Abstract

The program focused on enhancing the quality of submicroscopic-level chemistry teaching, which often presents challenges in understanding abstract concepts. The initiative employed a combination of workshops and training sessions, providing materials and hands-on practice with PhET and SiPERU to enable teachers to integrate technology optimally into digital learning. Survey results indicated that 72.5% of 51 respondents rated PhET and SiPERU as very easy to use (score 5), 25.5% gave a score of 4, and only 2% assigned a score of 3, with no scores below 3. The majority of teachers found these tools highly effective in facilitating the teaching of chemistry. Furthermore, a survey on the effectiveness of the trainers showed that 80.4% of respondents gave the highest score (5) for clarity and ease of understanding, while 19.6% rated them with a score of 4, reflecting highly effective delivery. This program successfully improved teachers' competence in conveying submicroscopic concepts through digital media while boosting their confidence in integrating technology into instruction. Additional positive outcomes included the development of digital teaching modules, strengthening lifelong learning approaches, and addressing modern educational challenges. The program holds potential for expansion through ongoing support and broader collaborations to ensure more significant and sustainable impacts. Keywords— MGMP, PhET, SiPERU, Life Long Learning
