The global health impact of diabetes mellitus has been well-accepted elsewhere. Community service programs addressing diabetes play a crucial role in enhancing public health by promoting awareness, prevention, management of the disease and complication prevention. The goal of this community services was to enhance the partners knowledge in mentoring the patients. The methods of this programmed were focus group discussion to identify the partner problems, educational outreach, role playing with pre and posttest to evaluate the improvement and evaluation programme. The results were 80% improvement of partner knowledge of diabetes mellitus. By engaging communities in proactive health measures, these programs not only aim to reduce the prevalence of diabetes but also strive to improve the quality of life for those affected, ultimately contributing to healthier communities and the 3rd SDGs achievement.
