Abstract

The problem that is often experienced in the delivery of goods from distributor to the destination is the delivery route that is not sufficient with the vehicle's capacity. This matter is crucial because it can affect the clients' trust on the shippers in the distributor. This problem can be analyzed using Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) with Clarke and Wright Algorithm. This research begins with determining the distance between all coordinates with Euclidean Distance, making the distance matrix between places to go. After that, the calculation CVRP using Clarke and Wright Algorithm is exected in this study, a calculate CVRP using Clarke and Wright algorithm can help of Python. The study was conducted at 16 customers coordinates, the results obtained by 4 routes with total load 4751 kg and distance 436 km. Route of delivery the first route 924 kg load and distance 80 km, second route 962 kg load and distance 112 km, third route 1450 kg load and distance 144 km, and the fourth route 1415 kg load and distance 100 km.

Abstract

Salah satu produsen ban terbesar di Indonesia dalam proses produksinya memiliki beberapa family produk seperti Passenger Tires, Commercial Tires, dan Industrial Tires. Passenger Tires atau PSR merupakan family produk dengan penjualan terbesar, akan tetapi dalam perkembangannya terdeteksi adanya penurunan performa produksi yang mempengaruhi optimalisasi penjualan perusahaan. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan teridentifikasi adanya beberapa aktivitas pemborosan di lini produksi ban PSR. Mapping aktivitas bertujuan untuk menemukan jenis waste yang tepat pada setiap departemen produksi maupun workstation. Mapping dilakukan dengan menggunakan diagram Swimlane dan Process Activity Mapping (PAM). Hasil mapping mengidentifikasi aktivitas yang tidak memberikan nilai tambah dengan persentase aktivitas sebesar 48%. Waste assessment model (WAM) dipakai untuk menentukan peringkat seven waste. Dari hasil analisis dengan menggunakan metode WAM diperoleh tiga waste kritis utama yaitu waiting, motion, dan overproduction dengan proporsi masing-masing waste sebesar 22%, 18%, dan 16%. Setelah diketahui waste kritis maka dilakukan analisis akar masalah penyebab waste dengan menggunakan fishbone chart diagram dan root cause analysis.

Abstract

Lean Manufacturing is a method used to increased productivity and costs reduction by minimizing waste in the production process. This study describe the use of lean manufacturing with Single Minutes Exchange Of Dies tools on the PSR’s production floor in PT XYZ, which is engaged in automotive manufacture form making of car tires. Research stage begins by analyzing waste using mapping tool and identification causes of waste in workstation curing. The next stage is analyzing every step of machine setup that occurs are workpiece setup, mold setup, curing setup, and finishing setup. Based on observations, the amount of the initial state setup time is 194,05 minutes. The improvement begin by convert internal activities setup into external setup, reduction of operator displacement activity, elimination of adjusment, and apply a parallel operation by using two operators. So the total setup time can be reduced is equal to 127,41 minutes. Lean Manufacturing merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk meningkatkkan produktivitas dan pengurangan biaya dengan cara meminimasi pemborosan dalam proses produksi. Penelitian ini menjelaskan penggunaan Lean Manufacturing dengan tool Single Minutes Exchange Of Dies (SMED) pada lantai produksi PSR di PT XYZ, yang bergerak dalam bidang Automotive Manufacture berupa pembuatan ban mobil. Tahap penelitian diawali dengan melakukan analisis waste dengan Mapping tools dilanjutkan dengan mengidentifikasi penyebab pemborosan pada workstation curing. Tahap Selanjutnya adalah menganalisis tahapan proses setup mesin curing yang terdiri dari setup benda kerja, setup mold, setup curing, dan setup finishing. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, jumlah waktu setup keadaan awal adalah 194,05 menit. Perbaikan yang dilakukan adalah dengan mengkonversi aktivitas internal setup menjadi eksternal setup, pengurangan aktivitas perpindahan operator, eliminasi adjusment, dan menerapkan operasi paralel yaitu dengan menggunakan 2 operator. Sehingga total waktu setup yang dapat direduksi adalah 127,41 menit.

