicate that an evaluative approach that is objective, evidence-based, and accompanied by continuous feedback can strengthen employee responsibility and engagement. Furthermore, motivation and competency development strategies have been proven to have a significant effect in creating positive work behaviour, improving skills, and forming an adaptive organisational culture. The integration of these three approaches forms a comprehensive, effective, and sustainable strategic performance management framework, which ultimately supports increased productivity and organisational competitive advantage in the era of digital transformation.

Abstract

This study analyses the strategic role of market segmentation, consumer targeting, and brand positioning within the STP framework to enhance marketing effectiveness amid Indonesia's competitive and rapidly digitalising market dynamics, where segmentation enables the division of a heterogeneous market into homogeneous segments based on geographic, demographic, psychographic, and behavioural criteria, targeting selects viable segments through measurability, accessibility, substantiality, and actionability with an undifferentiated to micromarketing approach, while positioning creates a unique perception through value proposition attributes, benefits, users, competitors, or quality-price based, so that the synergy of the three results in a 20-40% increase in marketing ROI, cost efficiency, consumer loyalty, and competitive advantage for MSMEs and large companies. The research method used is a literature review, adopting reputable national and international books and journals. The main findings confirm STP as a fundamental enhancer of holistic marketing effectiveness, with theoretical implications that enrich strategic marketing literature and provide practical, actionable guidance for practitioners, as well as recommendations for future empirical testing using mixed methods and AI integration for ASEAN generalisation.
