This study aims to examine in depth the various empowerment strategies implemented for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), specifically tofu-making businesses located in the Nipah Panjang II Urban Village. A qualitative approach was employed, enabling a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics and processes involved in MSME empowerment. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews with business owners and relevant stakeholders, direct observation of production activities, and a review of pertinent supporting documentation. The data analysis revealed that empowerment strategies—encompassing technical and managerial skills training, intensive business management mentoring, and the expansion of marketing networks—significantly enhanced the production capacity and income of the MSME operators. These strategies not only fostered economic growth but also cultivated self-reliance, creativity, and innovation among the business owners. The findings demonstrate that consistent and sustainable empowerment can serve as a vital foundation for building resilient and competitive MSMEs that contribute to the overall economic well-being of the local community.