Abstract

The problem that often occurs in raw material inventory is overstock or stockout conditions. The healthcare industry, including pharmaceuticals, has been experiencing uncertainty since the Covid-19 pandemic. Then impacts panic buying and stockpiling, which can lead to unpredictable spikes in demand, stockouts, and disruptions to the inventory system. The research was conducted at ABC Pharmacy in Yogyakarta, which experienced this problem. In this study, optimization of drug supply was carried out by measuring ware­house capacity, and safety stock, increasing the number of orders and reorder points using the Min-Max and the economic order quantity models. A simulation of inventory optimi­zation planning was carried out using Monte Carlo to see inventory projections for the next three months. Overall, the EOQ model simulation shows the most optimal results by showing the average total inventory cost of Rp. 103,579, where this number represents the lowest number of total inventory costs when compared to other simulation models. It also shows that the EOQ model is 86% more efficient in inventory cost than the Min-Max model. Comparison of the total cost of inventory The results of the three methods are calcu­lated according to current demand and simulation of the EOQ method, which produces the minimum total inventory cost, followed by the company's initial model and the Min Max inventory method.

Abstract

The increase in the number of certified halal products shows the Indonesian people's increasing level of awareness of the halalness of a product. In addition, people are also increasingly curious about all the activities involved along the supply chain to ensure whether the products they buy are genuinely halal. One of the consumer products that need to be traced to the halal supply chain is beef products because there is a risk of contamination throughout the supply chain from raw materials, production processes, distribution, storage and handling. Calculation of risk in this study will use the House of Risk (HOR) method. This research focuses on the process of inbound and outbound logistics and the beef slaughtering process at the Purwokerto Slaughterhouse. The results of this study obtained 26 risk events and 28 risk agents. Based on risk mapping using phase 1 and Pareto HOR diagrams, 11 risks are prioritized based on the highest ARP values, namely A15, A25, A19, A7, A5, A28, A6, A2, A16, A17, and A21. Moreover, it made 14 recommendations for mitigation actions that the company can apply to control these risks.

Abstract

Produk mudah rusak memiliki karakteristik cepat kadaluarsa atau rusak serta kehilangan kualitas karena faktor eksternal seperti kelembaban, suhu, atau tekanan atmosfer. produk unggas beserta turunannya termasuk barang mudah rusak. CV Sinar Pangan Mandiri (SPM) merupakan perusahaan kelas menengah yang bergerak di bidang peternakan broiler, ayam petelur (layer farm), dan ayam pejantan. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada CV Sinar Pangan Mandiri yaitu kompleksnya jaringan distribusi serta tidak meratanya pembagian jumlah agen yang dilayani setiap Truk. Akibatnya beberapa Truk terlalu padat jumlah muatannya. Akhirnya keterlambatan pengiriman produk, dan terjadinya susut bobot unggas yang didistribusikan dikarenakan unggas mengalami stres selama perjalanan distribusi tidak dapat dihindari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meminimasi biaya pengiriman, serta membagi jumlah muatan untuk setiap Truk supaya lebih merata pada saat mengangkut produk unggas. Metode yang digunakan yaitu VRP berbasis Geographic Information System (GIS). Penelitian ini menggabungkan tiga jenis Vehicle routing problem (VRP) capacitated VRP, VRP with time windows, dan VRP with pick-up delivery, (CVRPTWPD) menggunakan Network Analyst VRP pada software ArcGIS yang meng­gunakan pendekatan Dijkstra dalam penentuan rute optimal. Hasil penelitian menunjuk­kan bahwa rute usulan mampu mengurangi waktu tempuh total sebanyak 163 menit (2,71 jam) dan jarak tempuh total sebesar 77,85 km, yang berarti penurunan waktu tempuh sebesar 10% dan penurunan jarak tempuh sebesar 37% dibandingkan dengan rute distribusi awal. Selain itu pembagian agen untuk setiap kendaraan menjadi lebih merata. Penelitian ini mendukung studi sebelumnya bahwa penggunaan VRP berbasis GIS dapat menghasilkan rute distribusi yang lebih optimal dengan menggabungkan tiga jenis VRP: capacitated VRP, VRP with time windows, dan VRP with pick-up delivery. Namun, penelitian ini belum mempertimbangkan kondisi kepadatan jalan raya secara real-time dan total waktu pengiriman. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan mempertim­bang­kan faktor-faktor tersebut dan mengeksplorasi metode lain untuk menyelesaikan permasalah­an VRP dengan lebih cepat dan efisien.

Abstract

Setelah pandemi covid berbagai jenis industri berusaha mempertahankan operasional perusahaannya. Salah satunya industri yang bergerak dalam suplai pangan seperti distributor unggas. Kegiatan usaha ayam potong pada tingkat Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) masih kesulitan mempertahankan kegiatan operasional produksi daging ayam akibat dari fluktuasi ekonomi akhir-akhir ini. Selain itu, harga dari daging ayam yang cenderung fluktuatif apabila dibandingkan dengan sebelum pandemi. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan pengukuran kinerja rantai pasok untuk mengetahui tingkat kinerja rantai pasoknya sehingga dapat mengetahui akar permasalahan yang terjadi dan perbaikan yang harus dilakukan. Penelitian ini mengangkat topik manajemen rantai pasok dengan pendekatan green pada UMKM Mitra Unggas Mandiri. Selain itu juga mengukur kinerja rantai pasok hijau dengan menggunakan pendekatan model SCOR 12.0 dan AHP. Hasilnya yaitu ada 19 KPI yang digunakan, dimana empat KPI termasuk dalam aspek green sebagai pengukuran rantai pasok hijau. Total skor pengukuran adalah 75.017, dimana nilai ini termasuk kedalam kategori Good. Hal ini menunjukkan secara keseluruhan proses rantai pasok hijau pada UMKM Mitra Unggas Mandiri sudah berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

The business sustainability of micro and small manufacturing enterprises (M-MSEs) are substantial to drive productivity and employment rate in many developing countries. However, due to various limitations, these enterprises are struggling to develop themselves into larger enterprises. For this reason, the government of Indonesia is enthused to provide technical and managerial supports for these M-MSEs. This study aims to provide an objective taxonomy of Indonesian M-MSEs as a guidance for the authorities to deliver the appropriate supports. The taxonomy was developed based on the survey to 735 M-MSEs in the Yogyakarta area. By using cluster analysis, we found that the M-MSEs can be classified into four distinct groups. Each group has its development strategies, ranging from adopting lean philosophy to instituting relationship marketing. This taxonomy provides useful directions for the authorities to support the development of M-MSEs in Yogyakarta and also serves as part of a broader effort to construct M-MSEs taxonomy in Indonesia.

Abstract

The canned food industry is experiencing growth in this modern era. Canned food has become a popular choice due to its convenience in storage and preparation. Canned food manufacturers continue to develop new products and improve the quality of existing products to meet the increasingly diverse consumer demand. Challenges in improving company performance require companies in the canned food industry to constantly enhance the performance of their supply chains to remain competitive in the global market. This research aims to measure the performance of the canned food industry supply chain by implementing SCOR and integrating it with AHP. Based on the performance measurement results, PT XZY, a canned food company, has a SCOR score of 76.58, indicating that the company's performance is considered good. The lowest KPIs are Delivery performance and Return performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the causes of delivery delays at PT XYZ. Delivery delays have become a critical issue as they can affect customer trust and result in potential losses for the company. The study identifies two main causes of delivery delays: shipping schedules and the aging (storage time) of goods in the warehouse. The method used in this research is Statistical Process Control, which involves several analytical tools such as P-chart, Pareto diagram, fishbone diagram, histogram, and scatter plot. The analysis results show that shipping schedules have a significant impact on delivery delays, with several delivery periods falling outside the upper control limit and lower control limit. Additionally, goods aging exceeding seven days also contribute to delays. Other influencing factors include human aspects (data entry errors), environmental factors (bad weather and changes in shipping schedules), methods (schedule mismatches), and measurements (inaccurate stock data). The study recommends several improvements to enhance delivery efficiency, including optimizing stock recording processes, strengthening work discipline, and improving human resource quality through operational training.
